Refused to Honor Marked Price
PS3 game was marked 19.99... sticker was affixed to cellophane of game case... Game was encased in tamper proof plastic hard shell case. Associate removed it from plastic case and admitted it was their mistake. Manager was called over, apologized for the inconvenience and again admitted that it was their mistake. He offered me a 10% discount, but firmly refused to honor the ticketed price. I reminded him that by law, they must honor the marked price... perhaps I am incorrect. Obviously Best Buy does not adhere to the policy that the customer is always right... even when they admit the mistake was theirs. A small matter, I know... over a measly $19.99, Best Buy has lost a customer. On principle alone, I will never again purchase anything from Best Buy.

Great experience upgrading cell phone at Best Buy/Marlboro, MA

I needed to upgrade my phone (4 years old) but didn't need any bells or whistles - - - - just a phone to use as a phone! The 'Geek Squad' staff was extremely helpful in explaining the differences between the phones and suggested I buy a 'go phone' (without the 'go' service) because it offered me what I needed at the best price. They probably spent a good hour with me in total. They even transferred my address book from my old phone. I was very impressed and would recommend them highly.

With a Store. The Geek Squad at this store does not know what they are doing- if you walk to their counter looking for help, they will ignore you and walk by for the first 5 minutes you are there. They did not keep correct records of my computer, and got it mixed in with the computers of the other people in my family, so when I needed a no lemon exchange, they said that it had not been in enough- and procedded to list a number of things that I had never done to my computer. Their mannagment does not listen or respect the customer. I will never NEVER deal with this Geek Squad, or Best Buy again, after being disrespected the way that I was. This was not just one experience- after having my comptuer have to be fixed 6 times (sounds like a lemon) I am yet to have even have ONE positive experience with them.

This place is above average when it comes to finding electronics but its not the very best. I like the one in Worcester a little better. the location of this one isnt too great. Its kind of far away from me.

Best Buy to the rescue

After unintentionally putiing my cell phone through the washing machine..............I went to 3 different stores and Kiosks to get a new cell phone, as I was entitled to a free upgrade. I had no luck from these places.....even the one who is my own cell phone company. I needed the cell phone that night because we were leaving first thing in the morning for vacation. I had 3 kids in tow ...who had not had dinner yet and were getting pretty antsy. I finally went to Best Buy..............They were a god send!! I was helped by two associates....one was entertaining my children., while the other helped me get a new cell phone as promptly as he could. I couldn't thank them enough for everything!! The customer service is A+++++ all the way! They really went out of their way to make my experience very positive!!
PROS: Great customer service!!! The Best I have Had!!
