Newpro

We purchased Newpro windows in 2004 to replace old, wooden double hung windows that were starting to rot. We went with Newpro because of the energy efficiency, which is fantastic, but also because we live near a major highway and the noise reduction is amazing. We are so happy with the windows, we just purchased Newpro doors from Newpro Product Specialist Dan Lamore. Dan was low pressure and full of great information. We are looking foward to our new doors!

Out of the unending list of things to get done, we decided on replacing the second floor windows-Newpro Won. -While Newpro windows are more expensive -we looked at our window replacement as being a long term investment with great energy savings, beautiful upgrade to the appearance of our home, not to mention the 50 year guarantee, we know that we wont have to question our decision to go with Newpro. My husband and I purchased NEWPRO windows 20 years ago. We were only able to afford a few windows at the time. Over the years we have tried other types of windows. The quality of those windows always left us wondering why we didn't just stick with NEWPRO. We called to set up a appointment and they sent us Jim Harris. He was very knowledgable in the product. He took the time to show us all the improvements that have been made over the last 20 years. It's comforting knowing that a company with a great product continues to look for ways to improve.

I really tested Jim's knowledge and patience by asking him to compare several different packages for us to consider. He never blinked an eye and was very eager to help make this as affordable for us as possible. I would strongly reccoment NEWPRO and Jim Harris if you are considering replacing your windows.

Since the installation of my Newpro windows last year, I"ve noticed a great savings in my energy use. My house looks so much more attractive,too

It's so easy to clean both sides of the windows from inside the house.

The sales representatives and the installers were very friendly and professional, they even cleaned all the windows before they left.

The 50 year warranty and free service is a real plus.

I can't wait the have the rest of my windows installed this summer.

I had 15 windows installed in my home 14 years ago. The windows have made a huge improvement on our home. We live on a busy road and after the windows were installed the noise was less noticable. I recently noticed that one of the windows are a little foggy. Newpro is replacing it for us at no charge! The salesman we have is great at answering our questions and the installers were neat and efficient. We are now ordering a bay window and I am sure that we will be just as delighted. Newpro is a must in our home.

We love NEWPRO! In November 2009, we had 15 windows replaced. The salesman was professional, his presentation was great, the product was excellent, they were installed by the promissed date, the installers were also knowledgeable and did a nice, clean job. Both from inside and out, the windows look great. They are air tight, easy to clean (especially with the grates inbetween the windows). Although they were more expensive than other companies, we believe you get what you pay for. Since we loved the 15 replacement windows so much, we had Newpro back last month to replace two large bay windows. Again, an outstanding product. I can honestly say I love these bay windows even more than the regular ones. Again, they are air tight, easy to clean, look just beautiful! Thanks Newpro - we are looking forward to working with you again soon.

Newpro is first class all around. The product is superior to everything I've found, and the people behind the windows are outstanding. You can pay less for replacement windows, but you'll get less. These are NOT your average vinyl replacement windows. There's nothing average or vinyl about them. Built like a tank, smooth as silk, beautiful to behold. Se them in person and you'll be convinced.

in 2009, i replaced 11 0f my vinyl windows with newpro triple pane. the sales rep was very knowledgable & there were no high pressure tactics. the installation was flawless & the tech cleaned up after himself. i'm getting ready to replace the rest of my windows now & actually looking forward to the experience.

Thought we would drop a line to let you know how pleased we are with our Newpro purchase.

The entire project was run professionally and courteously, starting with the salesman Jim Harris, who arrived promptly, put on a concise and thorough presentation that sold us on Newpro quality, and assisted us in making our design decisions so that we were totally happy with our purchase, to the windows being delivered on the day that they were scheduled, to the installers doing an absolutely professional installation, installing 15 windows and getting it done in a day, and leaving no evidence behind that they were even there (except for the beautiful replacement windows!).

In the winter of 2009, prior to changing our windows to Newpro, we had used 2 tanks of oil to heat our home. Last year, with 2010 being even colder than the previous year, our oil consumption was reduced to one tank, exceeding the 40% energy savings that is claimed by Newpro.

While Newpro windows are more expensive than what you could buy from other window companies that we investigated as well as outlets like Home Depot, we looked at our window replacement as being a long term investment, and with the great energy savings, beautiful upgrade to the appearance of our home, not to mention the 50 year guarantee, we know that we wont have to ever look back and question our decision to go with Newpro. We are certainly glad that we did our homework and decided on the best window you can buyNewpro. Thanks to everyone at Newpro, from the salesman to the fabricators to the installers. Great job!!!!!

I had all my windows and sliding glass door replaced by NewPro last year. I was very satisfied with the windows. However, the wrong door (opening on wrong side) was ordered. NewPro ordered a new door. When that came in the handle on the slider was the wrong color. They quickly ordered the correct handle and rectified their mistake. This year I have ordered a new basement door and new front door. I am sure that I will be happy with the results. NewPro seems to go the extra mile to make their customers completely satisfied. Newpro did a wonderful job installing 39 windows in my parent's three family home. The windows are energy efficient and easy to clean. We were impressed with the company's sales and service professionals. There was no pressure from the sales team to purchase the windows and the service team was neat and organized while installing the windows. My parents were so impressed with Newpro that they are having the componay replace all the windows in three enclosed porches.

Mr. Brad Thompson-Sales was very customer oriented, very professional, understanding, very honest, I always request Mr. Thompson knowing I would receive honest and excellent service.
Service- Mr. Tom Peacock exhibit true care and knowledge of Newpro products another reason we will stay and recomend Newpro..
Mr. Oliver installer took great care in installing all Newpro products which made me feel very good about the service we received.
Newpro products in my opionion are the best on the market but better yet the people I have named above.
I would recommend Newpro and their staff very highly.

I am very happy with my Newpro windows.The day of installlation was well coordinated and all contingencies were available. The workers even had spotlights in order to finish in the dark.The windows were made to order and the delivery date was met. I had calls from the company to be sure delivery would be convenient as scheduled.I live in an area with lots of wind and blowing snow. The windows are absolutely airtight and I noticed the comfort level increased immmediately. My home stays warm even with the worst possible weather conditions The crew did a thorough clean-up outside after dark on a cold wintry day. I would feel very comfortable recommending Newpro to anyone Thank you Newpro

I had all the Windows in my home replaced to include changing out two regular windows to a Picture Window and a Garden Window in my kitchen. I then had them install a basement window, new front designer metal door and metal entrance door to my garage. I will say it might seem expensive up front but the savings I have had in energy costs and the peace of mind knowing I am covered has been priceless. NEWPROs employees are knowledgeable and polite and took the time to do everything right the first time. There wasnt the rush to finish up mentality you find with other contractors.
50 year widow warranty! Any problems and they are there to take care of it without feeling like you have to beg as I have experienced with other companies. In fact I have never dealt with a better company for responsiveness and follow up. I have been so happy with NEWPRO I have recommended them to family and friends. And I am happy to say each of them have been equally impressed and happy with NEWPRO. I am in the process of selling my home now and one of the big selling points has been the transferable warranty and the quality of the NEWPRO products installed. In fact it was this selling point that convinced the buyer my home was the one to purchase.
I will definitely have NEWPRO back to my new home.

We had NewPro replace one bay and one pane glass window back in 2002. We had several window companies and contractors come out for quotes. NewPro was the only company that used an oak frame and with the size of the bay windows (8+ ft) I felt this was a major plus. NewPro was the highest quote we received but also had the best window in my opinion. After talking down the price we agreed to have them install the windows. The installers were nice people and got the windows in quickly and cleaned up before leaving. The first rain storm the windows leaked and I was crushed. NewPro had a technician out the next day to inspect the water damage and fix the problem. NewPro replaced some trim pieces that were damaged and fixed a problem that nothing to due with the windows or the way they were installed. Turned out that the siding was installed over the top of the drip edge, the technician removed and then reinstalled the siding properly. No more leaks. Eight years later the windows are starting to become hard to open but again NewPro is sending out a technician to fix the problem. NewPro does need a new sales pitch strategy. To me the original high quote price is to try and make you feel like you are getting a deal, but that can easily backfire. In the end I am happy with my bay windows and the service after the sale.

We have taken the time to write a review of NEWPRO windows because we feel we made the right choice after our experience with two previous window manufacturers, one of which is very large and known in their industry, yet the quality of their product left much to be desired and the seriousness of their service sorely lacking. On the large manufacturer we experienced breaking of the seals that caused cloudy glass panels and swelling of the case windows that made the windows difficult to close and the opening handles to collapse.

After repeated calls for service attention they left us with a few new plastic handles for us to replace the broken ones and said: you should use paraffin and be more gentle. Our bad experience with that vendor is with two houses. The windows were pre-installed by builders so we had NO CHOICE in the selection of the window supplier.

Needless to say we will never buy windows from that large manufacturer even if their quality and service support improves.

Last year, we installed 14 NEWPRO 3-pane windows after careful evaluation because replacing windows is a far more serious and costly project than buying a fancy automobile. If one makes a mistake with a car, it can be always traded for a better one. Windows are an expensive fixed investment in your precious home that you are stuck with for 20 or more years.

We were guided by the following factors in selecting NEWPRO:

The quality and reputation of the company and the product
Whether the company has a track record and are well established
Whether they offer a practical guarantee for possible defects and respond to service calls
Whether they use their own sales and installation personnel, as opposed to part-time subcontractors. This enables them to enforce quality standards and their own employees have a vested interest in making their company succeed to protect their jobs.
Preferably an organization that manufactures in Massachusetts since we would like to support our own dwindling manufacturing industry.
Triple pane energy-saving technology

We are happy to state that those criteria were met by NEWPRO. On the strength of these criteria not only are we going to install 14 additional windows on the back our house. We also recommended one of our sons to install sliding triple pane windows for an area of their older house that was subject to lots of cold wind. Additionally, one of daughters is today considering installing a batch of windows to replace the old ones in the older portion of her house in Wellesley to reduce leaks and improve energy efficiency and esthetics.

The management has been surprisingly accessible, thinks outside of the box, and does not think in terms of a house by house deal but welcomes customer members of a whole family where satisfaction of the family group is even more important.

We believe that NEWPRO is not the kind of company that once the deal is closed and paid for then it is all forgotten and care only about the next deal. They know that their existing customer base is one of their most precious assets, as a source of referrals to grow their business. They know the importance of not making the mistake of disappointing a loyal customer (such as was the case for us by a large windows company) because when it comes to recommending a company that does not care about their loyal client base the unhappy customer would say to their contacts: Buy from any company but that one. This translates to loss of sales and any future references go out of their windows.

So far we are very pleased with NEWPRO products and support as evidenced by the fact that we dared recommend installations to our son and daughter to install NEWPRO windows on the strength of the criteria we listed above

Three years ago I needed new window throughout my one story house.
I called NewPro. I liked their adds and the no obligation quote. The sales rep called me the next day and made a nighttime appointment so I didn't have to take off work. He was great, showed all the window styles and we made the decision that night. When they came to install the window the crew finished in a day, cleaned up all their mess and were very careful. The windows are better made than any others I've seen, defiantly keep the cold out and have worked great. I have just ordered a sliding glass door (same sales rep) - I know that it will give me the same great service as the windows.

I don't know; maybe the previous owner of my home bought the least expensive of these Newpro windows, but either way, what I have in this house should not be sold to anyone.
They look pretty new, but work terribly.
It all "sounds" good...double-paned windows that pull in to clean, etc...but my contractor said his buddy has the same windows as me, and that people are lucky to get 10 years out of them.
They're made of very cheap plastic and don't slide up and down easily (think: broken back, or putting books in windows to hold open.)
Safety locks don't stay in when you want to slide windows up or down, so you have to keep pulling the windown OUT to close or open.
Safety locks also break, get stuck, fall out. Very badly made.
Constructed parts of the window can rip off or "snap out" and you're left with a mess.
Badly made windows like this misalign quickly.
Spend a little more money for better windows and save yourself the aggravation of living with them, and then having to replace them.
Do NOT understand why all the 5-star reviews.

I purchased windows from Newpro in December of 2009. It was overall a great experience. A knowledgeable sales consultant came out to our new home and recommended windows in the style and budget that we wanted. The following week a team was out and did a beautiful job installing them. Very pleased!

This was an easy transaction. I already had a whole house full of Newpro windows. The windows are fine. If something goes wrong, the
service to fix or replace the windows is good if somewhat slow.
The windows aare expensive but since there is a lifetime warranty, worth it. Service people have always been helpful and skilled.

First of all, the windows are fantastic because they hold out the cold and keep in the heat beyond my wildest expectations. It was just as important to us, however, that the sales experience was professional and simple. There was never a "hard sell," only the most competent advice and consultation.

Had a sliding door replaced by NewPro in '87. Never had any problems and it still functions great. Replacing two bedroom sliders today with NewPro and expect the windows will be a vast improvement over the steel ones that are there now.

We had a set of NewPro windows installed in 2009. The windows are of high quality and our family is very satisfied with the manner in which they were installed. We noticed a significant reduction in our heating costs due to the new windows, as well as a reduction in noise filtering in from outside. We are having another set of windows installed this year and we hope to see the same this year.

We LOVE newpro windows! We had Newpro windows replaced years ago in the bedrooms and loved them so much we have had the rest of the windows in the house done by them. You get what you pay for as far as these windows go, the added warmth in the house and the nice look from the outside! They stand by their product, we had a problem with a window and the next day the repair crew was out to fix it right away. Can't ask for better than that!

Had several windows installed last year, very satisfied with the; product, the installers and Paul Conboy the salesman.
Just ordered the remaining windows to finish the house for installation this year.
Cost is high but Conboy was willing to deal, $14K for 14 double hung windows-2 medium size sliders and 1 large slider, plus some carpentry work for 1 of the medium size sliders.
Overall, better than average product but you'll pay for it.

My husband and I have just signed on for phase 2 of our renovation project. In 2007 we purchased 21 windows and 3 doors with the promise that we would save at least 40% on our heating bill. We were thrilled to save 43% that year! We are currently replacing two 9' sliding glass doors this fall of 2010. We are paying a bit more (the quotes were very close) but we know what we are getting. For any question or any form of help, call and they are promptly there. Having Newpro local to New England has its advantages. For customer service, you could not ask for more. Everyone that we have dealt with has been courteous, attentive and more than willing to go the extra mile to help. We still have a small part left to do in our project and when we are ready, we will collect quotes from two or three reatailers and then make our decision. Newpro will surely be there!

We initially had newpro windows installed through half of our house about 6 years ago. these windows have greatly improved the comfort in the rooms they were installed, and we have decided to complete the house by replacing the remaining windows with newpro. this decision was made without hesitation based on the tremendous energy efficiency of these windows, durability, ashtetics, and ease of use. i would certainly recommend these windows to anyone looking for the highest quality replacements. from start to finish, a good experience... quality sales staff and installation experts make the whole process easy.

We highly recommend Newpro for windows, doors and gutters
We admittedly can be demanding customers, we own a home that was built in 1832. We have been renovating for many years. Recently we decided to tackle the windows and exterior doors. We chose Newpro..and that has turned out to be one of our best decisions and one we will never regret.
Newpro stands apart from all others. Its one thing to be able to accommodate a home that is 178 years old and has many quirks, and nuances. But its another to consistently accommodate and deliver with professionalism, knowledge, and experts in the field.
The installers were exceptional, professional, as an example they went above and beyond to ensure the interior molding as well as the exterior was perfect. They were also great at keeping us informed every step of the way.. And they cleaned up!!
We are very pleased with Newpro as a company, the products, the installation and the services team. We have a started a long journey together another 32 windows to go!

We decide to replace all of our windows along with our kitchen slider and above sink window-total of 17. We were very happy with the willingness to work with our time frame-vacation in 3 weeks. During the insillation the two gentlemen were very polite, worked as quickly and carefully as possible and every day left the house as clean as it was when they arrived. Total duration of two days for the whole house, quite amazing!

Only negative was our picture window above the bathtub wasn't ready so they will need to return with tempered glass and the slidder handle is the wrong color: gold not silver; however, they will return to fix this which is acceptable considering they were able to install during my vacation.

I am looking forward to winter: we should be much warmer and am looking forward to a reduction in our oil bill.

Would recommend Newpro for anyone who wants to buy the best windows the first time. I do not like to waste money with inferior products and feel we made a good choice with this company. Would give them 4 1/2 stars out of 5.
