I know a lot of people who love The Chateau...I just don't happen to be one of them. The place definitely offers a LOT of seating and can accomodate large parties. The food I didn't think was anything special in the taste department but they do offer a large portion of food. If you like oversized dishes, family dining and American Italian cuisine, you would probably like the Chateau but if you want a fine dining experience, I'd recommend you head elsewhere.

American-Italian food served with 70's style. Oh, the gold room does not disappoint in it's tackiness! Seriously, the food is standard pizza place food, but the Chateau experience...it's worth it.
Definitely try the toasted raviolis (I believe the Waltham locals refer to them as "toasted ravs"). A breaded, fried cheese ravioli with marinara dipping sauce - total comfort food.

This is a nice basic Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy, just good, basic food and lots of it. Their marinara sauce is wonderful. They have function rooms. Prices are reasonable, service is good.

You'll love the Chateau! With their yellow leather booths and large open dining room, you feel like your eating with family. The food here is always good and you can't beat the prices! They even do call-ahead take out! It's the best!
