Ratings_icons Great Plants, Cute Cafe

Sam F.

I usually just go to Briggs in the spring to buy my plants for the year. Since the new renovation I find myself going there more often since they are becoming more than a garden center with neat gift ideas made by local artisans and a cute cafe. They let you walk around with the food and even have a large screen TV for the kids or husbands to watch if they don't want to stay with you while you browse. They are working on a Conservatory where you can sit and relax. There is no pressure to hurry and the sales staff is always willing to help.

Ratings_icons Best Selection

Don L.

I must admit that Briggs has the best selection anywhere. Healthy plants. I sure wish, however, that I could find San Marzano tomato plants. I cannot seem to find them at anyplace that sells vegetable plants. I fact as you look around, everyone has the same varieties of everything. As if they all come from a common source!

My VIG card is being punched and I am getting there early in the year. Last year I bought a lot of materials at a closer place that had some coupons for 10% off after July 1 or similar date. There was a hook in the offer, however, that 10% deal ran a very short time, so Briggs gets all my business now!

Ratings_icons Great at ANY price

Scott H.

My wife and I keep complaining about the higher prices at Brigg but every year we keep going back spending enough to become a VIG (Very Important Gardener, $500 in purchases in a year) within about a month. You keep going back to Briggs because they understand customer service and are truely a customer oriented company. You actually WANT to pay the higher price to buy from this place.

Briggs is kid friendly too. They have a small play area/animal farm for kids to play in, a display garden with a trainset going through it (my son's favorite) and a sleigh ride at Christmas and Santa to take the kids orders.

This nursery is a little on the pricey side but you can find anything you need here and it worth the extra money. The staff at Brigg's is educated in thier products and plants and can help you find what would go well in your yard and landscaping. I would recommend Briggs to my family and friends.

I did some landscaping in my front yard this past spring and didn't really know what I wanted to do. I went to Briggs Nursery with pictures of the areas I wanted to landscape. They helped me pick out the plants and shrubs that would work best in the areas. I was happy with the selections and after planting them, was very happy with the results. The staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help.

The pricing at Briggs is a little more than your average store or big box, however the quality is above and beyond. As well as all their plants come with a one year warranty for replacement.

The staff can answer ANY question you have over the phone or in person. And they can also come and design a plan for you that works with your landscape.

Briggs is the best nursery all around...and I rarely go anywhere else. When I do I notice the quality of the plants just isn't comparable!

Ratings_icons Great plants!

Briggs Nursery is a nice alternative to a big garden center like Lowe's or Home Depot. They are a little more expensive than the big stores, but the great selection and quality more than make up for the price difference.

They also carry a lot of specialty items such as different fertilizers and tools. The staff is also very knowledgable and friendly.
