As someone who has worked in customer service most of my life - I understand how difficult it must be to answer the phone 8 hours a day or be on the road in peoples homes - trying to make everyone happy. As much as I realize this is impossible - I have found that the team at Cardi's Furniture cares and tries their very best.
Are there times that circumstances out of their control that do not allow them to succeed (like snow storms, vendor shipping delays, etc) - of course just like any other company.
However - the people I have spoken to and work with when I made my furniture purchase, received delivery - all were very caring and concerned with making sure everything went as smoothly as humanly possible.
That is why I am loyal to them as a customer

I purchased a new living room set. Upon checkout I was asked if I wanted to buy the "extened warrenty" to cover any stains or rips. I explained to him that I have purchased that warrenty elsewhere and found it to be a rip off because in the end no one ever replaced my stained couchs. He assured me the Cardi;s stands by their warrenty, ect. Anyway, I purchased it. My daughter got lipgloss on the cushions and marker (she is 4) I called right away and the repair man came and cleaned the cushions but the stains never came out. I called Cardi;s, and to make a long story short - they did not replace my cushions. Lipgloss is not covered. Marker is not covered. What a rip off. Never Ever Again will I buy furniture there.....or atleast not buy an extended warenty that covers nothing again.

Our family (extended included) shop at Cardi's.
We are very budget sensitive and do price comparisons - but always come back to Cardi's to buy
I dont agree with others who say they are expensive - I have compared same and similar product with other retailers and they are always LESS expensive for the same item.
They do have a wide selection of price points (as they should) - but when comparing apples to apples - they are always the best price. Beautiful showrooms and friendly staff - can't beat them

I just bought a new bed from Cardi's. Let me first say that I hate salespeople. They make me crazy. I feel like they are watching me like a hawk. The salesperson approached us after a few minutes just to let us know he was there to answer any questions. We tried out a lot of beds (and so did our two children). I never felt pressured or as if somone were watching me. When we had made our decision, the gentleman helped my husband with all the paper work while I took our children over to the kids department to browse and play in all the "kid friendly displays". The salesman had us in and out pretty quickly (which made me very happy). My kids were thrilled with the free cookie they were given on the way out! About an hour after we got home, the deliverymen were there with our new bed. Although it was cold and snowy out, they were very careful not to make a mess in the house. The bed was a tempurpedic and tough to fold up in the cold, but they managed to get it into the house and into our bedroom without any trouble. I have had many experiences where workmen and delivery people are rude and make a mess. Not so with these deliverymen, they were very polite and neat. A nice touch was a thank you note from the salesman which arrived a few days later. I know this experience will have me going back to Cardi's when my family room furniture wears out! Thank you, Cardi's!

Why would anyone buy from a discount store - when we get better quality at great prices at Cardi's.
I ran into one of the NIROPE's once - and he was genuinely proud of his team when I shared my positive experiences with him. He knew the sales person, office clerk and drivers by name .

Let me start by saying the only reason I went through the following is because I had a gift certificate that Cardi's gave me when they screwed up another purchase I'd made three years ago, otherwise I wouldn't have gone there. We were told by a mattress sales associate that they price match 110%. They advertise that a mattress purchase of $500 or more will get you free delivery and removal of old bedding. Also, they will give you a bed frame. Well, I found the same mattress they were selling for $1000 was $100 less at Sleepys. So the salesman says right off the bat that Sleepys mattress is a lesser quality and different line. So I came back w/that I had done my homework and it was the exact same mattress. He says well I need written proof before I can price match. We go back the next day w/a printout from Sleepys and w/o even looking at it he now claims he went to a Sleepys store and found that their mattress is not in the store and is only a web purchase. He said he played stupid as he put it (I don't think he had to play when it comes to stupid) and asked the salesperson what the coil gauge was. He claimed it was 15 as opposed to 13.25 which is what Cardi's version has so its not the same and they won't price match. So basically go screw yourself. We walked away and went to sit on a sofa in the living room showroom to call a Sleepys store and their sales associate said it was the exact same size. Well you should have seen the salesman's face when we went back and confronted him in front of other people who were shopping. Now he claims he has to call the mattress buyer and get permission to price match, but first he asks if we need a bed frame because that will cost us. I said no and didn't bother to contradict him even though we had already been told it was free. Then he said it would cost $30 for removal of old bedding and I said Cardi's (and also Sleepy's) are advertising free removal so now you're contradicting your own ads. So he gets on the phone and comes back w/ok we'll match the price and won't charge for delivery/removal. I asked what happened to 110% and he said he couldn't do that because he had to match apples to apples. Then as we're walking to the cashier desk he says that he was told by the mattress buyer for Cardi's that Simmons told them personally that the coil gauge of Sleepys mattress was 15. Gee, why would Simmons tell Cardi's what Sleepys is doing/selling? So my husband said to him basically you just lied because I called Sleepys and they told me themselves that it was the same as yours. After the two men came and delivered the set (we tipped them well before they left) they basically bolted out the door. When my husband went to close the front door and turn off the outside light he called out I guess they weren't pleased w/their tip because they left all the plastic wrap from the mattress/boxspring on the front lawn. CARDI'S SUCKS AND YOU SHOULDN'T SHOP THERE!!!!

Terrible customer service and extremely rude. 3K couch appearance terrible after 3 months and I live alone, not like a family of ten was using. Rude, rude, rude. Just a bought a house and purchasing new furniture for it at any store other than cardi's. Will NEVER shop there again. I'd give them zero stars if I could

Even though their commercials are idiotic and annoy the hell out of anyone I ask, we bought a camel colored leather couch and chair set there anyway three years ago. Real leather on top and front and pleather on side and back. The sales person told us this up front. No problem. Well within six months, the "leather" part started to turn a different color. Probably from the sun. A little disappointing but understandable. Well after three years those lightened spots turned a flourescent bright green, a color found in nature only at the bottom of a pond. And the rest that didn't turn green faded so much from the original color that it is probably 7-8 shades away. We did buy the extended warranty, but when Cardis came to look at it, we were basically told to go screw ourself. This is not covered. Can we do anything else for you?

The pleather held up pretty well, though.

I COULD HAVE SUED THEM BUT CHOSE NOT TO. COME TO FIND OUT WHEN I NEEDED SERVICE THERE WAS NONE. SPOKE TO ONE OF THE OWNERS HE COULD CARE LESS.

I strongly agree. The customer service is the worst. I received damaged furniture when arrived. scratched on every piece. One week later they switched the furniture with new pieces. The leg fell off of the coffee table within 2 weeks. Broken pieces of wood were screwed together under the table on the leg and a screw was missing (as if someone would never notice). We had to wait 6 weeks for a sleeper sofa. When arrive the sleeper was broken and wouldn't pull out. When the technician arrived 3 days later he noticed the chair we received also was coming apart at the seem(which was nice on his part to notice this) and he took pictures and he could not believe the damages . The casters (legs) were all put on backwards and scratched on the chair and couch.The tech called customer service and I told them wanted to return the whole set and has been a horrible experience and was inferior quality and after waiting hours 4 times coming to my house continuously they told me I could return the couch that was broken now and receive credit for the store and I would have to pay 95 dollars for them to pick it up. Are they crazy !!! A brand new furniture that just arrived !! I had lamps to go with the set and the supervisor wanted to know what was wrong with them. I said if I return the couch and chair they don't match. Complete incompetent idiots. Myself having worked in a call center for 3 years I have never ever treated anyone in this manor.I always put the customer first and do whats best to keep them coming back. I received no compensation no sympathy for damaged furniture with an ongoing problem. I myself was not pleased with this customer service. I will never buy from Cardi's again having gone through this experience. Oh and still waiting for a return phone call with which they told me they would call back in a short while. I won't hold my breath. I hope Nick , Ron , and Pete are aware of the poor attitudes of their supervisors and management to what is going on there.

Great selection. The Swansea store is huge. But good luck if there is a problem with your order. Their customer service departmet needs improvement! They'll take your name and number and say they'll call you back, but you won't hear from them. So you have to keep following up with them. It's been been five months since my order was delivered. One piece was missing and I still haven't received it!!! And Cardi's hasn't done anything to turn this dissatisfied customer into a a happy one (no discount, coupons, etc.) I like the quality of items at their store (especially in the Design Center) but not sure I'd want to deal with the customer service headache ever again.

We purchased a sectional sofa from Cardi's, and were pleased with the process. They offer an easy to navigate showroom with well laid out rooms and furniture. They have a good selection to choose from, as well as fabric options, and even features on a sofa (for example, our sectional offered different arm rest styles). Their prices are competitive, and they offer a good delivery program (wait time was reasonable). The staff was friendly & helpful, without being pushy. They had ample parking and good business hours. We would definitely return to Cardi's in the future.

There are all types of gorgeous furniture for every room of the house here. There is plenty of parking, and the salespeople aren't too pushy. There are two levels, and they also sell mattresses. The prices range from moderate to expensive. I wish I could've bought all my furniture from here!

This is a great place to go if you are looking to refurnish your home. They have very high prices but such a great selection to choose from. The sales people are very helpful and they know what they are talking about. They don't haunt you if you say that you are just looking around. Alot of the time they wait for you to ask them questions which is nice for a change.
