I had purchased a bowling shirt from and online seller and brought it to Ryan and Sons to have her name embroidered across the back. When I went to pick it up, there had been a mistake in the type of font used so they offered to purchase another short and redo it. They were more then willing to purchase a new shirt for my daughter and embroider it with the proper font. I was thrilled with how it came out and so was my daughter. We also had a lovely conversation with the father when picking up the shirt and I will be more then willing to give them my repeat business.

Located in the center of downtown Attleboro Ryan's is a very handy place to pick up sporting goods such as tennis balls, golf balls and other consumables. Slightly more expensive than chain stores but handy.

Ryan and Son's is almost a landmark of Attleboro. We used to buy sporting goods and scout equipment when our own sons were growing up and the store is still there for our grandchildren;s needs as well.

Ryan and Son's has a great selection of uniforms for scouts, and local high school sports jackets. General sporting goods a little pricey, but you can't beat the convenience. They have a good selection, especially of hockey stuff.

I always go to Ryan & Sons if I need to get my children Attleboro brand clothing. The prices are good and they have all the area schools clothing.

We recently brought in two hockey sticks for repair. We were told one of them "probably" could be fixed and he wasn't sure about the other. Ryan insisted that we pay for the repair in full up front which came to $80, $40 for each stick. I thought payment was due when services were rendered. Reluctantly, we left the sticks in good faith. We were told they'd be done in 5 days. When we called back Ryan's son said one could not be fixed and the other was done and to come in two days. When we got there Ryan told us they weren't done, he didn't know when they'd be done, refused to go to the basement to check on them, and he refused to call his son claiming he couldn't get a hold of him nor did he try. We told him his son told us to come today. Again, he said "too bad" there's nothing I can do for you and call tomorrow. We told him we wanted the sticks. He claimed again that he couldn't help us. He claimed one of sticks was curring. We told him we wanted the stick that couldn't be repaired as well as the money back that he took from us. Again he told us he couldn't do anything for us. When asked why, he couldn't give an answer. We went back and forth like this for 10 minutes until other customers walked in and this nonsense obviously embarrased him enough to go to the basement and do the right thing. Are you kidding me? Is this how you run a business? He gave us the "unfixed" stick and the cash back and wanted me to sign a receipt. I told him two can play this game and I'd sign a receipt when I had my son's other stick. This man is not honest and we would not recommend spending a penny in this store. Too bad, really, because we should be supporting local businesses. Amazingly, we took the stick which couldn't be fixed to a pro shop which we should have done in the first place and they very simply told us what needed to be done to repair the stick. No drama!

My children and Grandchildren can usually find their sports gear at Ryan & Sons. It is located in the center of Attleboro so its easy to get to. We have been shopping there for years.

I recently went to Ryan and Sons to buy a Red Sox hat for a vistor. Staff was friendly, the selection of hats was very good, and the price was reasonable. Ryan and Sons also has a great selection of hockey equipment, and local sports uniforms.
