In ShortDebuting in 1962 as Thrif D Discount Center in Scranton, Pa., this drugstore chain became known as Rite Aid in 1968, and today is one of the largest in the nation. With all that has been going on in the news with CVS messing up prescriptions, it is nice to know that there are still old-fashion pharmacies you can trust. Brooks pharmacy on Saratoga Street has not given me any problem with any prescription for the past five years. Also, they have great prices, and a much larger variety than the average drug-store. The service is always with a smile.
