In response to "massage or tickle" from christine p. below...You are in control of your massage if you were unhappy with the pressure you should have spoken up. You can not blame the therapist for your lack of communication. The Abundant Wellness Center is a one of a kind place in this area, and everything they offer is wonderful...from the massage to the yoga all the therapists, teachers, and practitioners are well educated and experienced in their field. Nothing at the Abundant Wellness Center is sub-par you can tell the people who work there were carefully picked out and only the best practice there. I had a great massage there and part of the reason for that is that the therapist was open and listened to what I wanted from them, communication is key to a wonderful massage Christine.

Great place for holistic healing products. They have very interesting workshops on a variety of topics. I most enjoyed the massage. Everyone should try it.

I've become a regular at Abundant Wellness, and so has my husband, who has joint and back aches. Debee Boulanger is a dedicated professional and her massages are deep, healing and absolutely wonderful. My husband was a massage therapist and rolfer and thought her massages wouldn't be deep enough for him, but he was happily surprised and speaks very highly of her skills. She really cares about her clients and is always finding ways to expand her services for them and to make sure everything is done in a high quality way. She's always getting new training for herself as a healer. What's more, she's a really nice person.

I went to Abundant Wellness on a "couples massage" coupon. $80 would get us both massaged and hopefully relaxed and happy.
However, the massage therapists barely kneaded tight muscles, instead stroking gently, which felt more like tickling than a massage. I've had massages before and come out relaxed, but I didn't feel so relaxed after this one. I'm reluctant to go back again.
Another thing that bothers me about Abundant Wellness: they seem to be trying too hard to be everything to everyone, which makes me wonder if, like the massage, everything else they offer is sub-par.

Super nice people...cozy environment

I just thoroughly have enjoyed my experiences here. I thought i would be self conscious during my first ever massage in November due to my weight but I was put so at ease it never entered my mind! It felt kinda like a cross between a doctors visit and a cup of tea with my sister. It was in no way super serious where i felt i couldn't talk during it or felt shy about saying hey its too much there! We actually laughed a bit and i felt 100% respected at all times!! Ive also attended a few classes and have just encountered some really nice down to earth genuine people. Nothing stuffy about the people or environment like other places ive been in the area with "big names".
Pros: people, vibe, professionalism, lots of stuff on the calendar to be a part of, a positive space
Cons: space is a bit tight at times but its cozy & everyone has a good sense of humor about space issues
