I tried to buy a Harley off these guys 97 sport glide. First off the bike was overpriced by at least $2000 with a dented tank they wanted $7500. This is the first bike I would have bought for full price. I buy used and from owners and have never had an issue. So I put $3500 down and came back two weeks later with the rest. Gave them the cash and asked for the bike. They said it would be ready in three days, I have no idea how they came up with that number but anyway it gets worse. I came back three days later wait like an hour for them to tell me it needs carb work. Three more days, they tell me they don't have a Harley mechanic so it will take three more days. I asked for a refund, no surprise they say it'll take three days to process. These guys are thieves and liars. No integrity when selling a bike, it's all about the $ with gbm, 128 cycles, and parkway. I hope these guys clean up their act.
I just brought a used GSXR 750 2006 from parkway cycle. I purchased this bike for 6,500 dollars in the month of April 2012. My bike broke down on me May 30th 2012. I managed to actually role my bike by hand all the way to parkway cycle which took about an hour or more. First they charged me a 98 dollars just to charge my battery overnight huh? Are you kidding me? Anyways i get a phone call from them the next day saying that my Rectifier and stator need to be replaced. Mind you I just paid 6500 dollars for this thing. So they tell me I would have to pay 600 dollars just for the stator to be replace alone. Forget it I??m fed up at this moment. I have brought this place customers and was promised I would get paid for referrals. Of course that did not happen. I did not want to believe all the negative things people said about this place because I truly had faith in it honestly. It??s a good thing my landlord is my attorney so i will be calling him today as far as the LEMON LAW goes. At this point i really want a full refund for the simple fact that my face was pretty much spit in. How do they expect people to come back after they treat them so badly. If anyone would like to hear my feedback feel free to email Ronaldrogers86@gmail.com. As far as recommending someone else to parkway cycle would not be possible. I honestly can't put up with it anymore. Sorry parkway I??m a nice guy but deserve to be treated fairly and not ripped off.
Also!!! The service guy told me I could leave my helmet there while my bike was being looked at. I??m pretty sure the guys name was Jeff. Anyways I get to parkway and they say they never seen my helmet. I talked to a few people and they said things get stolen here all the time. Are you serious....Why would they say it was ok for me to leave it there? The guy Jeff said he will check the cameras and give me a call. Of course I never got a call back. That seems to be a major problem with this place. This place is a pure scam!!! Don??t trust me? Read the reviews for yourself and you will understand. DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM THIS PLACE.
i METFORMER EMPLOYEES THAT USED TO WORK HERE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY BUY SALVAGED BIKES FROM NEW NH AND SELL THEM FOR SO MUCH MORE.
IF ANY OF THE STAFF FROM PARKWAY ARE READING THIS..i WILL BE ARRIVING WITH A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR ON 6/12/12

I bought my first and second scooters from these guys, and they were awesome! I bought a third elsewhere, but not because of them. I still go back for gear, and they always remember my name, no matter how many years it's been. They are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

What a fun little place! I enjoy coming here to scope out what's in store, while being in a fun, colorful, and friendly place. There are always unique motorcycles, and scooters here, not to mention great decor and accessories. The staff is always warm and so knowledgeable about their products. I wouldn't expect anything less from this place.

Just my two cents, I have been a customer there for a long time and I have to say, They always made me happy. Word of advice. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. I complaint when I am not happy. You have to go right to the the top. GM. Tony P. My experience overall with Parkway Cycle has been great! Just my two cents,

I've been dealing with Parkway for many years, purchased several bikes from them and have always been treated like family. Myself and my fellow friend riders have always received great service and they stand by their work. I've never had any problems with workmanship, parts dept, or attitude. Great crew in this shop it shows.

This is based on my experience in the accessories department. I came in earlier this week with my b/f to buy a helmet to start riding with him. Before I came in I was worried that I would be pressured into buying a more expensive helmet that I was comfortable with because of the wide range of pricing options available on helmets. The women I worked with (Cindy I think her name was) spent the better part of an hour walking me through the different brands available and was very patient trying on a number of different sizes from different manufacturers. When the time came to pull the trigger, the decision was completely left up to me. After picking out a helmet, I told her I wanted to browse some jackets. She pointed me to some clearance items they had and left me to look on my own. Wonderfully low pressure sales environment, and a great experience overall and I'll definitely be back again.

I just finished closing on a new GSXR through Parkway. Overall, I found Parkway to be straight forward and the sales staff easy to deal with. Zev (sp?) was especially helpful and Dave in Finance got me out the door quickly. As far as pricing, they didn't jerk me around too much w/hidden fees. There probably was a little bit of wiggle room on price, but to be honest, I really hate negotiating. Financing was straight forward and they gave me a loan w/ a fair APR. I came in on a Thursday and my bike was ready for delivery on Friday. I can't speak to the service side of the business, but I feel pretty comfortable with the team.

I am a customer of Parkway Cycles and have a big problem with Parkway Cycles now, not sure how to proceed further.
I brought in my bike (Suzuki Madura) to change fork seals ~1.5 months ago. The parts were in and the guy said that I should be and to pick up my bike in a day or so, they will call.
Week later I heard nothing so we called and apparently the tech damaged something while disassembling it or, found something damaged, and he needed more parts. So we agreed to order new pistons and sliders.
Week later I called again. The person that answered phone was VBERY rude and said, they will call when it is ready, no need for me to check in parts are shipped and should be in any day now.
Yet another week later. I called again. Same story, parts shipped all is moving, need to wait.
Another week (last week). I called, made sure I know who I am talking to (Don). Don: ??My computer shows all is fine your parts are shipped, few more days..? Me: ??Don, I heard the story for a month now, can one contact the supplier, ask for tracking number ???? Don: ??I will check stuff out, call me tomorrow?
Called him next day; ??Don, what??s up with parts??, Don: ??Computer said all is fine, will check with ordering department, will let you know?
Next day Don, calls: ??Parts are backordered till 8-22-10 at least?.
So I already wasted a months, because parts were in ??any day? now, now I have to waste another month. Summer will be over!!!!
I said I will pick up motorcycle, don??t bother doing anything.
Well, apparently I can??t do that either. Tech has to put it back together, but he is busy in foreseeable futuer!!!!!!!! (I would think I should have propriety, he had my bike for over a month!!!!) And yeah, I need to pay 350$ for his incompetence, because he spent do much time taking fork seals out and now will have to put it back together?.350$ for nothing, because he didn??t do anything, except breaking some other things that now are impossible to get.
What a f@ck. Do I have to pay for no service, why I was LIED to for a months (on multiple occasions, and once in a very RUDE manner). Do you even have my motorcycle, or it got lost, that??s why I can??t pick it up?????

If I could give them a negative stars rating I would. I've used them twice, and never will again.
With this most recent experience it went something like this. Back in October I used their pickup/dropoff service for $80. High, but the bike wouldn't start and I was in the middle of moving and absolutely didn't have time to deal with renting a vehicle to get it over there.
It turned out the bike needed a new battery, and a tank/carb flush, which was about what I expected. They then told me the clutch cable has snapped, and tacked that on. The service took 4 weeks, which is ridiculous to begin with for that kind of basic work. They initially were responsive with phone calls in the first week or so, but then the burden started falling on me to check. After the service was done the saga of returning the bike began.
They did not respond to messages, they had excuse after excuse for why it couldn't happen this week or that week. Twice appointments were cancelled, and once, when I was out of town and didn't respond to their message to schedule another dropoff time for 3 whole days (keeping in mind that they had ignored many messages of mine at this point), they said they would have to start charging me a storage fee of $55/day if I didn't get it scheduled the next day.
So - I tried to get it scheduled the next day, and sure enough when they were supposed to drop it off I got a call saying we'd have to reschedule, or I could hang around waiting for it for an unspecified amount of time.
I JUST got my bike back yesterday. They were over an hour late in delivering it, and it came back without the cover. The delivery guy (Paul) said he would find the cover and come back with it same day (since it was going to rain overnight). I got home and naturally there was no cover and no phone call telling me why. When I called this morning they told me there hadn't been a cover on it when they picked it up, and basically tough noogies. When I said that I wasn't very happy with the way things had gone she started spewing all sorts of excuses and laughing about it. 100% totally unacceptable. You couldn't pay me to go back there. The service itself seems fine - the bike is running, but if they couldn't manage a carb cleaning then they wouldn't be in business at all.
PROS: One of the closest shops to Cambridge.
CONS: Terrible service, overpriced.
