Outback Steakhouse is an Australian steakhouse restaurant. Although beef and steak items make up a good portion of the menu, the concept offers a variety of chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta dishes. Outback Steakhouse emphasizes consistently high-quality food and service, generous portions at moderate prices and a casual atmosphere suggestive of the Australian Outback. Australia is a place of adventure and wonder. Make a discovery of your own at Outback Steakhouse with our New Menu. It's bursting with innovative new choices, classic favorites and lower prices, including 15 meals under $15 starting at $9.95*. *At participating locations
The waiter was eager to assist and helpful with the entre choices, also made an effort to accommodate special needs. Many choices on the menu, could use more vegetable dishes. Food arrived fairly quickly, and the portions were more than enough to feed two. Reasonably priced and good atmosphere. Would go again.

This is the best place to go for steak! I have tried the seafood and it is not as good as the steak. It has a "rub" on it that is so tasty! The store is always busy so plan ahead and use the call ahead seating. It is really worth the wait though!

I love this place. most of the time the service is great and not bad pricing. The parking isn't that bad either. The best salads

It is what it's supposed to be. The same as Chili's, Applebee's, etc. You know it's not a real steakhouse when you go, so at least they don't hide it.

Outback Steakhouse is a fastfood type resturant and shouldn't be rated in the top ten in boston's best steakhouses. I can name a great deal of others not listed

Out of all the possibles that I have eaten at, the Outback has always been a favorite. The portions are big and the steak is always cooked to perfection. In the rare instance that its not, they are more than willing to replace it. Over all a great place to eat. Just make sure you call ahead.
Pros: Good Value, great service
Cons: crowded

Outback is overpriced for what it is. Also, tell the kitchen staff to stay away from the salt shaker! My steak, and "Aussie Fries" had so much salt on them, I had to scrape the seasoning off the steak, and forgo the fries all together.
Pros: Nice Interior
Cons: expensive, crowded, too salty

I think I've been here before, it's called Fridays or Chilis or Applebees or something like that.
The foods not even Australian - where's the vegemite and eucalyptus?

I personally feel there are far greater steakhouses in the boston area who desreve to be on this list. outback may have the advertising dollar. But thee food other than the over use of spices is similar to and regurgitates other chain food restaurant ideas. throw a vote to 11 Chop house in worcester MA before outback or even Kens in Framingham before using your unimagination to cast a vote for outlaw steakhouse.

Outback has great service excalent food and great prices the staff help you if you need it and always greet you with a smile

This place has the natiest, toughest steaks in Boston. I can't believe it made anyone's top 10 list.

In the immortal words of Rodney Dangerfield...."This steak still has marks where the jockey was beating it!"
Another sorry excuse for real food by one of the many frozen food slingling chain restaurants. You can't get a decent glass of wine or a less than watered down cocktail. In the world of cuisine consumers, there are Tasters and Non-tasters. This is a Non-Tasters paradise!
Pros: Close to home
Cons: Is this steak?, Frozen veggies, Contrived decor

this resturant is nothing to brag about and is nothing special. food is usually dry but it taste ok.
service depends on which kid you get but usually friendly.
the Randolph, MA one usually isnt bad for an occasional bit to eat but i have heard really bad things about how the food taste in the Quincy Center Outback
Pros: parking, good drinks
Cons: dry food

In addition to the excellent food for the value, is the homey, comfortable feeling provided by the friendly and congenial waitstaff.
I eat there often and will continue to do so!!

I've dined all around the city in some of the best steakhouses, and by far and away the best steak I have had is at the Outback. Great place, great value, very tasty steak

I have yet to order an edible meal at any Outback without first requesting no seasoning. And for this you usually have to wait an hour or more.

Outback Steakhouse is no better nor worse than a 99, Chili's or Applebees. All these chains sell pretty much the same food for around the same price with no originality. They are usually crowded with a long wait for mediocre food. I refuse to wait more than 10 minutes for a table in a resturant for food I can prepare at home at approximately the same time. To say that the Outback is good enough to place in the top 10 is like saying Anchor Hocking table wear is as nice as Waterford.
Pros: no surprises
Cons: no surprises

The Outback has its ups and downs. The food and service can be great some visits and terrible others. The prime rib and chicken on the barbie are my favorites and are pretty consistent. End the meal with a piece of their cheesecake which is always delicious.
Cons: Crowded, Too little parking

The wait was significant, and the beer selection limited, but the steak was great. Cooked to order with yummy sides, we all wanted more. Some of the fried appies were a little dark, but tasty none the less. The service was prompt considering the volume of business.
Pros: steak done to order, nice variety, able service
Cons: long wait, beer menu limited, noisy atmosphere

The Outback has great appys and even better steak without breaking you wallet. Drawback around New England is the wait can be up to 2 hours. Call ahead seating is great though.
The curbside pickup is great if you are withing 15min drive the bring right out to your car and off you go!
Pros: value, service, Quality
Cons: noisy, wait, crowded

Uh, does anyone realize that this chain is just a step above McDonald's? Grow up & don't be afraid to try real food...unless you live in a trailer and this is all you can afford. Then, I wish you luck.
