I should have known better, considering the poor customer service I received the moment I walked in the door. Perhaps it was my appearance as I'd just stopped in after spending an hour at the gym nearby, or perhaps it was the fact I mentioned I had bought a teak set from Westminster Teak and was looking for an umbrella to go with it? When looking at my options for umbrellas I felt rushed to make a decision, so I told them I'd come back at a later date when I would have more time. The next time I stopped in, the woman behind the counter was helpful. The older man, not so much! I'm not sure why he walks around the store, if he seems so uninterested in helping customers. The woman told me the size umbrella I would need for the size table I had previously bought from WT. However, when I received the umbrella it was in fact not the right size! The diameter of the pole was too small and the umbrella was too big! When I called them to ask if I could return and purchase the correct size, I was told it is a FINAL SALE. Really? It's never been used! AND it was you that suggested the umbrella in the first place. You told me all poles are standard. I would never purchase anything from this store. NEVER! Regardless of my feelings, shame on YOU!

The day we entered their store, the first first words out of the sales rep's mouth were, "I'm sorry, but this store is really high end. You are not going to find anything cheap in here." (Were we wearing a sign that said "we can't afford this place?") He then brought us to the clearance section to sell us a table that was sitting on top a pile of boxes for $100 and told us we could "mix and match" some of the clearance chairs to go along with it. (Did we say we were looking for a mismatched set?)) He had zero knowledge of the product. We asked if we could speak to someone else, and the manager finished the sale of our $1400 patio set that we "couldn't afford." When we got our chairs home, we noticed three had major paint gouges chipped out of them from poor packaging from the warehouse. The friction during travel had warn off the finish entirely. The manager said he would order three more chairs and to keep the others until they came in, and "Not to worry - This wasn't right and he would resolve this." Two months later, after two unreturned calls, we found out the order was never placed b/c the warehouse wouldn't take responsibility for the scratched chairs. No one notified us of this, and Sunline also declined their responsibility for them! (So, apparently, we - the customers - are supposed to "eat it." as the manager called it.) So, not only were we financially profiled, we have been lied to, ignored, and forced to keep brand, new defective chairs that were incredibly expensive. They still have not resolved the problem for us! We have done nothing wrong except make what we thought was a quality investment on a long-term patio set, and we have been treated horrifically ever since.

I recently purchased a beautiful teak bench from Sunline Patio and had a terrific experience. The product is top quality and the customer service and the home delivery was great. I will certainly make future purchases with them.

Cindy, one of the owners makes promises right to your face and then breaks them without even breaking a sweat. I'm not sure if they just don't care or if they are incapable of running a business...either way-we got burned! STAY AWAY FROM SUNLINE!!!!!!!!!!

This organization appears to have good products and initial service to support the sale, but following the sale, they have NO customer service at all. As an example I bought a very expensive umbrella a year ago, they told me they couldnt replace it, couldnt fix it, and offered no solution at all to help us with our matched set that we spent over $3000 dollars on. I would reccomend never to buy from this group again.
