Elmcourt Hotel

I don't know why this place has not reach it's five star status, I love this place, don't go there looking for the kings mansion, don't go there with your already bad throughts, go there and see what happens, if staff gets smart with you, it's just because you are a stranger, like they are to you...well, the lady that works at night, so sweet, and will talk to you, take her advice of where to eat, the tavern has the best pepper stake with cheese and affordable,,,,yes it was good, just like a philly cheese stake, the people in the tavern are very friendly, from the staff to the actual customers, Never a mad face in that little section in Brockton, I went from store to store and everyone was just to helpful, not like philly, where every coner is a frown. I only sat in the Tavern until my pepper stake was done, but during my little sit, it felt like I belong, I wanted to stay, I wanted to give tips, but my funds was low, and that was the reason why I was in Brockton, to collect money from a bad relative....The room I was in was a nightly room, they have others, like weeklies, but the room was good, I like that room for it had windows all around, the shower was great, it warmed right up, unlike some of the expensive hotels or motels I have been in where after awhile the water gets cold, not there, the place was clean, and relaxing, I did not know weather to go out side or just stay in,,,,because that area is number one, forget about the hilton, or all those other places, if you not to keen on luxury, then that place is where you should go...I'm home now, and just can't get that pepper stake out my mine....I brought a little meat ball sandwich from the machine, and the lady at the front desk warmed it for me,,,but told me, that the best meal is right there in the tavern, My brother went down and got him a drink, he too had the same throughts about this place. He too wants to go back for a longer visit, its a bad world out there, but just go to Elmcourt Hotel, and you will forget about the world...I'm going back during the summer, and get one of there weekly rooms, I can't wait, but if funds come to me before then, I will go sooner, like christmas.

this hotel is in downtown brockton, behind the new courthouse...Mist of the people that stay there are monthly and it is a very nice place..Small apts are there and the desk people are very nice...AC's in most rooms and just a small walk to downtown and dunkin donuts and local eateries
