Gross food and even worse service!

We are year round locals. We ate at gringos today and it was AWFUL. We ordered appetizers. The waitress brought out the appetizer plate, with no plates for us to eat on. Twice we had to request plates to eat off of. The quesadilla appetizer filled the plate it came on and how how were we expected to share it of that one plate it was served on? Furthermore, we ordered the steak quesadilla. All it was, was ground burger meat with some cheese on it. Nothing else what so ever! No tomato, no sour cream, no lettuce, no onion, nothing! We had to ask for sour cream and were given one small tear open container of it. It was a steak quesadilla with no steak, I assumed a Mexican restaurant could serve a proper Quesadilla, but I guess not. Furthermore, when we asked to take our left overs home, why I don't even know why we wanted them, she put our dirty plates and napkins on top of the quesadilla she was taking to wrap up!! That was absolutely disgusting! We should have known when we sat down and table was sticky and had old corn on it, it was time to choose elsewhere! The staff could have cared less. With all the options on Main Street, please don' waste your time or money on this dump. They do not even have a website in case you want to discuss with the owner what happened. AWFUL!

I like sitting out on the sidewalk cafe sipping drinks and eating appetizers watching the people go by. A fun place to hang out, laid back, inexpensive.

My husband and I went to Gringo's on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside. We had to wait ages for everything. We waited for menus, we waited for our drinks, we waited for food for long periods of time and wondering "Where is our food?". I paid $2.75 for a can of soda. A can of soda I could have walked across the street for. The prices for non-alcoholic beverages is not listed on their menu. The food was horrible, so bad that I felt like walking out and should have.

Cons: Food was horrible, service was nonexistent

Atmosphere is wonderful. We really enjoyed dining outside watching the steet scape on Main street. The menu had many low cost items of Mexican fare and fresh local seafood. The lobster dinner was reasonably priced and many items were $10-12. Family friendly restaurant with many kid items on the menu. Recommend Gringos highly. Don't miss out on this place on your trip to Cape Cod.

Pros: outdoor dining, homemade margaritas

The service was AWFUL, second only to the food. The food was repulsive - not edible. There was brown lettece in the bottom of our "guacalmole" dip. The fajitas, which arrived 20 min after the other dishes, were limp and tasteless. The pizza was undercooked and soggy and looked like it was crafted by a five year old. The burrito forced its consumer to the rest room for the duration of the night. I understand that bad food happens to nice restaurants. When we reported the issue to the manager he informed us that there was nothing he could do and then proceeded to laugh in merriment with waitstaff - averting his eyes as we walked out. The entire experience (costing more than 85 dollars) left a very bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). Needless to say - i would only send my worst enemy to this restaurant.

Pros: Great Deck, Location

Cons: Food, Service, Everything but Locale

.

Outdoor patio with indoor dining and deck up top. Great spot to watch people shopping on Main St. Small parking lot in rear, large lot across street. Great drinks, margaritas, over 40 tequilas to choose from. Dos Equis on tap. Decent food at very fair prices. Typically American and Mexican dishes. Burgers and nachos, etc. Family friendly or romantic enough for a light date.
