Learning Circle Childcare, LLC

I am a parent of a bi-racial child who attends the Learning Circle. We enjoy and value the diverse group of staff and families there. Julie, the director, provides a healthy and caring environment for everyone to grow. I have spent many a snack time with my child in the classroom and can attest to this school providing healthy snacks. If you are looking for a great school for your child this is the place!

As one of the administrators of the Learning Circle I would like to say that the Director demonstrates exceptional qualities in her handling of the day to day operation of our childcare facility. She is a warm, generous, caring person who is always available to help the teachers and children in any way she can. She possesses a surmountable knowledge of state regulations and has created a diverse atmosphere that welcomes everyone, an environment where the teachers feel wanted and appreciated, the children feel happy, confident and safe and the parents know that they are getting top quality care. Our diverse and talented group of teachers are creative, experienced, detailed, loving individuals who put the children first in every way.
One of my responsibilities is purchasing items for the Learning Circle and I can assure you that I buy the highest quality fruit, vegetables and snacks for the students which all meet the Dept. of Early Education and Care guidelines.

As the Assistant Director of The Learning Circle, I am proud and more than happy to say that we offer an above average program. Our number one priority is the health, safety and overall exceptional care of children. The Learning Circle is a center well staffed with a diverse, warm group of knowledgeable teachers. The Director, Julie, consistently provides a welcoming and warm environment for students, parents and staff. She always encourages calls or emails and is always willing to address any questions or concerns, no matter the urgency. The Learning Circle without fail provides a loving and enriching program to every child enrolled.

This is a response to the "anon" above who wrote that the Yellow room gets special treatment. My child has been in the orange room since it opened and we love the school. Yes, two teachers did leave due to MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. They both have visited since and have plans to return to the school . I stay in contact with them and they have wonderful things to say about The Learning Circle.
All the classrooms at The Learning Circle are new, beautiful and well kept. All of the teachers are consistent, educated and outgoing. The children do very well and enjoy the school. Overall, we highly recommend the school.

If you sent your kids to pre-school, make sure you send him/her to the Yellow room, not Orange room. Yellow Room gets special treatment: the toys better, the teacher never changes.

In the last one year, orange room changed 5 teachers, including one that transfered to yellow room.

In the last one year, Director Julie has not been working in the classroom. Maybe only once a month she is in the classroom.

But the new building is nice, long term teachers are generally nice.

I have to agree with anonymous the director Julianne has not been there at all times and she should be. Some of the teachers are very nice. The director should be on site from opening to closing at all times. I do like the new building too I think in general for all teachers of children Random drug test should be done and Backround check done more than once...

The Learning Circle Preschool has great teachers; however it seems as if the director is yet to work a full day since my son has been in the program which has been for almost two years.

The Learning Circle Preschool has a wonderful program and the teachers have been there since my son has been in the program, which has been over a year. The teachers are young, fun, caring and very energetic. This school is fabulous!

The Learning Circle has a great staff. They are loving and warm. They teach the children a lot through fun activities. I enjoyed the years my child attended The Learning Circle in Somerville and highly recommend this school.

I must rebut the statement above by anonymous regarding the director not working a full day. Both myself and my coworkers have had our children in The Learning Circle and Juliane's care for over five years. She opens the school every morning, works a full day and puts all her energy into the school .
