Gentle Dental Arlington

I recently went to Gentle Dental in Arlington and it was the best experience I've ever had at a dental office! I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and was greeted with nothing but smiles from the front desk and was seen in less than 2 minutes. Ready for my bonding and 2 fillings, I explained to the dentist Dr. Pivor, that I have sensative teeth. He was very friendly and reassuring that he would allow very minimal discomfort if any, during the procedure. His pleasant yet professional attitude left me feeling comfortable and relaxed. Not only did I not feel a thing during the fillings, the bonding came out absolutely perfect!! I will definitely be going back to this dental office! They were fast, friendly, and flawless! I would recommend anyone in the boston area to this group of professionals!!

Gentle Dental of Arlington

Gentle Dental has been taking excellent care of me for 10 Years. My Dentist Dr. Pivor is very professional and does high quality work. I am very impressed!! He replaced my front tooth can't even tell it!! The front desk is always very welcoming and everyone sees to my needs. It is a wonderful experience to go to the dentist!! I can always count on excellent work. This group have saved me money,preventive maintenance and have high quality work!! This is important to me!! I always recommend this office!

I am very fortunate to have found Gentle Dental of Arlington. The staff is supportive and friendly and very professional. The professional care is careful, high-quality and consistent.
After years of avoiding the dentist, I now look forward to every visit - completely painless, personally pleasant, and consistently achieving high outcomes.

My experience with Gentle Dental has been wonderful. Everyone is so pleasant and very helpful. I had an emergency and had a hard time finding a dentist that would see me right away. I called Gentle Dental in Arlington and they told me to come right in. The dentist was very patient and understanding and took care of my problem with no pain. I now go there on a regular basis to get dental and hygIene work done. They are very professional and friendly and make you feel very comfortable. The prices are very reasonable compared to a lot of other dentists. I would highly recommend this office. Diane A.

I just wanted to take a moment to talk about Gentle Dental in Arlington MA. I like many as a child had a dentist. The choice was made for me by my parents. He was a nice enough man but I always experienced pain and fear when I would see him. He was a family friend and I always felt awkward if I was to leave him. Well after many years he retired and I had to find a new dentist. I was recommended to Gentle Dental and there I met a whole new generation of Dental Professionals. It started with the receptionist who is always polite and professional and calls to remind me of my appointments to the Dental Hygienist Jillian who is always bright, cheerful and pleasant. Not to mention my teeth are the cleanest they have ever been. I happen to see Dr. Pivor whose new modern techniques and superior knowledge has taken most of the anxiety and the pain out of the visits. I truly believe that this is a direct result of the demanding high quality control which Gentle Dental Associates are held to. I can not say enough and do not have nightmares as I did before about going to the Dentist. I would highly recommend Jillian,(hygienist) and Dr. Pivor. They are an example of the New Generational approach to Dentistry that others should emulate. Jimmie D

I've been going to Gentle Dental in Arlington for a while and I love it !!!! Everyone is so friendly and pleasant.

DR. PIVOR always make sure I'm numb before starting. Witch is very important to me.Dr. Pivor always takes time to explain everything to me...I feel confident about his abilities as a dentist.

The last time I went they were great. I took my daugther with me and they kept her busy with coloring supplies. Dr. Pivor took time to answer a few questions she had.I'm grateful for that.
She had a good time,even at 3 years old she thinks going to the dentist is fun!!!

I have recommended this office to all my friends and family.

Many years ago, my uncle was a dentist in Everett; and because he was my uncle; I considered him the best Dentist. He passed many years ago and I have been drifting around to different dentists.

I did not like any of them. Then, about 5 years ago, I found Dr Pivor of Gentle Dental in Arlington, Ma; and have been going to him ever since. I actually dreaded going to the dentist; but not now.

Dr Pivor is always professional and caring. I have a very low threshold of pain, but with Dr Pivor, I feel nothing - there is no pain,
and I never have to wait past my scheduled appointment.

The office is clean and bright and his staff is exceptional; from the receptionist to the hygenist; everyone is upbeat and professional.

I would strongly recommend Gentle Dental in Arlingotn and Dr Pivor to anyone who needs a dentist.

I have been a patient of Gentle Dental Arlington for sometime now, and must say it is an excellent place. The entire staff is very attentive and are genuinely nice people looking out for the needs of all the patients. Dr. Pivor holds true to the name of the establishment as i have never felt any pain during a procedure. He clearly explains everything during the appointment making for an anxiety free atmosphere missing from almost every other dentist i have been to.Gentle Dental Arlington is the place to be for a better smile!!

I have been a patient of Gentle Dental of Arlington going on ten years, The service is fabulous. Dr. Pivor is painless, soft spoken and the best dentist I have ever been to. I now go to the dentist without anxiety. His office staff is pleasant as well as accommodating. I woke up with toothache one morning and his staff did everything possible to get me into see the Doctor the same day. The prices are affordable and they have a great payment plan. If you are looking for a great dentist, affordable prices and an office that greets you with a smile. Go to Gentle Dentist of Arlington.

I recently had a horrible toothache.I I called the Arlington Gentle Dental. The receptionist was so pleasant and was able to squeeze me in on the same day it was a Saturday! When Dr. Jay Pivor came in, he explained to me I had an infection and discussed my options for treatment. I started to cry when he said root canal. He then discussed with me how the procedure works and what to expect. I felt I could trust him and he told me he could get me out of pain today. I can honestly say I felt nothing! I could not believe it! I was shocked! From that point on I knew I could trust him. Since that day I had the work completed and an awesome cleaning by the hygienist, Jillian. If I only had found them years ago I would not have neglected my teeth for so long.

Doctor Pivor was great to deal with. He was professional, courteous and most important....he was GENTLE. He performed a root canal and crown painlessly. He was informative throughout the process so I was not left to wonder what was going on in my mouth. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone looking for a dentist.

The office staff and hygienist (Jillian) were also excellent. I appreciated the follow up phone call to ask how I was feeling after my procedure. All in all, a great experience.

I went after a terrible experience at another office and honestly I didnt know what to expect. I was so plesently surprised to see smiling faces on everyone upon entering and even more surprised to hear that the hygienist that did my cleaning had been there for 9 years! I would and will definately recommend this office to my family and friends.

Usually, when I write reviews, they are to voice complaints. I thought I'd mix it up a bit and compliment an under-appreciated, necessary service, like the dentist! I have been a patient of Dr. Pivor's at Gentle Dental in Arlington for the past 5 years and have always had excellent service. I get very anxious before dental appointments but the anxiety is eased, the moment I walk in the door and I am greeted by name. The staff at the office clearly understands the meaning of customer service. The receptionists are so friendly and always take the time to help me with any insurance questions. Dr. Pivor has to be the most gentle dentist that I have ever seen. Whatever technique he uses to administer Novocaine, it works because I don't even feel that so called "pinch" that dentists warn of!! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dentist!

After going to Dr. Widronak in Peabody for many years I moved to Arlington and didn't want to make the drive so I went to Gentle Dental in Lexington. There I got a cleaning and was told I had two cavities that needed to be filled. I've never had a cavity in 38 years.

I went back to Dr. Widronak for a second opinion and he confirmed I did not have any cavities and in fact I could use a cleaning as they had done a poor job.

I strongly suggest avoiding this business.

I have had a very good experience at the Gentle Dental on Mass Ave in Arlington. The staff was very friendly and the cleaning and fillings they did for me were good and affordable compared to other dentists in the area who I contacted. Gentle Dental was able to see me quickly and the doctor was very gentle. Parking was a little tough but I found a spot after a little driving around. The second time I went to the office I got a spot right in front. I would recommend Gentle Dental to my family and friends.

This is a mediocre dental clinic. I would recommend it if you had very good teeth and do not need major dental work. Most of the hygentist are fresh out of school and are not so gentle when doing a cleaning. I have very good teeth and several procedure were recommended that I did not need. My insurance covered all bills so I am not sure how they rate price wise.
