All around superb. Excellent service, great wine list, cozy neighborhood restaurant feel, a great meal. A little far removed from everything - but if you're a land-lover and have a vehicle then you'll be fine.

Unless you like eating very tiny amounts for a gigantic price, then this place is not for you. A friend and I dined here. We each had an appetizer and a glass of wine. The bill was almost $100 and we hardly ate anything. While the wine was very good, it was also terribly overpriced. The food we ordered was pate and they charged us for extra bread. While this might be customary in parts of Europe, it's an odd practice for a place near the Boston Common.

Les Zygomates is everything you would expect a very good bistro in France to be- but in the heart of downtown Boston's financial district. Decorated tastefully with black and white tile floors and walls that are lined with wine corks, it is a very popular destination among the power-lunchers in the area.
Les Zygomates serves very good French-inspired dishes like pressed sandwiches, seafood, and chicken with traditional French preparation methods. The extensive wine list is one of the best selections in town and the restaurant often hosts tastings (for a small price) of their finest offerings accompanied by delicious appetizers.
PROS: Downtown location, good French food, extensive wine list
CONS: Slightly pricey
