Red Rose Pizzeria

This is my second time here. The first time I wanted a specialty pizza and got the standard one. I did tell the waitress I wanted the thin crust and some how we got it wrong. I also got calamari which was a little too done but the maranara sauce was fabulous.
Now for the second time I visited the red rose,,,,
I brought the famil;y. I was told every thing was great,,, well,,,,
I got the pizza thin crust and i is worth the price. I got the calamari and it wassagain a little chewey,, over done again and this time the maranara sauce was flat, most of it was left behind.
Specialty pizza was fairly good and it's all I would go there for again.
It's half the amount of food as the other pizza so I don't understand the bigger Price.
We got a chicken dish with two large sizes of chiken and it was pretty good. My wife got the seafood over linguini. The fish was over cooked the shrimp was over cooked, the mussles were over cooked and we left the left overs as the sauce was not worth taking home. My daughter got shrimp scampi, the shrimp was over cooked. Seafood wss not meant to have to be cut with a knife. I'm not a big eater but I love great food. I tried the side of sausage just to try something different, wow the worst sausage ever and the sauce over them was al so flat. It was packed and the people seemed to be eating lots of food, pizza all over the place. I spen $140.00 including tip for four people. Good food,, i think not. Also the house wine, well I have had boxed wine that was better. Because you get a lot of food doesen't mean it's a great deal. Give me less and make it memorable. Unfortuanetly my memeories are not great. I drove an hour and a half one way for this experience. The thin crust pizza, it's really good not great I mean if we are being honest here.

The food is good but a little pricey especially the take-out. Because it's downtown the parking is not that great and it's usually pretty busy. For a family style restaurant it's got a nice atmosphere.

The Red Rose makes awesome pizza and Italian dishes. I love to go there when seeing an event across the street at the MassMutual Center (especially Falcons games!). Good food!

Red Rose is a very nice place to go. The food is excellent and the portions are huge. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Red Rose Pizzeria.

The family salad is the best and the prices are great. The pizza is excellent. Worth the drive into Springfield if you live outside the city. Park behind the restaurant, not on the street.

We love Tony & Kathy and the whole crew down at Red Rose. What a great place for a meeting or special function. They really bring on the food with good portions and good taste. The pizza is one of our favorites when we are eating in Springfield. Parking can be a bear.

Red Rose sets the standard for pizza. Downtown isn't convenient for us unfortunately, so we don't go as often as we'd like. But if we're going to the Falcons game, we head out 2 hours earlier and eat here. We've also held parties here and they are very attentive.

My family loves it when we make a trip into Springfield to eat at the Red Rose. The salads are huge and the food is absolutely delicious. I have to agree the calamari is the best!

I absolutely love their calamari! It is always cooked in fresh oil and tastes the best I have had. The kids are always happy since it is spacious enough that they feel free to move around if need be. Great family friendly environment!

Our office had a holiday gathering here this past week. It was wonderful...they made us feel very welcome. The food was very tasty and the atmosphere was perfect. Great job RR Pizza.

My kids loving coming here and watching make the pizza right in from of them. You know everything is fresh. They have a view right into the kitchen. Excellent Italian food. I have never had a bad experience here.

If you are going to a Sprinfield Falcons game make sure you stop at Red Rose and have a house salad along with one of their signature pizzas. Great service and you get to see your pizza made in the kitchen. Make sure to get a sampler platter before your meal to get your appetite in full gear.

This restaurant is a great place anytime to bring a group of friends to have an even better time!

do not leave red rose without ordering the big family style salad. the oil and parmesan is fantastic. great pizza. very large sizes. order the sodas by the pitcher. usually very crowded. terrible parking available. somewhat scary location especially when parking. good spot if you are with a large party. a special banquet room available.

Red Rose Pizzeria has some very good pizza. The restaurant is extremely crowded almost all the time. While I would not recommend the Italian food, there pizza is excellent. As well, their House Salad with their own dressing and Parmesan cheese is a great pairing with the pizza.

Red Rose has been around for a while. There food is good and the pizza is even better. Over the years they have remodeled to keep up with the times. Prices are reasonable and the service it great. I will keep going as long as it is around.

Red Rose Pizzeria has some of the best pizza and pasta dishes around. They're great before a hockey game, but be prepared to wait as they are always busy. The parking lot is small and can be tough to get a spot.

Red Rose is a landmark restaurant in Springfield for many years. It has a back room where you can hold functions and they have the best pizza in the city. You can get pizza to full course dinners. The service is quick and friendly.

Red Rose Pizzeria is a fun place to go for pizza. They also have a full menu of other Italian dishes. There is a glass window where you can watch them making the pizzas. My kids love watch. We have been there several times. Whether we get pizza or a regular dinner we have never been disappointed!

I love Red Rose Pizzeria because it fun and cozy. The food is wonderful. The wait staff is fast and prompt.I have invited many of my family members to dinner at red rose because the menu will even please the picky eaters I know.

Red Rose has great pizza and a very efficient take out window. I never find myself waiting past the time that I am told to arrive to pick up the pizza.

Their dine-in area is a nice family atmosphere and their desserts (especially the pie!) are a fantastic treat after dinner.

Red Rose offers lots of italian dishes including pizza. Restaurant is clean, and service is good. Particularly good is the pizza crust which is different from any other local places I know of.
