I shop here for gifts/collectables and find their service and pricing excellent. Their jewelry is high quality and they have some unique styles with good gold weight. Thanks also for buying my old gold/jewelry and giving me a fair price. This is a great store with good, honest people. Thanks!
I have used Cooper Jewelers layaway policy for years and have found it the best value ever. With 20% down and paying something every month for 10 months there is NO interest OR FEE. As long as you pay something (they don't even tell you how much that has to be) the store is content. It has always been clear that there must be some activity (payment) each month. That is only fair. I can't believe that woman thought she could just leave the ring there and not pay anything for a year. Getting those extra two months was over and above what Coopers needed to do. Grow up and take some responsibility for your Inaction.
Me and my husband traided in a diamond towards a ring at coopers. The ring we purchased was around 4,500. They only game me 1,300 for a 7,000 diamond. (stupid on my part). The ring was put on layaway for about a year now. Because it was very expensive. We just got a notice from them saying that if the ring was not paid today it would go back on the shelf and if we still wanted it we had to come up with 3, 200 tonight. I called Bob (not the owner but he thinks he is) and he was so rude. Donna (the real owner) finally called me back after me calling about 5 times! I asked her for a little more time and she came out and said NO! Never did it say anywhere on our receipt that you only had one year for it to picked up. I told her that I either want my diamond back or the 1,600 dollars that we had already put down on the ring. I told her what she was doing was illegal and her response was "take me to court"!!! And that is exactly what I am going to do. I could not believe the crappy customer service there. Since day one everybody there has alway's been so rude and nasty. I would never recommend that jewelry store to anyone! You can find much better prices and better quality jewelry anywhere else but there. Don't make the same mistake I made...Don't shop there. You will end up sorry you did. Read all the other crappy reviews..........

Don't waste time at the chain jewelery stores. Coopers has better prices and awesome staff that aren't pushy at all who really take the time to find what you want. My fiance picked out my engagement ring here and I couldn't be happier, it is beautiful and just what I wanted b/c the staff spent time with us and really helped us out. It is great for couples who are getting engaged and need a little extra info on buying a ring for the first time. Take advantage of their sales too-there is one going on now 50% off. You will love it there-just go!!
I have been to Cooper's several times now and have purchased a number of great pieces. I also had my wedding bands sized...and resized... then fused... the staff is always patient and courteous. I NEVER feel that welcome in a mainstream chain store. I will continue to take my business to Cooper's as long as they'll have me.
Pros: Customer service is outstanding
Cons: I can't get there enough.
I just made the major decision to get married and being your stereotypical male I had no idea what I was doing. I did some recon work to find out what kind of ring she would love and went on my search. I went to every place in the area and it seemed like they either didn't have what I wanted or they were trying to play me for a fool for a "bigger and better" ring. My friend had recommended Coopers and I gave it a whirl. I met Marci. She took the time to just listen to what I wanted and spent what seemed like no time at all to show me the ring setting and stone I was looking for. Perfect! Perfect! Perfect. Those are not just my words but those of my new fiance. I cannot recommend Coopers enough. Just wonderful
Pros: Extremely knowledgable, very caring
This jewelry store is the best jewelry store bar none! They really got to know me so that whenever I go in they always have a piece to show me that I always fall in love with. They really know what I like! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and if they don??t have something they will get it or have it made special for you. I can??t recommend this place enough! If you are looking for beautiful jewelry, unique pieces and great prices ?? you can??t beat Coopers!
I have been a customer for over 25 years. The staff has been nothing but helpful and fun. They are not on comission and it shows because there is never any pressure nor do you feel rushed. Design and repair work is outstanding. I would never trust my jewelry to anyone else.
Pros: lovely staff
Cons: may have to wait
My family has been shopping there for many years, Always a pleasure.
Pros: Great Staff
Cons: Always Busy
This was my second time coming to this jewelery store. I had purchased a wedding band there the first time. Then I dropped off an expensive watch to be repaired. I was told it would be $30. A few minutes later, I was told it could possibly be an extra $20 because of the way the watch was made. I asked them to call me if it was. I never received a phone call. They called me to tell me that my watch was ready and I asked how much it would be and they replied $30. I show up and its $50. Not only did they charge me that $20 the face of my watch was scratched up. I said something and their reply was oh. They didn't care!! They called me up after and left a message that they would fix it for free. I already paid them an extra $20, how is that free? What condition will I receive my watch in if I send it back to them? All the diamonds would probably go missing. Never ever going there again. Can't even be bothered to call them back. Oh, and my battery is dead.
The store seemed to have nice items for sale, however the employees were very rude. Two of the ladies were too involved in their own (personal, not business) discussion to even acknowledge me. By the way, I am a 40 year old professional woman -- not some young girl -- it should have been obvious to them that I had buying potential. I will go elsewhere.
I'd stay away from this local jeweler. The reception I received was unfriendly, and the service was poor. I requested the estimated value on heirloom in my possession--a service I know some jewelers offer--and I was met with cold stares and basically told that nothing is for free. While they probably think that is good business sense, I say it's bad business. I was a potential customer who works in the same town. If they had treated me well, that could have resulted in thousands of dollars in future revenue for the store. Now, that potential is gone. Good going, ladies. I like to give my business to local stores, and the only thing I expect in return friendly service. Now, I'll seek that at another jeweler.
Recently had a piece of Jewlery made, nothing to fancy, for a love ones Birthday. Upon inspection of the piece, found it to be of poor quality. I couldn't give it to anyone , Coopers acknowledged thier mistakes and said they work expidite manufacturing a new piece, I have yet to recieve, and the persons Birthday has passed. The actual cost of the piece was $600.00 and I couldn't believe all the imperfections in the craftsmanship.
Cons: They have all the excusses in the world.
