4 Stars: Sound Bites has delicious food and good prices (by Jennifer N.)

My sister and I stopped here in the summer while we were visiting colleges (Tufts) in the area. I got a mexican omelette with fresh EVERYTHING and it was absolutely delicious. The servers were attentive and helpful and answered all of our questions (we had a bunch). The setting was lovely - sitting semi-outside near the street watching people go by and enjoying the sunshine. Great atmosphere, awesome food. I will definitely stop in again when I am in the area.

1 Stars: Rude and tacky (by liz R.)

I was loving brunch here until the staff came over after an hour to ask us to leave because people were waiting for a table. I was with friends I hadn't seen in a while we were really enjoying catching up. We were all stunned when they nudged us out. I've never been asked to leave a restaurant before, let alone after an hour on a Sunday morning! If they needed us to move along they might have been apologetic or given us a symbolic break on the bill or something to demonstrate that this wasn't the way to treat customers. I guess they take their success for granted

5 Stars: Awesome (by Patrick M.)

Best breakfast place....hands down.

The line is there for a reason...it is great food. Best part is that you can go in and grab a cup of coffee and bring it outside while waiting in line.

4 Stars: Sound Bites Worth The Wait (by Matthew U.)

Don't be disuaded by the line outside the door; Sound Bites' breakfast is delicious, original and the bottomless coffee while you wait makes it worth it. The staff hustles patrons in and out quickly without being pushy and the portion size and original flavors make this the best breakfast spot in the Davis Square area despite the crowded seating and lack of decor.

PROS: great food, huge portions, good coffee selection
CONS: often a wait (therefore crowded)
