Boston Body is the Best Pilates studio in New England. I travel for work and every time I am in the Boston Area I visit Boston Body for some classes. Every class I have been in - morning, noon or night has been such a great workout. All of the instructors are fantastic and they make working out fun. The studio is brand new with all new equipment. The classes are much smaller then at a gym and you get so much personal attention. If you are looking for a great workout- check out Boston Body!

I am so excited they just opened in Concord! I work downtown but live near concord and I now have the Best of Both Worlds.. Mallory worked with me to select the right programs for me and I was really impressed by how much she cared about me being happy and feeling at home. I have recentley relocated from New York and have been looking for months for a studio where I felt comfortable. The people male all the difference.

Working out at Boston Body has completely changed my body. A co-worker introduced me to Boston Body Pilates on Newbury Street. I was feeling down about my body and even though I wasn't gaining weight my clothes kept fitting me tighter. I had never tried Pilates before and was nervous. But from my first class the instructors made me feel so comfortable. They helped me understand the right way to do the exercises and every week I could feel my body getting stronger. It is hard for me to remember how bad I felt a few months ago. And my body is more toned than it was in my 20's when I was hitting the elliptical and weights 5 days a week. I've also made a few friends at Boston Body. Everyone is so nice. Now when I see a new person I go out of my way to make them feel good so that they will feel as good as I do.

I have been taking Pilates for 8 years all over the country. I will tell you that Sharon Barry is one of my most favorite teachers. Sharon is demanding but a lot of fun to take with, she was the excitement at the end of my day. I highly highly recommend going to Boston Body and make sure you take from Sharon.

I am SOOO not an athlete, but Boston Body is great - fun, not itimidating, and a great workout. Sharon, in particular is FABULOUS - a great trainer - she really knows her stuff - most importantly, knows how to adapt the session to your individual needs and skill-level.

I just visited Boston from Manhattan where I take Pilates at a top studio there. The concierge at my hotel recommended Boston Body and I went there for two equipment classes. I loved everything about it. The atmosphere is so small and no attitude from anyone-other clients or staff. The classes were better than my regular classes-great instructor. Sharon is one of the most experienced trainers in town and pushes you to the limit. Between her, Jonathan and Kathryn, you couldn't find a better place to work out and I nominate Sharon for Improper Bostonian's trainer of the year! I don't know what the negative reviews are about, but they are definitely out dated. If you haven't tried Boston Body lately, it's definately time to.

This studio is basically the same as other studio's around town but significantly more expensive and offers nothing to justify that other than the Newbury address. The staff (owner) also is constantly in sales mode trying to get you to buy more expensive private lessons. Stay away from this studio - you're better off trying others.

I was very pleased with the my experience with Boston Body Pilates & Yoga Center. It was my first foray into pilates and the instructor was wonderful for the beginners, led us through the workouts step-by-step until we were comfortable with the moves. I took both the floor class and the ball workout class and both gave me a wonderful sense of well-being. The prices were fair and the benefits I received were well worth it.

The boston body pilates and yoga center is avery good place to go if you are into pilates or yoga. I find both of these to be very relaxing and good for you r body and at this Center they do a good job with the classes and are reasonabley priced I would reccomend them if you enjoy either of these two exercises.

I started doing Pilates at Boston Body two months ago. I did three private sessions and now I've been doing the semi-privates on the Pilates machines. My whole body feels a lot better and more toned. Especially my stomach which is flatter. I recommend Boston Body because it's small and they know everyone here. I had been to some other Pilates studios and they are a lot nicer here. They push you, but don't make you feel like a wimp if you can't do all the exercises. I wish I could do more private lessons but can't afford it. But the semi-privates seem pretty personalized and I'm enjoying it. I never want to stop doing Pilates. I can't wait until my stomach gets flat.
