I love the smells of the fresh breads and fresh everything in this place. I just had cookies but they were very good.

I used to live on Columbus Ave. and would stop in the Nashoba Brook Bakery Cafe on my days off or going to and from school. Their cookies are to die for and their bread is wonderfully fresh. They also have good salad choices for vegetarians like myself. Everything is reasonably priced, especially for the quality. It can be quite busy but the service is excellent.
PROS: Fresh baked goods, tasty salad and lunch meats
CONS: None

I know quite a few people who work in the gourmet food business and they all say that Nashoba Brook is, hands down, the best bakery in Boston. After going there, I would have to agree. The counter staff is very friendly and patient. Their Italian pastries are outstanding and I think their donuts are also very tasty. Lines on the weekend can get long if you don't get there early enough in the day.

The Nashoba Brook Bakery has very good French pastries, but the sandwiches they sell are to die for! I am a creature of habit and always get a turkey sandwich. It is without a doubt the best turkey sandwich around. They use premium meats and make their own bread at the bakery which is awesome. They also sell salads and soups. I have never tried either, but I have been told they are also great. The service is always speedy and the people who work there are friendly. The prices are fair. It is sometimes crowded here at lunchtime. It is worth it though.
PROS: Awesome food
CONS: crowded at times
