Le Mani Day Spa

I have been coming to Le Mani regularly for five years for facials, which are OUTSTANDING - no other spa can compete with Le Mani as far as the quality and value of the Customized Facial.

I don't often get massage, but this week I decided to treat myself to an hour massage followed by the Ionic Foot Bath (I have been doing a cleansing diet in prep for the holidays!).........Gail the owner suggested I have the "Ashiatsu" massage. The Massage Therapist, Karen showed me the bars on the ceiling that she supports and adjusts her weight, and explained that she would be "standing" on my back, using her feet to massage. It was amazing! I couldn't believe that it was actually her feet she was using - the pressure was wonderfully deep and felt so good. She used traditional hand movements as well and finished the massage on the face and scalp which I love. It made me wonder why I don't do this more often.

The Ionic footbath was very interesting - it detoxes and was a good combination with the massage. I couldn't believe what the water looked like at the end. I feel great and am definately going to put a Le Mani gift card on my holiday wish list :)

I have been a patron for the past 8 years and have loved every single Le Mani Day Spa experience!

Gail - who is the owner and provides facials - has incredible skin care knowledge and passion for what she does. Gail customizes each facial to respond to the current state of my skin so that I leave the Spa with my face feeling wonderful and hydrated. Also what I love about Le Mani is that the Spa is always introducing innovative approaches to skin care.

In addition to facials, Le Mani offers an outstanding line of at-home skin care products, excellent eyebrow shaping and divine massages. Le Mani is truly a gem outside of Boston that provides a relaxing and rejuvenating day spa experience.

After years of problem skin, expensive dermatologists and prescriptions that didn't work, I decided to try something different. I found Le Mani Day Spa on the web and it changed my life! Gail helped repair years of damage to my skin, and developed a completely personalized (and effective!) skin care regimen for me. I recommend Le Mani for anyone who has wasted money and time on skincare products and services that don't work. Gail and her staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and personable. The spa is clean, comfortable and tranquil. It is a unique experience each and every time. Thanks to Gail and Le Mani, my problem skin was fresh and clear for my wedding day... and every day since!

Le Mani the best place for skin care around. It is only about 15 minutes north of the city and you can easily find parking nearby. Their expertise is skin care and they are committed to only the best products (only chemical free) and techniques. They recently got a microdermabrasion machine that does wonders for the skin. It is especially useful for teens whose skin cannot handle harsh peels, but it has really made a difference on my skin and I am 31. They also do massage, threading, waxing and chemical peels. I have been to Bella Sante for several facials and they cannot compare to Le Mani.

Gail, the owner, is so committed and caring to her customers and her services it is unreal. She promotes personalized service. She is constantly updating her services to include the best products and techniques/machines. I started going there 7 years ago with very bad skin ? I had been going to dermatologist for years ? nothing helped my skin until I started going to Le Mani. Through regular facials, my skin has been amazing and it is well worth the cost. Whether people go for a one time appointment for a special occasion or go more regularly, they were surely recognize what a fabulous place it is and come away with better skin.

Every facial I have got has been specialized to my current needs including peels and masks to cater my needs. Le Mani is a lovely spa. This is not a spa that is stuffy or impersonal like many others that I have been to. Gail is the owner and is extremely knowledgable about skin and caring for skin.
She is very innovative and always researching what is new in the skincare world. If a new product or service is beneficial she brings it to her customers...for example, the first place that I ever saw the Clarisonic machine, or micro current was at LeMani. Now that I have discovered LeMani, I will not go elsewhere. You can really tell that Gail's clients all feel this way as well.

This spa is the cutest little place! Its small and cozy and you always feel welcome because they remember you by name. There is a massage therepist named Adelaide and she is amazing, I go to see her on a regular basis! The service is exceptional. The spa is very clean. The staff are very friendly! I would reccomend this spa to anyone!

I found Le Mani Spa on Citysearch and decided to try it after reading the reviews. I'm glad I did. ADerli is one of the best sports massage therapists I've experienced. After one treatment I decided to come back for once-a-week treatments. I just had my second treatment, and it was as good as the first one. I'm hooked.

LeMani is a great retreat. The owner, Gail has gone to great lengths to provide an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. From the moment you enter the spa, it is serene and calming. You are greeted by friendly staff while taking in the subtle aromatherapy with soothing music playing in the background. The estheticians are professionals in every sense- their knowledge of products, skin care and service. They offer a variety of services..... my favorite is the customized facial.
I have been going to LeMani since my friends gave me a gift certificate for my birthday over 2 years ago. It was the best gift ever!

I went to La Mani Day Spa because my regular salon was not able to fit me in on short notice. The massage I received at La Mani was so amazing that I have canceled my membership at the other place. This is very difficult to do because we develop nice relationships with clinicians. But, I really had no choice given how pain free and stress free I was after the massage.

The attention to detail, knowledge of skin treatments and products, and pampering at LeMani is THE BEST! Gail and Kim are professionals who truly want your experience and results to be beyond compare. They are more than happy to supply product samples so that you can be sure of the results before committing a lot of cash. Between treatments, they're available to answer questions and to help with issues (I have very sensitive, reactive skin). They are really terrific!

Le Mani is not a large Spa with locker rooms and showers and relaxation areas, but it can't be beat for top quality treatments. The decor is warm and inviting and the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Kim has been doing my facials regularly and a visit with her leaves my skin glowing and spirits revived. I appreciate all the little touches and effort she goes to making every treatment something I look forward to and savor. My skin has never looked so good -Thank you Kim!

I have been going to Le Mani Day Spa for over a year now. I was first introduced after my sisters gave me a gift certificate for a facial for my birthday. I had never had a facial before so I was a little bit hesitant about going. I finally made the appt. and went and was extremely happy. Gail has been fantastic. She always explains what she is going to do and always has a plan. I have been seeing her for a series of peels and many of my friends, family and coworkers have noticed a change in my skin.

The atmosphere of the Le Mani Day Spa is very relaxing and welcoming. All of Gail's employees are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the Le Mani Day Spa to anyone who is looking for spa services.

I have been going to LeMani Day spa for over a year, it was recommended by a friend and I can truly say there is nowhere else that compares to their service. From the moment you walk in the door, the welcome and relaxed atmosphere is second to none. The facials are wonderful, Gail is a gem and the most gentle human being. My first wax at another Spa was a horrible experience - very sensitive skin with red marks, lots of hair left behind and left very sticky afterwards. I was beside myself. Then I was recommended to come to Kim. She is great - so thorough and does a terrific job in half the time. She also uses a different wax for the bikini area which is MUCH better. Now I book my next appointment before I leave because she gets so busy. I highly recommend Kim - Le Mani is lovely!

I have been going to Le Mani for about 10 months now and Gail has helped me tremendously with my skin. I have struggled with acne for years and she really helped clear up my skin. Gail is very knowledgable about her products and she is such a sweetheart. Everyone at Le Mani is very friendly and they make you feel right at home. I have had regular facials for 12+ years, and after experiencing the high priced, and trendy Newbury spa's as well as some of the high end spa's in other suburban towns, I have found one of the best --- Gail, the owner at Le Mani Day Spa in Winchester Center is excellent! Gail knows skin and she does such a thorough job. My skin feels so great after a facial with her -- and this feeling lasts for several weeks after. So if you are looking to really take care of your skin Le Mani is the place. The line of skin care products used is excellent and no one tries to push product on you. However, the prices are competitive and the staff are very knowledgeable to get you what your skin needs. This is a very clean, cute day spa. It's worth the trip if you live out of Winchester.

European facials at Le Mani are the most thorough and effective that I've ever had done. The estheticians are knowledgable about the science of skin, as well as the art of maintaining a beautiful complexion. Not a single pore goes unextracted, and the feeling upon leaving the spa is truly refreshing. Only the best products are used, and regimens are customized to your own skin type-- I've never had a problem with irritation, even with extremely sensitive skin. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone, and will continue to receive treatments at Le Mani.

I am a new client of LeMani - a co-worker gave me a gift certificate which I did not use immediately because I had a salon that I had been going to for years. Every day I would comment on her skin and how good it looked especially for her age (50). I finally made my appointment with Gail and regreted that I did not go to her sooner! Her knowledge and techniques are the best I have experienced so far (58). It is a salon for any age group!

I've had facials at all kinds of places, from store fronts to day spas to expensive destination spas, and the ones I've had with Gail here are truly the best. As others have said, not only is she clearly so knowledgeable, but also she treats you like royalty. From the "serious" skin treatments to the little extras like hand massages, it's all done well, and you feel like a queen. The experience is definitely worth the price.

Going to LeMani for my day of beauty is the best gift I can receive for any occasion. It is total relaxation if I want or great conversation! I recently went to a spa on vacation and the estetician commented on the condition of my an skin and how good it looked for someone who likes the sun. She asked me what I use for products - Environ which I can only purchase from LeMani in the Boston area - she was quite impressed! Her salon was not licensed to carry this line.

LeMani is the best because of the owner Gail Lemerisse. She is on at all times! Her knowledge of skin
care and the latest trends is the best and she never rushes you - it seems she has all the time in the world for you and you are the most importtant client! she has. I have referred more friends to her who now are regular clients. The first question I have for them is: How long were you there,. wasn't the facial the best you ever had and didn't you love Gail and her staff! I don't know of anyone who hasn't had a great experience and are repeat customers.

I have dry sensitive skin, most "standard" facials are not suited to my skin type. i would try getting a facial once every couple years and would be disapointed with the experience and the effect on my skin. Starting with my first visit, Gail gave me a customized facial that felt great and worked for my skin. When I go to see her, I don't question anything she decides to do as she clearly is working to make the most of my face and skin. I never feel like I am getting the standard treatment that has nothing to do with my particular needs.

I had been suffering from bad skin for about ten years now, therefore, you can believe me when I say that I have done a lot (and I mean a lot) of facials. I have also been in quite a few spa places and seen a large number of facial specialists.
The place is very tranquil with superb personnel. It allows you to forget about your daily problems, and dive into a world of comfort and relaxation. The spa personnel take care of you from the minute you step into the place. They make sure all of your needs are attended. They are very professional in everything they do.
Gail does a fantastic job with the facials! (Both Customized and European). She is very attentive and is always great in finding the right product combination specifically for my skin. She makes sure I understand exactly what to do and in what order to do it (The people with problematic skin know how important the order is!). But please, don't take my word for it. You have to come and experience it for yourself.

Best facials I've ever had! Better than ones I had in Paris, France... and boy were they good! Gail is just wonderful at making you feel welcome and relaxed through the whole facial process... and what a good job she does! My face always looks 5 years younger when I walk out of there! Love her products too... she gets me on track on what my face needs and she's so knowledgeable..... my skin has been looking better than ever and I'm over 65 (hate that)!!!

I have been to many spas for many facials in downtown Boston, Vegas, etc, but Gail's is the best. She loves what she does, she loves her customers, and she believes in (and really knows) her products. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed - not snooty at all. Once Gail knows you and knows your skin, she helps you maintain a systemic approach to skin health and by extension, skin beauty. My one critique is that at busy times the small spa can get a bit hectic; if you can go at an off-hour, it's sheer heaven!

I have been to Le Mani many times in the past few years since I have moved from NYC and it is fantastic! You don't have to go all the way to Boston for a great spa experience! The massages are wonderful and I have had different people each time, all were great! However I do prefer having a female work on me, which they have never had a problem accomodating. Parking is a little tough on the weekends, but it is not too hard to deter me from returning!

I have been going to LeMani for years. The experience is always wonderful. Whether I am having a massage, waxing or a facial, I find that Gail is very aware and knowledgeable of what my needs are. She will take the extra step required to intelligently inform you of what has to be done to correct your skin issues. Mydaughter and daughter-in-law also use LeMani for their needs. The atmosphere and service is excellent. I cannot say enough about Gail and her spa. You have to experience it.

This cozy local spa will take you miles away from all the demands and stress of daily living. No need for long trips or flights when I can "get away" right in my home town.

I won a full facial and massage here was pampered to the most luxurious service in the middle of a snowstorm! Then I reurned with my daughter for her birthday and we were princesses for a day! I've never seen my dancer so relaxed. The service was personal and experienced! Just a delight!

i am a burn survivor, never had a facial before my burn injury, my sister and my mom visit le mani day spa regularly, my sister told me how wonderful gail was and that i should go to see her. gail is so wonderful, i immediately felt a connection with her. gails facials have helped my skin so much so that when i leave her my face feels beautiful and my skin feels beautiful, she makes me feel beautiful...it is a wonderful experience at le mani day spa, i highly recommend it!

I have been going to LeMani for years! I have had all sort of treatments done, and never once have I been disapointed. Gail is wonderful and she knows her stuff (and she offered to babysit my not yet born grand-child!). I went for a facail last month, explained I felt as though my facial hair was growing, she spoke right up and suggested that I get facial waxing. Not everyone would do that, I really appreacitated it!

I started going to Le Mani this past November. I noticed the beautiful skin of a friend and asked her what she did to look so great. Her response was simply "I go to Gail at Le Mani". That's all I needed to know. I booked a custom facial with Gail as soon as I could. My skin had been dry, red and rough. I had made many attempts to improve my skin but was frustrated with each failed product or perscription. With my appoinment made at Le Mani, I was hopeful some change could be made. As it turns out, Gail is practically a miracle worker. After my facial with her my skin looked better than I could ever have hoped for...hydrated, smooth and not blotchy. Gail really knows her stuff. Fortunate to live nearby, I return to Le Mani regularly for facials and to purchase products. I would highly recommend Le Mani to anyone no matter how many miles they needed to cross to find themselves there.

I started going to Le Mani Day Spa about three years ago, after it was recommended to me by a friend. I Earlier I had started to see a dermatologist for Rosecea. After medical treatment the rosecea just became worse. Even though Winchester was a bit of a drive, I decided to take my friend's advice and go see Gail. The place was beautiful - quiet and very clean. Along with it's pleasant quality, the reception was extremely professional. Well my friend was right. Gail, along with being gentle was completely concerned with my problem being fixed. After my facial, which was designed for Rosecae, Gail introduced me to some Europeon products that would finish the job of helping to heal my problem. My rosecae went away soon after I stated the treatment. It was so great to finally see my forehead and cheeks clear up. Last month I ran out of the product. Within a couple of weeks the rosecea began to return. I went up to see Gail to purchase some more product and get another terrific facial. Within three to four days the reddness had started to fade. Within 10 days my face was back to a clear complexion. I couldn't recommend Le Mani enough. My friend, who recommended Le Mani, said she also had her own problems with her skin and Gail helped guide her in the right direction and helped with her stubborn adult acne.

The microcurrent facials are superb yet affordable, the atmosphere's intimate & welcoming, the team is fun and professional, and - MOST IMPORTANT - the results are great! I esp. see a clear lift in my jaw line, chin and around the eyes. My face is as it was maybe 7-8 years ago, lifted and refreshened.

Personally, I didn't want anything invasive, expensive or overly-obvious (the last thing I ever want to hear was "gee, you've had work done"). That said, middle age held some surprises. Both for my job and my well-being, I wanted to look my best and re-capture a little confidence. The Microcurrent facial really lives up to its reputation as painless Pilates for the face, and Le Mani is terrific. Gail and Kim take the time to focus on problem areas and specific client needs. Also, unlike some of the larger spas, Le Mani's services are affordable and the environment's zero-pressure. Enjoy.

The only thing that would make it perfect would be to offer early morning (7a-8a) appointments for people headed to work.

Le Mani Day Spa is one of the only places around doing a treatment called Microcurrent, as seen on Opra. I was looking for something to slow the aging process without resorting to surgery or injections. Microcurrent stimulates the facial muscles and gives them more tone. My eyes look more open as the forehead muscles tighten, the nasolabial folds have flattened and the slight droop on the jaw line is gone. People who don't know me think I am at least ten years younger than I am and those who do know me keep asking what my secret is to staying so young looking. As a physician myself, I have seen compications from many invasive cosmetic treatments, so I was so happy to find something that is basically preventitive-helping me keep the muscle tone to slow the aging process. The procedure is done in such a relaxing fashion that I am as relaxed when I leave as if I had been in for a facial. Thanks to Gail, Kim and Carla for keeping me looking young!

I started visiting Le Mani years ago for regular facials and have been hooked since my first visit. The staff is skilled and welcoming and the quality of their facials is first rate -- I am never rushed and the time I spend at Le Mani is relaxing and pleasant. When my daughters became teenagers, I introduced them to Gail so that they could learn at an early age how important good skin care is. Gail took phenomenal care of them - - they love going to see Gail and she is amazing at how well she relates to them as teens.

I have had nothing but great experiences at Le Mani Day Spa. The staff really takes the time to treat you like you were the only customer. They are extremely well trained and the owner is almost always available to speak with or service you. The spa carries a wonderful array of top notch skin care items, and the staff will help you decide on a regimen that works best for your skin's personal needs. I have been preparing for a pageant and Gail, the owner, has been so helpful and supportive in my quest for the crown. Win or lose, I am grateful to her for all her help in greatly improving my complexion.

I have been a very faithful client at Le Mani for almost 2 years. In my mid-twenties I suddenly developed adult acne, and even my dermatologist couldn't do much to help me. I went to a few other chain spas for facials before discovering Le Mani, and I have been so happy with Gail. Gail really knows the products that she uses, and I would recommend Le Mani to anyone!
