relax with a cocktail and listen to the nice jazz and or blues music. good location in downtown springfield. parking can be tough. nice spot for an evening out with a date or a group of friends. look in the local paper for listings of the music.

I used to love to go to Theodores when they had blues music every weekend. They stopped having bands about a year ago, but I heard they are going to start having them again. The food is excellent, best BBQ around. The gumbo is very good and very spicy. I'm not a "bar" kind of person but Theodores is one I will go to because of the blues and the barbeques, even though I don't do the brews!

I always say I am just going for a couple brews and the nachos but I walk out over filled with the bbq. Well worth the drive from anywhere. My favorite is the pulled pork but the ribs are also very good.

This is a great place for pub grub. You can meet your friends here, have a bite to eat, and then socialize over a few cocktails. It has a nice cozy atmosphere.
