Great atmosphere, cool people working there. Mariam is very skilled with facials, waxing etc. She always does a very good job. Amaad, the owner, is probably the best hair stylist in Boston. I am also always pleased with how he colors my hair. All of the clients look gorgeous after walking out of his salon. He takes his job so seriously. Truly, talent shines at this top notch salon.

Amad cut my hair and I was so pleased! A friend referred my boyfriend, and then I went too. Amad was the only person in town who gave my boyfriend an even haircut. Now it looks great! So I decided to try it out.

I was very pleased with Amaci. Amad cut my hair. I wasn't sure what kind of cut I wanted, and Amad gave me great ideas. The best part is I love the cut! Amad worked quickly and with attention to detail. Very impressive! He even recommended a styling glaze that actually works -- my hair felt so soft. I walked out feeling gorgeous!

I started going to Ryan for my hair a little over a year ago at Hair FX and without a doubt followed him to Amaci because he is a HAIR GOD! I highly recommend him, not only does he do great cut and colors, but he is so funny and going is just a good time. I always look forward to my appointments! Amaci was a great move for him to, it has a great atmosphere and great staff!

Amad always does an awesome job on my hair. The color and the cut are perfect! I have been going to Amaci for over 2 years, and I always leave happy. The staff is very friendly, and I think Amaci Salon is the best! :)

Amad, the owner of Amaci Salon, is one of the most talented colorists I have ever been to. I have not found another hair dresser that has impressed me so consistently with both color and cuts. I highly recommend him!

I was incredibly nervous going for the first time to a new hairdresser, but Ahmad at Amaci salon was recommended to me by a frend who wouldn't stop raving about him. I was incredibly happy with the value and Ahmad made me feel very comfortable right from the start. I went in to get a cut and came out with a wonderful cut and FABULOUS color!

AMAL is the best hair colorist i've ever had. What she can do with color some others cannot. She is such a great hair stylist with so much talent is design and styling. I recomend all my friends to her and they are all always very happy with her work. Her styles and colors definitely turn heads in town. Amaci is a great place with awesome staff that works there. I work in the public health field and Amaci Salon has time and time again donated their discounts and gift certificates to our cause to help the Boston community stay healthy. AMAL and AMAD you guys are the Best.

Amad is sooooo amazing, my cut and color look so fantastic, the staff are great, friendly & welcoming, Dominic is darling! My only regret is not finding out about Amaci sooner, don't waste your time or money going anywhere else!!

I am a convert from Hair Fx Studio where almost 3 years ago I started having my haircut cut by Ryan. Recently he moved to Amaci, which I think it is a great salon and very convenient--a great move for him. Ryan always does awesome color (this time coppery red and blond) on my hair and is a blast to talk to while he works. Even my husband comes along to chat from time to time while Ryan works his magic. The staff seems friendly and the salon is nice and intimate. The parking garage is right next door and very reasonable. Visit the salon and ask for Ryan!

Amaci Salon is a very well-run and personable salon. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the environment is bright and comfortable. Amal has cut and colored my hair twice. She did a fabulous job and really seems to enjoy what she does. I will continue to go to Amal at Amaci, and recommend their services to anyone.

I have to thank one of my girlfriends for recommending me to Amad at Amaci Salon. He does an excellent job, not just with the way he cuts my hair, but the color as well. If you can go in and get a full foil and walk out w/ your hair looking heathier after, you know you have found someone that knows how to highlight hair without damaging it. I have really fine hair and most salons in the past over-processed which lead to breakage, not w/ Amad. It comes out so silky soft and shiny. I highly reccommend checking this place out. They also validate parking in a garage right next door. Prices are reasonable, you can't beat it.

I am so pleased to have found Amaci. It's a top-notch salon, and yet everyone there is very friendly, not at all snooty. The prices are reasonable (I hope they stay that way when the word gets out). In addition to being really talented, Dominic is perhaps the nicest/sweetest stylist I have ever been to. It's always a pleasure--and my hair looks better than every (really)!

Great high end salon with taletented artists. I have frequented this salon since its opening. Amad creates a welcoming atmosphere. He is a talented beautician and offers excellent coloring and cutting abilities. So glad I live so close!

I started going to Amaci about 2 years ago and have never been more impressed. I was so happy about my hair that I actually took a photo if it. I like to change my hair a lot and have no reservations about letting them do whatever they think will look good. I've never been disappointed with their styles.

I've been a client of Amad's for about 4 years, after falling in love with a colleague's haircut. Amad has a gift with color (I have grey hair and dark roots, although you'd think I was a sunkissed blonde) and his cuts are always stylish yet easy to work with at home. He is a blast to watch (think Edward Scissorhands) and I can't tell you how many people ask who does my hair. The best!

I have lived in Boston for almost two years. I have been jumping around salons, not really finding a hair stylist that I have been very happy with. I was referred to Amad by a friend, and I will never use another stylist again! Amad has so much skill, and he strives for perfection. You will never meet anyone else who knows what you want done with your hair, even when you don't! He takes his time, never makes you feel uncomfortable, and gives great advice. Every time I walk out of his salon, I feel like a million dollars. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair! Boston is so lucky to have such an amazing salon!

Amaci salon is great- convenient location and friendly staff.

Amal has cut my hair twice and always does a great job: I hardly have to tell her what I want and it turns out looking great! She spends quality time on cutting and styling- usually around 1 hour... so you know you're getting a quality cut. She knows what she's doing! Highly recommended.

This is the place! If you want creativity, service and the look, Amaci is the place for you! I have been Ahmad's loyal customer since 1998. You don't even need to have an idea of what you want to do with your hair, he will give you a recomendation. He does the best color and cut in Boston! He will even validate your parking at Radisson. Highly recommend!

My friends and I have all been Amad's loyal customers for over 3 years. He's worked hard in Boston and opened up his own salon, Amaci, a few years ago. He's done an amazing job with the salon, from customer service to efficiency, and of course great styling. He's the only one who has ever highlighted my hair, he's the best to consult! Also, he knows Boston so you can ask him anything about nightlife to restaurants. His salon could be one of the best on Newbury, but it stands out for its theater district location, and parking at the Radisson for $3 is a great deal. Go to Amad for any consults for any type of hair-- he's the only stylist who knows how to cut asian hair!
