Amaci Salon is great. The owner is an expert with color and I always leave there happy with the color and cut. For the best experience try to go on a weekday to avoid the busy times, but either way I would highly recommend this salon for a great cut and amazing color.

I started going to Amaci in April of this year....and have been back twice since. My experiance has been fantastic in all aspects. They are very accomidating with appointments, very knowledgable on products along a great haircut and advise on what styling would work best!!! Amad is who has cut my hair and I would highly recommend him...whether you are male or female. You cannot go wrong!!!!!

If you?re looking for style and professional haircut, Amaci Salon is the way to go. Don?t hesitate to go and try it out yourself. it is a great experience. First the locaion and the parking are so easy . amad and the people at amaci salon are so friendly . I heard so much about it I had to go . Amad gave me amazing highlits with a perfect looking brown lowlights with a model looking bangs that i have been looking for and no one was able to do it . Now that I've found Amaci salon, I won't go anywhere else! The haircuts are amazing (I always get compliments on my hair), the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is hip but laid-back, and the staff is very friendly. I'm moving to New York next summer but may very well come up to Boston for my cuts!

I was there for hair services with a coupon and as soon as they saw my coupon their behaviour changed. You should ask the price and what the coupon includes upfront, otherwise they can charge you more although there is not any specific information on the coupon!!! Other than that, coloring is nice but cut is not that good. Location is easy, products are average..

I have been getting my hair cut by Ryan for over 6 years now and followed him from his last salon to Amaci. Every single hair cut and color have been so wonderful that when I moved to Florida I flew to Boston just to see Ryan. Ryan takes the time to learn your hair and your style before taking out a pair of scissors or the color. He never rushes through a cut or color and makes sure that you're happy with your new look before you leave. Make an appointment with Ryan and you won't leave dissappointed, just make sure to take a few business cards with you because you friends will want to know who did such a great job on your hair!!!!!!

I have been going to Amad for at least six years now and have sent everyone I know. He knows exactly what will look best without you having to ask and expects the same perfection from the other stylists. I am very protective of my hair and would not take it to anyone but him. Despite the location it is quite easy to get to and the parking validation is great. The bottom line is that I leave feeling like a model and what more could you ask for?

Amaci Salon is a friendly enviornment yet very hip. Everyone is very nice and accomodating. Amad has been cutting, styling and coloring my hair for years and I would never trust anyone else. Even when I am a little hesitant to try something new he talks me into it (yet not pressure) and I end up loving it. He really knows how to match a person's facial features and personality to a hair style and cut. My hair ends up looking so healthy and beautiful. I would never trust anyone else with a pair of scissors to my hair or a bottle of dye for that matter. The products amaci salon uses are the best as well. Amad is truly amazing along with the entire staff of Amaci. Also, the salon offers threading services which is a great choice for hair removal and getting a precise shape for your eyebrows. I highly recommend Amaci Salon for superb quality and great treatment.

These guys didn't just cut my hair, they designed it. Because of my thin, straight hair, designing it is rather hard and I usually get the exact same haircut no matter where I go. The atmosphere was great and I it was like being among friends. The haircut was definitely something modern, so I can visit the clubs as well as look normal in the office.
Definitely worth the trip there.

I've been coming into Boston from Cape Cod for more than 2 years now to have my hair done by Amad. He always has done a fantastic job, always exceeding my expectations. The staff are also very friendly, and I always feel very welcome and very comfortable as if I was almost family now. I sincerly recommend their services to anyone, as I have seen first hand some of their incredible work on some of the other clients. The whole experience has always been worth the trip.

I dont about any price when you get great service by amad . The best make over in years since I moved from miami . I went to the owner of Amaci salon after I heard good things . Its such beautiful salon. amazing stuff and great atmosphere . Amad gave me a gorgeous spring blonde color and a perfect cut and I got my eyebrows shaped beautifully. Honesty , I dont Know what the last review is all about .It had to be a JOKE. The service and the price put a bigggggggggg smile on my face when i walk out .It wasnt even 200 . I will recommend AMACI SALON to every person loves her or his look.... PS . I think the last reviwer should check her wallet again. The price list on AMACI web site and that is one of the reasons I end up there...

Rosemary is the best! I've been getting my hair cut and colored by her since I moved to Boston in 2000 after a friend recommended her to me... She is very personable, always listens to what you want, makes great suggestions, knows what going to look good or not ? I always leave feeling like a million bucks? The new salon she is at, Amaci, is easily accessible by T or car. Everyone there is really friendly.

Amaci Salon is a truly a great hair experience. I've been coming to Amaci since it opened and have had nothing but positive experiences! The staff is attentive to details, courteous and always happy to accomodate your needs. Ahmad is a great stylist. When coloring hair, he always has just the right blends and knows what style fits my hair and profile. I would recommend Amaci to anyone!

Rosemary gives haircuts and she does colour and highlights beautiully. I've had highlighted hair for about 3 years and the highlights she gave me were the best. She made my highlights very subtle and elegant. She has a very good sense of what looks good on people so now I basically leave it up to her. I don't style my hair and she gives me great haircuts that are stylish and they grow out very well too. I think I've been spoilt becuase I don't think I can get my eyebrows done by anyone else ever again- I love the way she shapes them!

My cousin has been going to Rosemary for a while and followed her from Rosemary's previous salon because she's evidently that good! I recommended Rosemary to a friend of mine and she was thrilled with the haircut and highlights.

Ask for Rosemary!!

A little over 4 years ago, I walked into Amaci Salon looking for a great stylist, and I found just that! I've lived in Boston for 8 years and always jumped from salon to salon never 100% satisfied. When I walked into Amaci and met Amad, I knew I had found a great stylist! I had longer hair at the time and when I told Amad that I was ready for something new and different, he knew exactly what would look great on me. When I left there, I felt like a million dollars! That evening, I headed right to a holiday party with friends and when I walked in, everyone raved about how wonderful my hair looked! My experience at Amaci has always been top notch! Amad is very personable and is always wanting to make his clients feel right at home! He is very skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to cuts AND coloring, and he is always eager to bring my hair and my color back to life! I consider myself to be a very picky person when it comes to my hair, and I can ALWAYS trust Amad to make it look great! I never had a consistent stylist - I was always looking for someone better, but now I can safely say that I have found the BEST! Thanks Amad!

I came in with a coupon for a $30 haircut. Upon seeing the coupon they immediately started treating me differently than the other customers. The shampoo girl basically just poured shampoo on my head and washed it out, not even bothering to rub it in. And the hair stylist cut my hair so quickly and carelessly that the cut took five minutes and I ended up covered in hair, while the whole time he was bragging about how good he is and pressuring me to get my color done. The cut looks fine but I felt really disappointed with the lack of hospitality. The place has gotten great reviews so I'm sure if you're a regular customer they treat you wonderfully and maybe they do a fantastic coloring job. But don't go in with a coupon and expect stellar service.

Rossmary is a color/highlight genius! She does a full foil in record time and you can tell she knows exactly what she is doing and what the outcome will be. I constantly have people asking me where I get my hair done and have sent a number of friends to her and they all love her too. She is very willing to listen to exactly what you want but if you have a rediculously crazy idea she'll voice her opinion very professionally. The price is spot on for the quality and service and a little less than other salons in the area. Highly Recommended!

Amad is truly a genius when it comes to creating hairstyles that suit your lifestyle. His hair prowess far exceeded my every expectation when I came to Boston 8 years ago and he has been my stylist ever since. He transformed my dull locks into healthy hair through his recommended styling products which he carries right in his store at reasonable prices. What a difference he has made! He not only has an amazing personality but he has a great sense of what's hot and what looks will work for you. It takes the stress out of getting a new cut because I always know the result will be perfect and I don't have to spend hours scouring magazines for new styles to try out. I can't say enough about Amad. I recommend his work as a perfect 10.

Amal is a WONDERFUL person and she does an exceptional job at cutting and fixing hair up. I am NEVER disapointed after getting my hair done. She is also very good with kids when cutting their hair as well as before and after their hair cuts. She gave both of my boys their first haircuts and after we leave each time they can't wait until we go back again. I am very LUCKY to have met such a GREAT person

i LOVE my hair removal by thread ( it was my face and my moustache as well). No more shaving is just a miracle. The treatment is not very uncomfortable and Anna explains everything as she goes. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the wonderful products they offer. I highly recommend making an appointment.

I followed my stylist from her old salon, which closed a few months ago. I didn't want to find someone new because she knew exactly what I wanted each time I went in for a cut, and I have never been disappointed over the 6 years I've been going to her. My experience was no less at Amaci - great location downtown, easy to park or take the T. Very friendly atmosphere and the same great cut.

Amad is the best... I first went to Amaci after a horrible cut at another (highly-rated) Boston salon. Amad not only fixed my cut, but he made me look great! And, the price for a cut and full foil was very reasonable, especially with the 20% discount for first-timers. I've just gone back for my second cut and I couldn't be happier. I waited until the Monday before Thanksgiving to make an appointment and was grateful to book time for a cut the next day. Somehow, in the time he had reserved for a cut, Amad managed to give me a full foil, one process color and a glossifying treatment. And the result is awesome! I've had more compliments on this color than any other. I hope I never have to go to another salon... Amad is the best!

Rossmary has cut my hair for the past 10 years or so. She has helped me through growing my hair, cutting it short again, and doing it all over again. She makes sure I look good every step of the way. I always leave happy with my haircut. She always remembers the different styles and lengths and I only have to say, cut it the same as last time but a bit longer, and she does! Or she suggests changes that are always right on. Rossmary pays attention to details and takes the time necessary to make your haircut just right. I don't feel like I'm just a number and she's rushing to finish and move onto the next client. The price is reasonable and everyone is super friendly and smiling every time I go in.

Since moving to Boston I have gotten my hair cut and colored with Amad at Amaci. The envioronment there is amazing!! Amad is creative and really know what type of cut suits your needs and that accents your facial features. He knows how to pick out highlight color that is subtle yet amazing! I highly reccomend this salon. Also their waxing services are exactly what I was looking for. I've had my hair done by Rossmary for the past 6 years and I never leave the salon with any complaints. She is highly skilled in coloring & cutting & is extremely nice.
