I have gained a couple of pounds every summer because of the scones at this bakery. When they have cheddar-apple scones and maple-pecan scones, I buy all of them to freeze for the winter when they are closed. I am always so happy when June arrives because that is when the bakery opens again. They know me by name, so it doesn't get much better than that.

The best home baked cookies. Try the sugar or snickerdoodle cookie. The muffins are out of this world. Try the carrot cake muffin. They also carry soup. The gazpacho is in season now & is delicious!

Our favorite stop (Thur-Sun) in the morning. Everything is baked fresh daily, it tastes homemade (not like a commercial bakery). Our favorite is Friday morning when the "melt-aways" (an iced cream cheese danish that literally "melts" in your mouth) come out on the counter still warm from the oven. Their cookies and specialty brownies are fabulous, the muffins are perfect (not like the gigantic lead weights sold in most bakeries). This is truly a Cape Cod treasure!

The muffins are great - especially the peach muffins. The cookies also - try the hermit cookies and the lemon-cranberry. The apple-cranberry crumb pie is the best!

Keep an eye open or you will miss this treasure, but if you find it you will quickly know you are at the end of the rainbow. The muffins, cookies and pies are fresh, delicious and a must have treat on any visit to the Cape. Home made baked goods, a small but delightful gift shop and a bakery staffed by the friendliness owners of nearly anywhere we visited in MA., this place has only one flaw, it sells out too quickly. We missed out on the muffins and settled on cookies for our last visit..those gingerbread cookies were melt in my mouth fantastic. Should have bought more.
