I need to go back to the museum soon. It has such a wonderful selection of art pieces, sculptures and history. They also have a little cafe if you get hungry and a nice little gift shop

A wonderful world renowned Museum with permenant collections as well as travelling exhibits. A great place to spend a day and still not see it all. Not a cheap experience but membership can be worth the money and student and seniors get discounts. I think if you get your parking ticket validated you get a parking discountSome days thorughopu the year, like the upcoming Columbus day holiday, are free admission. A wonderful cafe, food is excellent, but again, not cheap. The gift shop is also wonderful.

The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the best museums in the counrty. They have hundreds of exhibits each year. They keep up to date with the art world around them. They allow students at near by colleges enter for free. To the public there is a small charge though. The Museum is open on Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m.-4:30, Weds-Friday 10 a.m. til 9:30 and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. till 9: 30. Included with general admission is a full-day access to all open galleries (except ticketed exhibitions), one free repeat visit to the MFA's collections within ten days, free Guided Tours, free Gallery Talks and admission to the bookstore and shop, bravo restaurant, and remis auditorium.

The museum is a cultural institution in Boston. There are always exhibits traveling through the museum that are 9 times out of 10 worth the time and money. My favorite thing about the MFA is First Fridays, where the first Friday of every month they have a party in one of the wings complete with live jazz and multiple bars. It is such a nice atmosphere, and the crowd is always a lot of fun. As a student, I really appreciate the student discount as well.
