Most Romantic Restaurant In Boston Area

by Greg R.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! I love this place. Classy and excellent food. Each item is about $10, and you'll want to buy at least 3. I was VERY full by the end, and the sangria is outstanding. It is a very romantic date spot... be sure to request a seat in the window sill (but you can only reserve those before 6:30).

Great Tapas

by naomi b. | insider Insider | Rank: 24,506

I went to Dali with a few friends after having read several reviews. The tapas are really creative and delicious. The decor is really interesting. Try the Porron (personalized wine decanter)! Just be careful because the tapas can add up quickly. They're just so tasty that you want to keep ordering more.

Muy bien

by Jennifer M. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,439

I spent a month in Spain and this is the closet you will get to authentic Spanish cuisine. I loved the baked goat cheese, the paella and squid tapas. Everything tasted fresh and was well prepared, nice setting, great staff and service, check it out!

Good, but disappointing if you are from Spain.

by What F.

The atmosphere does have a flavor of Spain pity many ingredients from Spain are not allowed in the US and therefore restaurants have to use substitutes and you know what happens when you use substitutes. Thats not any restaurants fault, though. When you leave, you do get a little bit of Spain, from the atmosphere more so than from the food, but hey, can't have everything. Overall, highly recommended; expensive, but recommended.

PROS: Atmosphere.
CONS: Price, no reservations taken.

A Cultural Eating Experience

by Erikka A. | insider Insider | Rank: 16,979

Entering Dali, you leave Somerville and walk into a small restaurant in Spain. Dried vegetables hang in a colorful array above the bar, along with a pig's head. Mosiac tiling along the front of the bar and on the walls creates a dizzying effect of movement and busyness. The host and servers are dressed not for a casual meal, but for a dinner party. Diners wear anything from shorts and a shirt to dresses and ties. Dali's creates an atmosphere to compliment the food, which itself is wonderful. A variety of animals are served in mini portions, almost as if they are appetizers. One can eat duck, lamb, partridge, or the standard chicken and beef. There are also unique and creative vegetable dishes. All dishes use fresh foods, Spanish spices, and authentic recipes for a taste of Tapas. To compliment any meal, order a pitcher of Sangria!
