I needed a 40,000 mile service on my Honda CRV. The dealers were quoting between $100 and $400+. A local garage quoted a good price and said I could wait while the work was done (1 1/2 hours). But, when I got there at the agreed 8:00 time, they said I would likely have to wait 5 hours. At B & R, no problems: A fair price ($55), job done in a timely manner (about 1 hour) and I trusted the answers I got to the car questions I asked (what I thought might be a problem was not a problem). Bonus: I discovered Sweet Sue's cafe around the corner.

We have a 10-year-old Subaru, and we found B&R through the Subaru Guru (a pretty strong recommendation). We've been really happy with them. They actually came in *under* their own estimate for a semi-major repair, even though it took longer than expected to remove some old seals. What I like most about Paul is that he never tries to sell me stuff or recommend repairs that I don't need. If you want a laid back mechanic who does great work for very reasonable prices, B&R is the place to go.

I found that I could trust them to do what I needed and knew they would not perform unnecessary work. At one point, they could have replaced hoses that were not needed when I asked them to check and replace what was needed. A very friendly group of people. I would tell everyone to go to them.
