I was there just this morning (a Thursday). I got there around 8:00 a.m. You've got to get there early. It was already busy, but it wasn't horrible. I saw many employees, all adults, who kept things stocked and were helpful. I didn't encounter any negative things to write about. Great prices. Worth the trip. Saved at least $25 today.

When ever my husband and I go to Market Basket, We always save money. We find a lot of good buys. We usually go once a month, but get enough for the whole month. We do not get a flyer, so we have to wait until we get there to see what's on sale. It would be nice to get one in our mail every week. Our mailing address is Thomas Cockrell P.O. Box 124 Wareham, Ma. 02571 Thank you. Respectfully, Karen Cockrell

Its a great place to shop!Prices are the lowest and I see them cleaning all the time.I think its as clean as the others in the area although their stores are newer and that makes a difference in looking cleaner.Ill stay with the low prices, the good selections and older technology thx.

We usually shop at the Stop and Shop here in Stoughton and spend $150-$175 a week on groceries. After prompting from my mother, who lives near the Raynham Market Basket, we decided to do our grocery shopping there this week. We were able to buy an entire week's worth of groceries for just under $100.00. Given the current state of the economy, we will definitely be shopping at the Market Basket weekly from now on!

I have been to a few different (Raynham, Bellingham, and Somerville) MBs and I think the place is fantastic. As a whole, I have found all of these stores a good experience to shop at.

Yeah, the wait at the deli counter is normally a long one, but so what, you (without a doubt) cannot beat the prices. Even their regular, every day prices are the same or below what other stores (Shaws, Stop and Shop) charge for a sale priced item.

As far as the place being "dirty" to tell you the truth, I never really noticed. Even if it is "dirty", that doesn't mean there is anything wrong with any of the food or products within the store. I also agree with the "Former Employee" that most of the "dirt" come from the shoppers. You have to admit, most of us (not all) when we are not at home, we can be less than caring about what we drop on the floot. Do we put things back where they belong when we don't want them? Not likely. How about picking things up when we drop them? Not all the time. Think about it.

Are the people chit-chatty, yes, maybe they are. So what. I think if you go to any of the other supermarkets, you will find a dirty store and people (kids) who are chatting with one another...look, they are teenagers. What do you expect?

If you want to spend $50-$150/month more in the hopes of finding a cleaner store or people who chat less, so be it. Go for it. Maybe the next time I go to the store, I will have a shorter wait time at the deli.

I love MB and always tell people about it.

I agree with others that Market Basket is outdated in not the cleanest grocery store around but you can not beat the prices..I do my grocery shoping either saturday or sunday morning right when they open the doors at 7:00am..So you get in and out quick..I love to be able to save so much money by doing my shopping there.

Seems as if everytime me or my family needs to get groceries, we have to wait till the Market Basket run because they do tend to have the cheapest prices amongst all of the local grocery stores. Although many peopole may say that it's not the cleanest, an no it's not, the savings still beat a bit of dust and dirt on the floor.

PROS: Prices
CONS: Cleanliness

This store offers alot of variety... Prices are good. but the store is not as clean as it could be. Bathroom are very bad. Would not use them anymore. Even though this store would save me money , the dirtiness of it keeps me away.
