1 Stars: only the wine list still shines at radius (by flamsteadman)

i remember so well just a few years ago when getting into radius was a challenge worth the struggle. for years radius had been one of our regular haunts with always impressive service and wonderfully creative culinary focus. no more.
we started to see the signs of wear and tear physically in the restaurant during the past year. its not good when you can see dark stains seeping from under the bar onto the lounge floor. when you frequent a restaurant you notice things that wear out and dont get replaced. then we seemed to experience more service you would categorize as "sorry i'm new here" than true polished service.
finally the food started to go south. many of the menu choices got boringly old and then we actually had a "bad" meal.
during restaurant week we mistakingly went in for a quick meal forgetting it was restaurant week. we watched as full of themselves bartmaids tried to act as though radius still could command the $200 dinner prices we had been willing to pay in the past. i watched as the manager came out and chatted with a friend at the bar; even he was tried and worn.
fine dining restaurant managers are taught as soon as they start their career that they must look the part. this poor lad looked as though he had been wearing the sam e old pair of shoes since the day he was hired.
so as sad as i am to say this radius is but a glimmer of its former self. like the qb who refuses to retire someone needs to tell the chef and the owners its time to either close for good or give the old girl one hell of a face lift and redo. either way i'll move down the street to a fresher face until then.

5 Stars: Great food, excellent service, make your evening special (by vc_boston)

My buddy and I chose this place to plan a surprise birthday for our wives, as both ladies turned 30.
Radius did an excellent job in making their evening special. The hostess was well prepared with a plan in place for the surprise and staff did a fine job coordinating everything.
We were a group of 8 with one kid. Everyone loved their entree. The appetizers, main course and dessert were consistently good. Unlike other high end restaurants, the staff was polite, friendly, and accommodating.
Will highly recommend for special occasions or even just a romantic night out.

4 Stars: Godd place for couple (by DeeB)

This place is one of the top restaurant in the city, my opinion. I had lunch last week with friends here and we had great time. The food is great and so delicious. I had nothing to complain about this restaurant, but the price. I think its price is high, but if you go as a dating couple, then your man is the one, whose knows how to treat a lady.

1 Stars: 4 stars?! Past it's prime... (by CandySpelling)

I went there last month and had the lamb. The entire menu is OUTRAGEOUSLY priced and the portions offensively small. I cannot believe that a 3 oz piece of lamb can cost $46.00. With it comes braised lamb shank, which sounded promising until I took a bit and it was nothing but cold gristle.

I also had the gnocchi which was bland! Again, sounded good but failed to impress.

I have to say, I'm no stranger to acclaimed restaurants. Prices don't scare me but I don't want to feel like I'm getting screwed. This was my third time dining there and this time I was fed up and had to write about it. In a city filled with remarkable restaurants (o ya, clio, l'espalier, scampo), don't waste your time or money going to a place that is as delusional about their prices and cuisine as they are about the condition of the space. Walls are chipped and scratched, the floors look like someone took a chainsaw to them and they often have dead, spray-painted flowers in broken vases. The big communal table that everyone talks about is so warped and chipped, I once got a splinter!

The service was good. We wanted to order a bottle of wine and the wine steward came to help us pick one out. He was young and nice enough, I guess, but what a slob! His suit was filthy, his hair was a disaster, his tie/collar were all over the place and then my husband pointed out that his suit pants were not hemmed. They were about 6 inches too long and all frayed. I don't mean to sound petty but a restaurant that positions itself to be one of the best in the country should not tollerate anyone being so unkempt.

I don't know. In an economy such as this, for most people going out to dinner is a special treat. So unless you want to waste a ton of money on mediocre food (at best) go somewhere else.

5 Stars: Best fine dining experience! (by radiusgirl)

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! I had the duck and by far the best yet! The service was great! Everyone was very friendly . Most definitely recommend it. I have been to Top of the Hub various times and the service does not compare at all...Radius was by far much better dining!

5 Stars: Sophisticated and Modern (by Carolyn R.)

Radius is a gem in the financial district. As soon as you walk inside, you forget that your office is five steps away. It looks like a hip NY City restaurant. Beautiful candles and simple flowers adorn the restaurant. The bar features a long high-top table for group eating so you can come alone and eat with ten new people. Also a great place to sit when the restaurant has no tables available. Service and food are great. Highly recommend -- even if you don't work in the financial district!

5 Stars: Outstanding. (by savvybostondiner)

I handle private events for our firm all over the United States. I have never been more relaxed at an event with our top clients as I was when I had my event at Radius. The staff was outstanding, the food delicious and appropriate for the group. (nothing messy, bite-sized) All in all it was a perfect venue for impressing the powers that be. I would trust this restaurant with any event, be it a small dinner for two or a buyout for 200.

5 Stars: Great spot for business dinners and lunches (by AnnA75)

My company uses Radius quite frequently for business meetings and the staff never fails to meet our expectations. Whether it is a strict time frame that we need to be out by or getting late guests their meal, the team at Radius makes it seem effortless. We have tried other spaces, but always return because they do it the best.

Oh... make sure you try the prime rib eye if you get the chance. Amazing!

5 Stars: I almost didn't go out... (by kdogcritic)

I almost didn't go out when a few friends wanted to have drinks. Wow am I glad I did. We had drinks at the bar at Radius and looked around for all the "beautiful people" that we have heard so much about. Well, okay, they were there, from the front door to the person who filled my water glass. The bar staff was warm and funny, and made great recommendations on wine (even when we just wanted to eat the tempura and fries). Because of this experience, I took a client to Radius a few nights later. I have never felt so well taken care of. We did a chef's tasting which in short was one of the best food experinces I ever had. Our server was attentive, but did not hover. She was professional but not stiff. If you listen to people out there who say not to try this place, you are truly missing out. Those people probably don't understand the concept of "fine dining". I did not leave hungry, this wasn't a "pea on a plate" type place. The food was innovative and interesting and prepared in ways I never imagined in my own kitchen. The sommelier was delightful and funny and the dessert sent me over the edge. Don't hesitate to try it. Stop wasting time reading reviews and just go.

3 Stars: Huge dis-aapontment (by melikegoodfood)

Having been in the food business for the past 30 years, I found Radius to be quite disappointing. Service was rushed from the minute we were seated. Appetizers were forgetable, gnochi and ahi, and entrees were mediocre at best. Desserts were a huge disapointment. Cepe Ice cream, Fennugreek Ice Cream? They have managed to take the "Dessert" out of Dessert!! Best part of the meal was the dinner rolls, and the over-priced wine. I doubt I will return,

4 Stars: Modern chic atmosphere, romantic dining experience, excellent waiting staff (by nyerbostonlover)

Radius is a fantastically organised restaurant. The service (from the reservation, coat check, waiting staff) is fabulous. The decor of this place is very impressive. I"ve been here once for lunch and another for dinner. The downstairs looks amazing, but I have yet to be down tehre ( i think tis for larger functions). The food at Radius is okay as well, great presentation, quiet for a dinner for two. I recommend Radius, though its prices are a bit high. I'd rather choose another place for dinner. However, this is definitely a great place for a POWER LUNCH.

4 Stars: Great! (by daddo1)

From the moment we entered this fine restaurant, we were impressed. We arrived about 20 mins. before our reservation, but we were seated immediately. We had lunch (prix fixe $20.04!) We were offered still water or sparkling water. Our appetizers (tomato and onion salad and cucumber soup) were each mouthwatering. The presentation was even incredible. Our entrees (roasted chicken breast and salmon) were tasty and satisfying. The sour dough rolls that accompanied our meals were delicious. Dessert was fresh and a perfect ending to our meal. Wait staff was attentive, but not stifling. As soon as our water glasses neared halfway empty, they were refilled (several times). The lunch was a birthday celebration and I'd noted it when I made the reservation. When dessert was served to the "birthday boy", it came with a sparkling candle and 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate across the rim of the plate. In addition, he was given a birthday card from the restaurant staff as well as a gift certificate for a visit in November. This truly was a fine dining experience. I look forward to another visit.

5 Stars: If you can afford it, you must eat here. (by gbutler)

Excellent. Service is generally very quality, although the last time I went (I go once a year for a special occassion), they did screw up a few minor things (missing a place setting, late with the wine). But that was just once - the other times have been literally perfect. The food is very tasty. Don't eat the whole day and go to the dinner, order the chef's tasting menu with wine paring (it's pricey but a great time).

5 Stars: Totally Worth it!!! (by jjaimelynne)

So far this has been the only fine dining experience in Boston where the level of everything was awesome. From the hostess & the bar tenders to the food & cocktails. This is how fine dining should be - in my opinion. The bar is a bit small, but has a fierce feel - very cosmopolitan meets chic. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

3 Stars: Horrendous service, great food (by minired)

Went for lunch with a group of seven and we were all frustrated by the shockingly bad service. Despite the swarms of waiters floating around the restaurant, we went ignored for the better part of the 90 minutes we spent at Radius. The only exception was the "bread girl" who kept our plates full of delicious rolls. The remainder of the wait staff seemed to be too busy keeping their hair properly primped.

Although we all agreed that the food was extraordinary -- one of the best burgers in Boston, tremendous fish and delicious salads -- it was overshadowed by the lack of attention we received. If you must go, stick to the bar.

4 Stars: Major Disappointment and Expensive (by rushrush)

I recently decided to try Radius again as it had been a few years since I last dined there.

Both the service and the food were less to be desired. Dinner for two with wine cost close to $200. The restaurant has been open for close to 8 years (or more?_ and you can see the age in some of the decor and the wear and tear of the restaurant and some of the staff. Perhaps we were there on an exceptional night but I disagree with the recent review the restaurant received. Perhaps it is because I wasn't a recognized food reviewer. I will not hurry to return.

5 Stars: Substance AND Swankiness (by runner0382)

I have to admit, eating at this restaurant as one of a party of three was a leap of faith, even moreso after entering the door. All too often in the restaurant industry these days (especially in Los Angeles and New York), the newest and hottest places just don't deliver the goods. Radius impressed in every way possible in a contemporary environment without any attitude.

We all chose to have the tasting menu without wine pairings and it was a delight. Their tasting menu is "blind" in that one does not know the next course and they are presented at your table right after plating. Starting off with hawaiian grouper sushi with ponzu and kumquats to fennel-encrusted halibut over caramlized onions with a small bit of orange reduction to perfectly-cooked lamb, a cheese course, and finishing with surprisingly inventive (and fantastic) desserts, this meal rates as one of the most interesting and outstanding dining experiences in quite a long time.

Everything was cooked to perfection including our vegetarian's Meyer lemon glazed salmon substituted during our lamb course. The desserts deserve a bit of mention - the special carrot cake for the night - dense, with just a hint of sweetness - with pickled carrots, mascarpone cream and chopped almonds was a fantastic pairing of flavours, but the handmade ice cream, chocolate cake (I'm not a chocolate-lover) and goat cheese cheescake were highly enjoyable, not overly rich by any stretch of the imagination, inventive, and fun.

The only downside to the evening would honestly be the portions! While I have often come away from various tasting menus still hungry, Radius' portions were a bit too large and we ended the meal engorged. This may be our doing - omit the optional cheese course and for the average eater, the four course size should be perfect.

Like my Los Angeles Valentino review from this evening, service here was as good as service can be - napkins were folded and/or replaced upon returning to the table, recommendations/ommissions/substitutions handled with grace and professionalism, and presentation of the dishes was confident but not gladhanded.

The proof's in the pudding, so the cliche goes, and the food here was a delight - for what we received, one would be hard-pressed to find a better meal. Each course was memorable in its own right, and while a bit random (except for the repeated use of micro greens and kumquat), it provided great, albeit expensive, experience to remember.

4 Stars: great food, phenomenal service (by culinarian4398)

The food here was pretty good. I was impressed that venison was offered, but our table had the tasting menu on this occasion as the other people I was with preferred. The tasting was a little heavy on fish, but overall the flavors were nicely complex without being too fussy.

The atmosphere is very clean and refined feeling but too stark to be called warm and inviting.

Our server, however, made up for it with a very genuinely friendly and gracious demeanor. He took time to discuss the tasting menu and a number of dishes with us. Service throughout the meal was fantastic--there when we needed something, watchful but unobtrusive otherwise. I wish I had caught his name so we could request him when we go back. He had big black-rim glasses and mentioned that he was from Texas.

I'll be back for the venison and the service!

5 Stars: Delectable food, impeccable service (by 10125)

2nd time there - loved it! Must say that it's the best service I've ever had in a Boston restaurant. The staffs are willing to bend over backwards to please you. Trendy but not over the top with loud background music and such. Great place to take one's time to enjoy the food and atmosphere. Not recommended for a quick bite as food could take a while to prepare. Pricey but that comes with the territory given the high quality of food and service. Overall highly recommended!

4 Stars: Still a Winner But Could be better (by sgourmandp)

I love the chef at Radius, but it is clear he is not there that often and his menu shows it. It was daring and innovative at first and now others in town have followed his lead. There is no doubt the restaurant has the best service and ambience the city has to offer and many other restaurants could and should set the bar as high. Chef Schlow is a master at bringing out the best of flavors and I just wish he would come back to the kitchen to remind of us his talent.

3 Stars: Missed the "hype" in all areas (by justanoldman)

I was really looking forward to a special Saturday out. Radius' rep had set my expectations very high. Sadly they missed on almost every point. The drinks were at best so so (pineapple in a french martini?) The wine list was limited and not up to the hype. The service was adequate for this price point but slow and inattentive. Over fifteen minutes to get a first drink. My lamb was NOTHING special, nor was the seafood soup. Good points. The salad was superb. Excellent breads and my appetizer was quite good. All in all I was disappointed, very disappointed. Neither I nor my companion will be going back anytime soon.

5 Stars: My Favorite Place!!!! (by mcotler)

This is the spot that you go to for any special occasion or for no special reason at all. I have lived in Boston for 7 years and have designated radius as the place I go to celebrate something important....an anniversary...graduation...birthday...etc. The service...food...ambience...and flare is like no other in Boston. There is alot of attention to detail and it's a one of a kind place. I can't imagine going there and not having the most incredible evening! It's the kind of place that you can order ANYTHING on the menu and not be disappointed. Get an apple martini it's the bomb!

2 Stars: Not what you might think... (by kspindle)

I was looking forward to my lunch at Radius during restaurant week. I have heard they are well known for Vegetarian fare, so I had high expectations. I was impressed with the service, but the food was a big dissapointment. The corn soup was bland and lukewarm, although the presentation was unique. The salmon did not taste fresh and the consistency was actually a little slimy. The blueberries in the angel food cake dessert still had stems, and had obviously not been cleaned. Defintely not worth the price or hype!

5 Stars: Great Bar to Eat At (by musososeki)

My wife and I ended up at Radius for my birthday on the spur of the moment (weekend travel plans fell through long story). It healed us on impact. Since when do bartenders know so much about food? Right or wrong you come to a place like this expecting fantastic food -- which it delivered. But do you expect the guy at the bar to be able to steer you through the entire menu? And be right? And not pick the most expensive things? By the way this place was not overly priced. The music was ethereal and the decor immaculate. I'm 36 today and I feel crystal clean.

5 Stars: As good as it gets (by sharad)

I went to Radius on a whim after work for dinner with some friends - seeking food to lift our spirits. Instead, it transformed my day! Welcomed at the door and from that moment on I felt like a king. The service was seamless - there when you need it and not when you don't. The food was amazing - beginning to end with great desserts that are worth being a little too full for - don't skip anything else to "save room". I had been here for special occasions and a business lunch or two, but it is great to know that I was just as happy and probably more comfortable going just because. If you need to change your day head over - it is medicinal!!!!

4 Stars: Good, but not quite great (by theduke37)

At times spectacular and at times shaky, Radius didn't live up to the hype.

The bartender was annoying and the choice of beer/wine left something to be desired.

Dinner started out poorly. We had probably sat for 10 or 15 minutes before anyone brought us menus or asked us what we wanted to drink. I had to ask twice. I'm not sure if this was due to miscommunication. Our waiter seemed nervous and jittery throughout, though he knew the menu very well and did a good job selecting and pairing wines.

As for the actual food, my spicy shrimp salad was fantastic, the best appetizer I have had all year. My pork entree was just so so. Interesting presentation, but didn't dazzle. The sea bass and the vegetable platters were just ok. You'd expect a little more at those prices. Desserts were excellent and I highly recommend saving room.

5 Stars: NYCSNOB finds slice of service heaven (by nycsnob)

Transplant from NYC and this is one of the first places in Boston that I can rave about. Perfect service in a town that has been notorious for lacking service staff. The food was outstanding and can rival several top NYC spots. The salmon was cooked with right mix of subtle flavor without fishy aftertaste. Makes even this steak lover think twice before ordering. Portions are satisfying, but not overwhelming. Recommend it all, but would not suggest having large groups. The prices are a little high for casual dinning, but well worth it for special nights out.

Radius is one of my favorite restaurants in Boston. Extrodinary food is served here, make no mistake. This is one of Boston's classic restaurants. Radius is my first choice when I don't want to worry about a single thing. The decor is amazingly modern yet inviting. I highly recommend the tasting menus, which are a great way to explore the many culinary options available. I like the serving staff, who amazingly remembered me after my second time eating there.
2 Stars: Abomination (by randymckelvey)

We were recommended Radius by a friend. We ultimately ordered the Chef's Market Tasting Menu (5 courses). It was $60 per person. It was sold as "unique dishes that are prepared by the chef, specifically for our table".

I don't know if the chef had left for the evening, but it was truly a terrible dining experience. Starting with the ***Sardines*** they served us for the first course (I'm not a connoisseur of fine dining, but I KNOW that you would NEVER start an evening with a flavor as bold as a sardine...not to mention, we all hate sardines, and it was disgusting). From there, every single dish that they brought out was terrible, incuding desert.

Based on the reviews I've seen, maybe this was an off night. I'm not particularly hard on restaurants. But this was an absolutely terrible meal, and we paid a ton of money for it.

Great ambiance and food. I remember waiting awhile for our food, but when we asked the waiter, he told us it was b/c they were preparing the filet mignan that two people in our party ordered to their liking.
5 Stars: Dinner at Radius... Priceless (by alexius12)

Dined at Radius several times. Everything works like clockwork. Partners Esti Parson and Christopher Myers are the epitome for hospitality. When at Radius, you always feel as if your table is the only one that matters, treated with the utmost respect, without the presence of snooty staff or pompous service, even though the restaurant is normally full. Elegant and graceful service not often seen in America. The first bite of every dish is explosive, with the sights, smells and tastes working in perfect harmony to bring you a flavor that didn't exist until that very moment. But with subsequent bites, you begin to detect some familiar elements, and then you realize why Michael Schlow is so amazing: because he marries flavors and ingredients into combinations that make so much sense, yet so elusive to those without his gift for creating.

One of the top 20 restaurants in the country.

5 Stars: #1 Culinary Experience (by billymac)

Having been in the restaurant business for quite sometime, I consider myself a culinary snob. Dinning with me can sometimes be a pessimistic nightmare. Radius blew me away! Our trip to Boston was definitely highlighted by the six course tasting paired with wine. While expensive (and worth every cent), each course out did its predecessor. The wine parings were superb! Italy, Alsace, Burgundy, Rhone, California, Germany, Spain. Bravo! The finale was the creme brulee. Ive never experienced such a combination of temperature, texture, and flavor. Before our trip to Boston, I considered my creme brulee untouchable. And Ive tried it all over the world. I stand corrected. Thank you staff of Radius, for a truly unforgettable evening!

From the greeting at the door, to the attention to detail, Radius is the best restaurant I've dined at in a long time. Service is attentive without being intrusive; the portions are perfect -- not these huge amounts of food that other restaurants serve in the spirit of value; and the space is beautiful. I've also discovered their lunch is a great treat. I can't wait to go back.

We were there in February for a Saturday night dinner in the blizzard. Had a sherry at the bar while waiting for table. Bar staff were helpful, letting us taste the full range before choosing.

Food was as expected for the price tag. We chose the tasting menu with wine pairing. Several of the wines were disappointing for such a good restaurant.

1 Stars: Are you kidding (by BOSSight)

With more hype than the Sox in April, you would think they could at least pretend they cared about new customers. The food was tasty but pretty much anything tastes alright with that much butter. The most distressing part of the ordeal was the serivce. Terrified waiters running around trying to look busy and/or cool made me feel as though I was being evaluated. Moreover, the hostess-come-manager was arrogant and insulting. Our meal (~$350 w/o tip) was a bad cliche rather than a fun night out in Boston.

We were blown away by the inventive, perfectly and carefully prepared cuisine, the best I've had on this side of the country! But even beyond that: the SERVICE. A very seasoned, charming (and great looking) manager with salt/pepper hair took the best care of our party I've ever experienced in fine dining ANYWHERE. Being spoiled by a person with such grace, affinity, and obvious knowledge really makes for a seamless, perfect evening in which everyone feels like royalty! His recommendations, know-how, guidance, and attention were second to none. It justifies spending money on a special occasion when someone like him is there to take care of you. This is what dining should be. Thank you to whatever his name is (?Bernard?)! You must go there ONLY on a night he's there!!!

5 Stars: SO good (by jenhope)

Went here for dinner the night before Thanksgiving. Though the restaurant was quiet, the service was impeccable. The maitre d' was extremely sweet, helping us find our way in(we were walking and got lost near Filene's). The waiter was wonderful, and the food was delicious. I didn't think I'd be in the mood for a big dinner the night before Thanksgiving, but I was wrong! The pork was so good, tender, with a yummy apple puree. I don't know what the negative reviews are all about, this place is the best!

1 Stars: Overrated! (by DCG47)

This restaurant is so totally overrated. Although the food is tasty - there is very little of it for the price tag. I enjoy a good restaurant, whatever the price but $37 for 4 scallops is a bit high. Too bad the previous restaurant in the spot is gone - world class!

5 Stars: Exquisite Experience @ Radius! (by rc419)

I took my boyfriend to Radius for his birthday, and I have to say that it was really a great experience. The wait staff was so attentive - almost to the point of being TOO attentive - making sure nothing was ever empty and the table always spotless. We had the 9-course sampler menu, and although I thought the wait between courses was a bit long (we were there over 3 hrs), it was definitely worth it, as I am dying to go back and experience at least 4 of the courses as a full entree. By the time dessert came, I was full but still managed to fit in the creme brulee I was served, which was heaven. Definitely a great place to go, and I will DEFINITELY be back!

5 Stars: Elegance by Accident (by Proofwell)

While on a Boston business trip, I walked in here by accident. I knew nothing of Radius's mystique or reputation. Am I glad I went in! Though I was dining alone, the staff made me feel SO welcome. They brought me newspapers to read and even offered to bring out the sous chef, who was from my home town, to meet me. I will forever be grateful for their welcome -- and the food was wonderful too!

5 Stars: american idol (by foodcrazy)

i've always loved clio and mistral, but radius felt so adult... we did a six-course tasting (although I think there were more like eight), and the food was the best i've had in boston. we did the wine pairings as well, which were amazing, and out waiter was perfectly helpful, but not a pain. we were so impressed we made reservations for this saturday night, too.

5 Stars: Best of Boston (by fishguy)

Radius is a true delight. For a casual night at the bar or night of fine dining, Radius is the place to go. I have enjoyed many meals and drinks at Radius. The last time I ate at Radius I had the Chefs nine course tasting menu. Everything was great, but the scallop tasting, and the foie gras dsihes were exceptional. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The desserts are by far the best that I have had in this city, or any other for that matter. And finally, the service was fast, knowledgable, and helpful. RADIUS RULES!!

5 Stars: A true fan (by foodie2000)

I rarely respond to things like this but, I go out to eat about 3 or 4 times a week and I was suprised at the previous persons thoughts on Radius. I have eaten there many times and every one has been a delight. The service and food are the best in the city. The only negative thing I could say is it can get a little noisy on busy nights otherwise, just fabulous!

5 Stars: 10 (by barrysback)

This is the place to go for a very special event. It's quite pricey, but well worth the money. From the moment you enter, this place just evokes class!! Take a moment and enjoy one of their heavenly wines at the bar before your seating. From their appetizers to their entrees to your last course, you will enjoy every mouthful. The service and attention you will receive will be long remembers which certainly adds to a special occasion. When I go there, I always try to order their rabbit or poultry entree. It is the best in the city!!!

I have eaten at Radius a number of times. It is truly the best place in town. The service and food are amazing...dates and clients are always impressed! The room is by far the most metropolitan in Boston...competes with the best in the country. I suggest trying it if you have not already, I think you will be suprised by it's understated elegance and sublime food.

5 Stars: Underrated! (by LarryRand)

I completely disagree with the previous review. Radius has been nothing but glowing in my experiences. The decor is sleek and different than other places in town. The food is fantastic, but does on occassion need salt. That's my only bone to pick, and that's not bad! The absolute greatest thing about Radius is by far the SERVICE. It has always been impeccable and beyond any expectation.

1 Stars: Radius Overrated (by adlsl)

I can not understand the fuss over Radius. Went there with my wife and family for the first time to celebrate her birthday and could not have had a worse, or more expensive, time. Micro portions of expensive food, inattentive service, ugly room, and mediocre food. While the soup and salad were interesting, the expensive salad was gone in one bite. The slab of meat they served me was poorly trimmed, lacked the advertised flavor, and was not property cooked. My wife and son had different dishes but they also lacked any imagination and failed to live up to the glowing description on the menu. The waiter was too busy fawning over a large, obnoxious, drinking party at the next table and never returned with the bread we requested. The dining room had a amateurish drop ceiling that made the room look unfinished.
