Mamma Maria Restaurant

Unfortunately we used this to host a dinner after a funeral, but the food was fantastic and they were very accommodating. The parking is scarce, small lot close by, but three of our party received tickets. The city did wave the tickets when we showed them it was for a wake, that was nice. But I would recommend this place to friends.

One of North Boston's finest restaurants. I was there two years ago and had rabbit. It was the best I have every had and would go back in a heartbeat. Make reservations in advance.

My boyfriend took me here for our first "real" date. He had reservations so we got a cute little table right by the window on the second floor. The lighting was dim and very romantic. The atmosphere outweighed the food, which was not the best North End food I've had but not bad either. (When he took me back here for our 6 month anniversary we had a bad experience with our waitor, but I'll still go back.)

Overall, it's a great atmosphere and an excellent North End experience.

I hosted our Company Holiday Party at Mamma Maria this winter and couldnt have been happier. The atmosphere was so classy and upscale, yet comfortable. The wait staff was alert and accomodating and the food was AWESOME! I have been meaning to go back for another dinner.

It's easy to make a reservation with Open Table. You get points for a future check. It's not much, but it's easy and simple to do. I had ZERO wait time for my reservation. My table was wating for me. Food was great and service was fabulous. Big plus....valet parking. We all know how difficult it is to park there!
