Gold's Gym

I have been a member at Gold's in Tewksbury for 4 years now and have had nothing but great experiences. The clientelle is nice; there are your typical meat head gym-fanatics who will leave their weights unracked but the staff is great. If the free weight area is busy I can always use the women's only gym which really sets them apart from other gyms in the area. THE GYM IS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN and everyone is like a family. There are TVs on nearly every piece of cardio equipment - if you are not used to that then it is a definite plus... you will be addicted after using them! I wouldn't have stayed around this long if the facility was not worth the money.

I have been a member of Gold's Gym in Tewksbury for several years and found that it is an excellent facility no matter what you are into. Their equipment is all state-of-the-art and they keep it all in great condition. I have never seen a machine stay out of order for more than a day or so. The gym area, bathrooms, and kids club are always very clean. The staff is wonderful and very friendly.

Their group classes are CHALLENGING--not your mother's aerobics class--and the instructors are fantastic. They offer a wide range of classes range from straight cardio and weights to spin and yoga. (They have separate spinning and yoga studios.) They are always incorporating the latest inovations in excercise into their classes.

My kids love their "Kids Club" (aka: babysitting). They have video game consoles and even a touch screen computer.

For all this, I am surprised that their membership rate is as low as it is. They recently eliminated the extra charge for spinning so the only other extra fee you would possibly need to pay is a nominal fee for babysitting if you need it. I am very happy to be a member. It's a great value.

This is a very nice gym, totally renovated with brand new equipment. They offer tons of classes and daycare on site and flexible hours! I wasn't impressed with the sales team who you need to see to become a member, it felt almost like buying a used car - and somehow I don't think I got the best deal! They deduct the monthly balance from your account and there's no way out!!! All in all for someone who's serious about going, it's a nice big gym!

It is a great place for exercising, friendly staff and nutirtionists provided and good trainers for drafting your schedule for the entire year and help in the process of achieving your goal for a fit body and mind. I am very impressed and very reasonable for the service they provide. Good baby sitting just near the gym area and good for stay at home moms tooa and very affordable
