My husband and I love Finale. Although pricey, the desserts are wonderful and beautifully plated so we feel it's well worth the money. We also enjoy the regular menu when we're in the mood for lighter fare. They also have a fantastic drink menu that features unique and delicious cocktails.
The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The restaurant is decorated with dark woods complimented with reds and golds and low lighting. When buying our place, I actually commented to my husband that I wanted to recreate the color scheme in our own house!
Between the atmosphere, the perfectly created desserts, and the decadent drinks, Finale is a perfect date spot.

Finale is located very close to the t-station in Harvard Square. It is next to UHS, Harvard University's Health Service. The restaurant Finale is not really a restaurant.
All they sell are mainly desserts and tehy do a really good job at it.
However, it gets really expensive and you could pay at least $5 for some slices of cake.
The place is usually very dark and is for romantics. So, be sure to check this out if you are on a date.

Impressive desserts and presentation. This place has been written up in many national food magazines. It is pretty expensive, esp. their bakery. But everything is so good! They also have a light dinner menu with pretty good small gourmet pizzas and dips if you want to make a meal of the place.

I would say that the price for desert is really expensive. Once desert can cost around $5 -8/slice. The cake is so-so. The place is good, hard to get a parking though. If you really like this place, you should get the reward card where you can get points. You will get double points on Monday and get free cake on your birthday. Ask them for details.

This location is not much different from the one in Boston, though the crowd will be littered more with 20-somethings and their visitng parents. This is a restaurant that serves only desserts and coffees, and costs about the price of a full meal. However, it is WELL worth the price. Each item is carefully prepared by a dessert chef at their bar that has a mirror hanging over, so you can see how they prepare everything. Their desserts have won numerous awards, and it is very evident why....chocolate, vanilla, cream.....no matter what it's made of, everything melts slowly on your tongue.
