Fitness First

I was surprised to read some of these reviews (especially the ones about them never updating anything). I've been there for several years now and have been very impressed with all of the renovations they have done and their constant drive to help cater to all members. I have been to numerous gyms and health clubs all around the Northeast and Fitness First definitely is at the top of them all. Everybody that works there is extremely nice and makes you feel comfortable. Every where else that I have gone I have felt intimidated but the trainers (both personal trainers and group exercise instructors) and other members there really helped me feel more secure and confident. I know that some of the equipment is a little older but its been kept up so well that it works just as good if not better than newer equipment at other gyms I've been to. On a final note I just want to also say how great the owners are. They are definitely business oriented but they are extremely involved every day and are never too busy to stop and help, answer questions, or do nearly anything to help you feel more comfortable or get more out of your time at the gym.

This club is the best one in the world people are so great!!!Wouldn't go anywhere else. The aerobic classes are amazing and so much fun its great to workout and have fun at the same time.

I was in FF in the early 90s and returned to check it out recently. It appears they haven't changed or updated anything since then. Its dirty and the monthly dues were very expensive compared to other gyms. The only reason people might join here is because there is nothing in Feeding Hills.

They haven't updated their facilities in 20+ years. This place is far too expensive and is just in horrible condition. I would never return. 50 dollars a month and equipment from the 80s.

One of my boys did swim and gym here and it was great. He had a lot of fun! My children have been to a lot of Birthday Parties here and they had a wonderful time. I would recommend this place for birthday parties.

I have very much enjoyed my membership at Fitness First. The facility was looking older for a while there but recent renovations are looking very sharp! I sincerely hope they renovate the womens bathroom and locker room next. The pool is a big plus and the water aerobic classes are wonderful. The large staff is polite and friendly, with only one exception that I can think of. They have a really good personal training program, many trainers to choose from. The birthday parties are unbeatable for children. Really nice group of people working those. I find the price on the higher side, that is true, but it so far exceeds my Curves experience it convinces me that in the end you just get what you pay for.

was very uphappy with that club. if i were you do not join.manager was mean, I ratter go to golds gym before i join that gym agagin mens locker room was a mess

Not a good place for single men. I was innocently relaxing in their hot tub while a womens' water aerobics class was going on in the pool. The next thing I know the manager was asking me to leave and canceling my membership. Someone complained I had my eyes on the pool too much. The manager did not care to hear my side of the story.

I am not crazy about Fitness First and there is not alot of clubs to choose form so this is basically the best. As far as Fitness First goes it is a pretty run down health club. The one plus they have is a indoor pool. It is a small club and tends to be to crowds and there is no space to move around. On the weekends there are allot of kids and they seem to be catering more to the family.

Fitness First is a decent local gym. They have quite a few people who use their facility and sometimes during peek hours after work and on weekends. They offer a lot of services, including the pool and party room.

My daughter went to a friend's party there a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time. The combination of swimming and then playtime in the room was perfect. The staff was very attentive and I know the mom of the b-day girl loved it.

I had my daughter's birthday party here and it was wonderful. The staff took care of everything, before, during and after the party. And I mean everything, they even cut and served the cake! The facility is clean and spacious and they offer many activities for the kids.
