So as one can imagine a cigar bar in the Back Bay is going to have a men's club type of feel with sexy servers. It's dark, wooden runs long into a smallish backroom with sunken, leather couches and flatscreen tvs. Wines by the glass are nice, but of course overpriced. They have a respectable beer list with some nice american microbrew and belgian choices. The servers weren't all on the ball but, can't be blamed for giving more attention to the men in suits buying the $56 cigars then the two young women smoking american spirits and asking if the bartender could open a new bottle of cotes du rhone b/c the other was corked.

I have to say that this is kind of a weird place. But with that said, there is no other place in Boston like it. One thing I have noticed is that there are never any women in this store, ever. It's more of a guys hangout type of place. It's very ritzy, but my boyfriend goes here after sox games in all of his game day attire. Once I got him a gift certificate here and he was pretty excited about it. I recommend that for girls who want to impress the men in their lives.

Cigar Master may not look like your typical cigar shop. That is because it is not your typical cigar and smoke shop. When you walk in there is a humidor brimming with expensive stogies but there is also a low-lit bar and a ton of leather couches. Smokers can even track their investments on monitors that flicker through a haze of blue smoke.
