Hair Connection

I have really difficult hair, that being said Hair Connection...well Angela in particular is the only hairdresser that has the scientific knowledge and know how to match my dark ash blonde hair to cover my gray with Tocco Magico that she uses. I like to have my gray hair covered and Angela always matches it perfectly and makes it look natural. I don't...and won't go anywhere else! Yay!

Angela is good at what she does. If you think you know what style you are looking for, ask her to do it. If she thinks it will work, she will do it. If not, she'll tell you. I've never had the others cut my hair so I can't rate their quality. I do know the place is friendly and welcoming. Their prices are no higher than the other salons. If you want to pay a cheap price, try Supercuts and cross your fingers. Also, if you don't like what any of them have done, you go back and they will accommodate you. Very simple. People keep coming back to this place so they must be doing something right! Besides, where else can you go and get a floor show like Peter?

My husband and I found Peter, Angela and Carmela in 1985. We moved to Cleveland in 1994 and were only able to return to Boston twice while leaving out of town, both times we visited the Hair Connection. In 2005 we moved back to Boston and reconnected with our friends at the Hair Connection. I now drive 45 minutes to have my hair cut because they do a great job, and it doesn't hurt that the price is very reasonable.
They don't let me out of the chair until they think the job is perfect, and that is often after I think it looks great!!

I had an awful experience at Hair Connection. I have pretty easy hair (long, straight, just needed a trim) and I have NEVER had a bad haircut before... until now. The people were very nice but I don't think Carmela has any training or knows what she's doing. She did the cut and told me she was finished... but my hair was still pretty wet! I asked her to dry it more and she did, for 45 seconds. I walked out with it still wet. It didn't look polished at all -- there's no way anyone would know I just came from a hair salon. When I got home, I realized that the cut was uneven... the right side of my hair was 3/4 of an inch longer than the left.
I went back in the next day to have her fix it (she did it for free) and this time watched carefully what she was doing. She cut my hair like a piece of cloth -- just took scissors and snipped what she thought was a straight line. The left and right sides are about even now but the back is a mess -- it's jagged and uneven. It doesn't look at all like I just got it cut. Now I'm going to have to pay someone else another $50 bucks to fix it. What a horrible experience.

I love This Hair salon. The entire staff are curtious and entertaining. They take their time on every customer and and make sure the cut and style is what the customer wants.
I will admit it is the only hair salon in which i was beckoned in by a smiling face and a wave. The staff is just that cool and welcoming. All around it's a great hair salon.

I stumbled upon Hair Connection while looking randomly for a salon(from out of town).
The staff were very friendly and chatty, this is a family business and the staff more than make you feel at home.
My haircut was fantastic, the stylist asks you what you want and makes helpful suggestions.
I would definitely go back again.

This was a decent place for a haircut. I enjoyed the staff; they were polite and nice. My hair grows really fast so I need to get it cut often. The place could be cleaner, this dampened the environment. I have not found a place that I absolutely love yet. This hair salon was OK and I might go back but it's not my all time favorite; I'm still searching.

I like this place alot and come all the time and know many of friends that come here and love it as well.I guess if you have the money to spend you will enjoy the salon.Prices was abit high but worth it you know really it was nice and clean and big too. The price for a cut is "super", but trust that the quality of the cut may be exactly what you pay...or don't pay for. The prices are reasonable for a hair salon in the city. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I've been going to the Hair Co. for years and always feel at home as soon as I walk in. The staff is beyond friendly--always joking around and having fun.
