In the winter, I bought a lot of coats and suit jackets from the Garment District which were in a state of disrepair, it seemed anyway. I decided to see how much it would cost to get them looking a little bit more decent (as the jackets only cost 10 dollars in the first place) I didn't really mind sheeling out some money to get them fixed. Rofolfo made all these jackets look better than new and it hardly cost me that much money. I also took my winter jacket to him, which was missing a lining in the sleeve, the liner on the inside and was ripped at the seems, he made it look totally new. And I had it back relatively quickly. If you want tailoring done right, deifnitely see Rodolfo.

This unique tailoring shop is located in Copley Place and is a great asset to those who frequent it.
I have been having Rodolfo tailor my and my husbands clothes for many years and have always received exacting detail and wonderful service.
I would highly recommend him.

Rodolfo is the BEST!

I live in Back Bay, but if I lived in "the burbs", I would still drive into town to have Rodolfo tailor my clothes. I am very particular with the way my pants fit and sometimes I can be a pain in the "A**". Rodolfo is not only very patient with me, but he makes sure everything is done the way I like it.
Rodolfo is also an honest business man. There are not many around these days, but he works hard and delivers a quality service at the right price.

Never go to this tailor!

I needed to fix a small part of my dress. After I explain what I needed, he described it was very difficult. And, he suggested its price was $35. I didn't think that he had any will to do it. Finally, while he got upset, he said, "Decide it quickly. I am very busy,"
When I visited this tailor a few months ago, he was kind at that time. I think that he is temper and his emotion depends a situation. Regardless of his character, he doesn't have a good skill.
After his repusal, I went to 'Jerry's Custom Tailoring.' When he looked at my dress, he said to fix it easily. I pick it up last week. I was satisfied with the fixing, and I just paid $10.
Rodolfo doesn't have the technique and ability, his service is terrible, and it is overpriced.

Definitely the best that I know of. You can trust him absolutely anything and it will turn out great! whenever I buy designer jeans, they are always too long for me, so I bring them to Rodolfo. They are the perfect length when i get them back and the original hem is still there...which is great cause they are designer and you want them looking good. Rodolfo's Tailoring is simply the best.

Rudolfo is the Best!

Rudolfo is simply the best. I have used many tailors in the city and he is by far the only one that has consistantly provided the best quality of work. He is friendly, professional, has attention to detail, and will give you his expert opinion for looking your best: Whether its updating a favorite piece, an alteration, or custom tailor to a designer piece, he is the man.

CARES FOR YOUR GARMENTS AS THOUGH THEY WERE PRICELESS.
Without doubt, Rodolfo is the best tailor I have ever worked with. I had a fur coat that was a family heirloom, my husband's mother passed away this spring and left me the coat. .Rodolfo took such care and was meticulous in working on every part of the alteration. When my husband saw how beautiful the coat looked, he actually teared up.
Oh, and by the way, I happened to be in the store, along with several others, and witnessed the incident mentioned in the previous posting. What that woman was asking for was impossible, and Rodolfo's only mistake was being honest with her about was and was not possible for the cut and fabric of the pants, as an experienced professional should. Don't let her bad attitude deter you from having your clothing tailored by a master!

Best tailoring in Back Bay, Boston

This guy is geneous when it comes to fixing your clothing. He has been doing this for some while now and he has very good reputation and as a repeat cutomer, all services are personalized. I have known him for almost 14 years and I would not try anyone else. His prices are reasonable and well worth it. And the work is of quality so you will not have any issues later on.
I will highly recommend Rodolfo for any of your tailoring needs. He is located in the heart of Boston and walking distance from Trinity church and I find that very convenient for me as well.

Cons: Parking, but this is a problem all over Boston

Rodolfo is the ONLY tailor you should use. He's from the 'old school' and does everything himself. And he's a perfectionist. I am a jeans-fanatic, and I also buy a lot on eBay ... so I constantly need Rodolfo to let out, or take in, or shorten. He keeps the original hem, as if by magic ... I'll never understand how he does it. I've tried other tailors in Boston, but none of them compare with Rodolfo. Plus, he's gregarious, talkative, and fun. Go to Rodolfo, and you'll have the best tailor in the city and eventually a good friend.
Pros: Small business, so the service is very personal and Rodolfo gets to know you.
Cons: Call first to make sure he's there.

Flawless Tailoring Job

Rodolpho does an amazing job!! I took him a beautiful BCBG gown that had skirt made of tons of layers of toole. It was alot of work, but he did an absolutely flawless job. He even got it ready for me faster than normal because I was in a time crunch. He is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and the prices are totally reasonable. Rodolpho's tailoring is wonderful. Take your stuff there and you will not regret it!
