Blondie Salon and Spa

I was a first timer at Blondie and was not very happy with my experience. Perhaps I was expecting too much, but I was just going on previous experiences in other salons that were comparable in prices. I received no massage while getting my hair washed and was really looking forward to getting one. I felt there was a lot cramped into the small salon. It seemed like we were all on top of each other and hair dressers and clients were rushing around. It was not a relaxing experience. I'm going back to my old salon.

I used to be a regular at this salon until my my favorite hairstylist left. In the past would even recommend it to friends. I got my hair cut and highlighted by few different people after he left and was never thrilled. They always seem so rushed and don't really listen.

I decided to give it another try today. Unfortunately, I was VERY disappointed with my experience at this salon! In the matter of 20 minutes I had my hair washed, cut and blown dry--not styled. The hairstylist obviously did not listen as I said I did NOT want layers and just wanted a long bob with thick bangs. I even reminded them as they were cutting!!

I left $60 poorer and with uneven, oddly layered hair:(

I live in Atlanta, and fly all the way back to Boston every 2 months to have Kim Judkins-Bonadio cut my hair! I have tried other places both in Atlanta, and Boston, and have only been happy with Kim.
She truly rocks! It's really hard to get in with her schedule because she only works two days. Its well worth trying to get in to her schedule though!

Pros: Great service, staff is SUPER friendly!

Cons: parkingg is VERY limited, no tipping on credit cards, decent size waiting area

The BEST facial ever! I had the microdermabrasion facial. It's cost was $185 and worth every penny! Even though the spa gets the a little noise from the salon side, Jennifer made the room so soothing and peaceful that I didn't even hear anything but the music . My skin looks and feels great. The quality of the products and obvious education of the esthetician makes Blondie just as good if not better than any spa I have been to in Boston. And for waxing, Ashley is awesome!!! I am telling all my friends to go to Blondie!

I went to treat myself to a facial as part of a relaxing day I had planned, the 'spa' is Ok, it"s a salon, a bit noisey but they try, the facial was ok, but short! Come on if you advertise 110 facial you should give me that time and not rush me through in an hour. If you don't have time for that level of service then tell me when I schedule and I will pick another service. I payed full price ($160!) for 1 hour! not exactly what I signed up for.
It was not my first facial although my first and last at this location, too bad they are convenient to my home., but I will go to Boston from now on. They advertise big city service in the suburbs, if they gave what they promised I might agree, again the facial was fine but not the top of the line experince that I was lead to believe they could provide, and they didn't even live up to their own description. I would not return or recommend for that reason.

I love Blondies salon and spa! It is a great place for everything like getting your hair done and getting massages and plenty more. You should try blondies it is a great place and the enviorment is clean and nice looking and the hair dresses are so nice! All i say is try blondies salon and spa in waltham!!

After weeks of having my roots growing out, I went to Blondie feeling embarrassed and self-conscious, my color looked horrible, and my blonde roots were coming in very noticibly. The set me up an appt w/their corrective stylist Amy, and she took excellent care of me. I went in assuming I was going to strip my hair. But she helped me make a better decision that was in the best interest of my hair. It would have made them more money to strip it, but she convinced me that that would be a bad choice. So after making a new game plan, I came out feeling so great. I loved my cut, and new color. The salon is very clean. Small, but nicely set up. Amy was so nice to me, and even wrote down the exact formula that she used on my hair a few times, because I was moving out of state, and that way I could inform my new stylist about exactly what was done to my hair.

Just a heads up, they won't let you put your tip on a credit/debit card. So be prepared to tip in cash or write a check. That was a little embarrasing to find out as when you don't have enough cash on hand to give a fair tip.

I had a lot done to my hair, so my bill wasn't cheap, if you want a dollar hair cut, go to super cuts, but if you want it done right, and are willing to spend a bit, go to Blondie.

Anglea is the ONLY real- not fake person in the whole salon.... she is the only person who will ever touch my hair. Angela is very personable, funny and all I do when I am in there is laugh. She is an unbelievable artist and she really takes pride in her hilites, color and cuts.... I highly recommend checking her out......

I went to blondie and had colored my hair at home, and needed them to fix it. They did such a wonderful job. My hair had never looked better. They colored it back to my natural haircolor and highlighted it to give it a sunkissed look. They also did a powerdose after the color which made it super shiney and returned it back to healthy looking hair. They gave me a wonderful haircut to go along with it. I have never gotten so many complements on my hair. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to work me in so they could fix my hair that day for me from my at home error. They had offered me drinks and snacks why I waited and I had great conversations with the other clients while my hair was processing. What a great salon, I would recommend it to anyone.

I WAS ALREADY FOR A FACELIFT HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY AND BASKING IN THE SUN FOR MOST OF THOSE SIXTY YEARS. IN JULY, I READ IN THE PAPER THAT BLONDIE SALON AND SPA WAS HAVING $50 OFF MICRODERMABRASION DURING THE MONTHS OF AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER. WHAT DID I HAVE TO LOSE?.........WRINKLES AND BROW SPOTS. WHAT A TERRIFIC LOSS........I DID IT. NOT ONLY ONCE BUT FIVE TIMES SO FAR. EACH TIME, I LOOK YOUNGER AND YOUNGER. I NEVER KNEW THAT THE STAFF DID THIS SERVICE.....I KNEW BLONDIE WAS NUMBER ONE IN WALTHAM FOR HAIR AND NAILS BUT NEVER DID I KNOW THE SALON HAS THE ULTIMATE IN SPA SERIVES. MY HAIR ALWAYS LOOKS GREAT WHEN I HAVE IT DONE AT BLONDIE. NOW, I CAN SAY MY FACE ALWAYS LOOKS GREAT WHEN I HAVE IT DONE AT BLONDIE. NO MORE THINKING OF A FACELIFT FOR ME. MICRODERMABRASION IS SO GENTLE I FALL ASLEEP DURING THE TREATMENT JUST LIKE I DO WHEN I GET A MASSAGE THERE. NOW, WHEN I GO OUT WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN, PEOPLE LOOK AT ME AND DO NOT KNOW IF THEY SHOULD SAY CHILD OR GRANDCHILD. THAT IS THE ULTIMATE FUN FOR ME. I have never recieved such a star treatment like I did at Blondie! Everyone was so friendly, knowledgeable, fun and yet totally professional. These are the kind of people I want to be friends with! My stylist and skin person really listened, and even made suggestions to help me out. I can't imagine ever going anywhere else... why would you? I loved the personal treatment and recommend it to all who want to be treated the same.

Don't waste your time or money. My experience: rushed through, horrible attitudes, extremely bad haircut - she gave me a mullet, with uneven bangs. Had to go back and she didn't even fix them, she just gave a me quite an attitude and said it was because of my hair! I'll never go there again, they're a bunch of amateurs wanting to be Boston stylists. Ever.

Pros: Parking (it's the only good thing)

I was offere tea coffee/decaf, diet soda, water, chocolate, and they have an abundance of snacks.. The best color I have ever had.

This place is unbelievable. Its one of the most unique salon and spas in waltham! I loved the services. My appointment was on time and the staff gooes above and beyond for their clients.
