Brians Kennels Training & Quality Grooming

I recently went to check out Brian's Kennels as a potential boarding spot for my dog. I was horrified! Not only is it run down on the outside, but the inside truly looks like a puppy prison. I brought my Beagle along with me and after walking in, was warned that walking through the kennels might be traumatizing for him. What about when he stays there???? So, I was told by this employee that I could leave him with the front desk staff as I took a tour. I was shocked to see how many poor dogs are actually boarded at the same time and placed in VERY small kennels. The air was stale and very hot and almost all of the dogs were barking like crazy and looking for attention. I also was informed that the dogs do not spend any time outside unless you pay extra for it! For the heck of it, I decided to ask for references. The employee stared at me with a blank look on his face and said, "what do you mean???" Have they never been asked this question by pet owners before? I really hope that people do ask before boarding their animal/family member at any kennel. After I had had more than enough, I went back to the front desk only to find that my dog had been placed in a cage in the grooming area while I walked through. I did NOT ask them to do this, nor was I informed that they would do it. PLEASE think twice before boarding your dog at this place!

i just had my dog groom on 2/2/08 and they did an absoultely horrible job. Her haircut was sloppy and uneven. I am not one of those picky customer but id expected her to come out decent but nowhere near what i asked for. they were eager to get out or they just sucked period. I am an ex groomer so they gave my dog a haircut before washing her which is fine that only if you go back and clean up the cut which they did not. they didnt even put the bow in her hair correctly. they area bunch of fraud. Phoebe was suppose to be a cute fluffy dog but instead i got back a dog they gave herself her own haircut. Phoebe is a maltese and weigh 7lbs so i know she cooperated bc she gets groom every week when i was still grooming. So i had to redo her groom myself which i did not want to but i will never again go back or refer anyone to them. Also i asked to have her nail grind and all they did was grind her front paws. I heard them calling the groomer carlos and pam was the one who took my dog in with the specfic instruction i gave but noone follow thru. for the price id paid i could have went to high end. 45 $ down the drain. before you decide to book an appiontment make sure it is a short hair dog they can throw into a bath and out!

We were very hesitant about leaving our Jack Russell with anyone. Our Skittles is 5 years old now, but will still take off if she sees an open door. Brian's is awesome. Skittles have become a regular and is very happy when we see her. Grooming services are wonderful as well. Skittles come home all clean and shining. Highly recommend Brian's.

The first time I ever had to use a kennel for my 6yo GSD, and I could not have been happier! Brian was wonderful, as well as the rest of the staff. She came home nicely groomed, and as wonderfully playful as when I dropped her off. We were so impressed that we signed Willow up for daycare services with Brian.

I was extremely satisifed with the boarding and grooming services at Brian's Kennel for my 5 year old Bichon who is rather spoiled. He has boarded at other kennels in the area and he was very unhappy when he came home. However, when he came home from Brian's he was still his happy go lucky self, which speaks clearly that Brian's treat your dog well.

Also, he bichon hair cut was done professionally and right.

So, I strongly recommend Brian's for any pet.

Brians Kennels Training is a tremendous resource for pet owners. I heard so many wonderful things about this business from friends and family that I tried it myself, and could not have been happier with the result. I had my dog go here for training. My dog responded very well and they were able to provide gentle instruction that my pet really responded to. I have also had my dog groomed here and the result has always been excellent. Great rates and a friendly, animal loving staff is just icing on the cake here!

this place has a very good repuation for training dogs and we got the same outstanding service from them. their rates were very nominal and they did a very good job. their staff were knew how to train the pets and they handled them very well. they also offer grooming and other pet services if you need them.great plus for pet owners.

I highly recomend Brian's Kennels because they are very careing and and understanding of your pets needs. My dog is very comfortable about going there, i have been to other groomers in the area and was not satisfied with any others. If someone is looking for a groomer Brians is the only one i recomend.
