I've been a client at this animal hospital since 2009. I love all the doctors here. They are fantastic. They send out post card reminders for your pets several months in advance so you have enough time to book an appt. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly, service is wonderful! If you are in this area, this is a GREAT animal hospital!

Dr. Suh is awesome. She takes care of my pet just like he was hers. He had surgery a few months back, and Dr. Suh called on her day off just to check in on him. The prices are reasonable also. I would highly recommend Marion Animal

I took my German Shepherd in in June for a follow up after she was spayed and they did a stool sample, after which I never heard back so I assumed she was fine. Last month the day care I take her to contacted them for a check up report including the result of her last stool sample. At this time I received a call from Dr. Suh accusing me of not taking care of/following up with them after my dog tested positive for round worms. They had NEVER told me that she had worms, so I went the entire summer and into fall thinking that there was nothing wrong only to be accused of not handling the problem properly. It is a common theme with Dr. Suh to have her make you feel like a poor pet owner whether there is something wrong with your pet or not, the mere possibility means you suck. The rest of the office is wonderful but I was still never told about her worms so I can't recommend them to anyone with good faith.

Dr. Francis, Dr. Shu and Dr. Cummings, and their staff, are the most compasionate, caring individuals I have ever dealt with in veterinary care. They are extremely dedicated to the care and wellness of animals. Clients to whom are use to the prices of the former Dr. Trembley must remember his practice was paid for many year ago. These 3 fine, well educated young doctors have loans, mortgage and are updating their equipment. This cost is VERY high. I cannot begin to tell you how highly I repect the doctors and their staff. There is absolutly no need to bring language barriers into this.Shame on you!
Have you been to Mass General lately? Some of your top doctors are forgein. The service Marion provides is exceptional! They are TOPS and I HIGHLY recommend them!!

We took both of our dogs here for their annual visits and I was really not impressed. Our normal vet is further away and we wanted somewhere closer to home but we'll definitely take the drive over what we got at Marion Animal Hospital. The doctor hardly spoke english and had a lot of trouble explaining things to us. She kept repeating the same things over and over again when I asked questions. It was like she was incapable of answering anything directly. The bill was over twice what we were quoted (we were told they would charge no office visit fee for my other dog and they charged it anyway). I understand vets are expensive, I definitely get that, but what was I paying for here? 1970s decor and equipment and a doctor that couldn't communicate with me? No thanks, I'll stick to Chase Farm in North Dartmouth where they are friendly and helpful and you know what to expect.

Dr Francis and Dr Suh are the best. My minischnauzer was near death last year from pancreatitis. We almost gave up hope. I was there almost everyday for 2 weeks between IV medications and hydration, my schnauzer finally was responding to treatment. The MAH always saw her right away. The MAH team were great, the love and caring they gave my pet. Yes, it was exspensive, she is a family member and worth it. One year later, she is doing great and healthy because of the care that she receives from the MAH.

This place is a godsend! Both Dr.Francis and Dr. Suh have been nothing but saviors to my pets. I would highly recommend anyone who wishes only top notch care for their loved ones. The attention I get there as a client is unbeatable. The prices are extremely competitive, I'd challenge anyone to find cheaper.
Keep up the great work!

Dr.Tremblay retired near the end of my darling Candy's life. He had treated a very serious heart condition with nothing more than an x-ray and an examination. Meds kept her alive for another year. Dr.Francis was treating her near the end and I found her to be wonderful and compassionate vet. She pulled out all the stops and eased my tremendous loss.

Have prices gone up? Of course. My rough guess is that a young vet has spent 350,000 on education and then of course the purchase of the business. Take a pet to one of the 24 hour vets and get ready to remortgage your home.

When Dr. Tremblay operated Marion Animal Hospital, he was MORE than a 5 star vet. Yes, his sense of humor was dry, and probably misunderstood by most, but his care and concern for the animals and for their "parents" is unsurpassed. My dad would bring our pets to him and often I would accompany him to the hospital & was mesmerized by this phenomenal man.

When I grew up I brought my pets to him, primarily cats, and as far as I am concerned, he has no equal. He is the best, and I feared that the day would come when he was ready to retire. I knew how good we all had it with him. I knew how much he cared, I knew what he did for me, and I'm sure he treated others the same way. He did his job because he loved it, not because he needed simply to pay his mortgage. He is very special person and I'm sorry for all those who chose to go somewhere else and missed out on this Godsend.

Dr. Francis & her staff are doing a fine job in their own right, but technology has taken over where small town appeal used to reside. I would like to see the new staff strive to compromise the clinical feel just a little in favor of what the locals have come to know, the personal touch. So far I am satisfied with the new "regime", but they are still new. I expect as time goes on they will adapt well and so will we. Dr. Tremblay is still there from time to time & has some influence. They will do well to learn from him.Dr. Tremblay is a hard act to follow. I miss him terribly. He was more than a doctor - he was the best. He was the example that these new vets should strive to be.

In the late 60's, my parents moved to wareham where I grow up. Growing up with 2 cats, I remember every year going to Dr. Tremblays Animal Hospital so they could have their yearly physical & shots. When I was 20 (1989), I got 2 dogs of my own I started bringing them to Dr. Tremblay for the first 2 years of their life until moved out of town. Then I went to a veterinary clinic around the corner from my home. For years, I went to that clinic. When I moved back to Wareham in 2005 (then age 36) with 1 dog and cat, I started going back to Dr. Tremblays animal hospital. To my shock, his prices were still back in the early to mid 90's. Shortly after he did retire and sell the business to another doctor. The new doctor did go up on the pricing but it is still less money than I used to pay when I lived out of town. A couple of people (1 a close friend) told me the new prices were to high that they were thinking of going elsewhere. My response to them was "You're crazy" and told them what I used to pay. I also told them that if he can't afford pets, you shouldn't have one. If people don't understand inflation, don't complain. I'm sure the new doctor has a mortgage (If not good for her) but her pricing is reasonably. People love to complain about prices going up, but never here people complaining about how much equity their home and the stock market earns them (MOST YEARS). For example, 10 years ago I took $50,000 and put it in the stock market. Since then it had increased to about 200,000. But now with the way the market has been, I have lost about a 1/3. Who cares I'm still ahead and it will go up again. So to all those complaining about prices in general, live with it, its a part of life.BEST OF LUCK TO THE NEW DOCTOR, DR. FRANCIS, AND TO THE OTHER 2 NEW ADDITIONS OF DR. TEMPLE AND DR. SUH

Dr. Tremblay was a wonderful vet and he kept his costs very low. However the new vets there are a God send. My little dog moved from Florida with me and Dr. Tremblay correctly diagnosed her without any expensive tests. Then he retired. We were initially worried that the new vets would not be as knowledgeable, etc. Much to our surprise they were just as knowledgeable, if not more so and they are both wonderfully compassionate and very loving towards our precious pets. The improvements they have made at the clinic are only for the improved care of our animals. When it came time to euthanize my wonderful little companion they could not have made it easier for us. My little girl was made so comfortable and the doctor made it as lovely as she could. Dr. Francis is a God send for sure. We have already bought a new puppy thanks to our experience with this clinic and would not think of bringing our pets anywhere else! The increase in fees has been totallly understandable due to the improvements they have made there and our experience has only been a good one.

I take my animals to Marion Animal Hospital- with that being said yes Dr. Trembaly was a great vet but the new owner Dr. Rachel Francis is outstanding!!! Also Dr. Kelly Temple is wonderful.

The hospital is now up to date with technology needed to care for my pets. And the prices are so reasonable it's ridiculous!!!

For those who are complaining please I dare you to shop around and find better prices. You'd have to go to some half/fast animal clinic in the souht end of new bedford were they don't even keep track of any records to get lower prices

Sorry but i care for my pets and charish Marion Animal Hospital and there new owner!!

Forever Faithful!

I never took my dog to see the old vet - but the two new female vets are great! Dr. Francis was knowledgeable and listened to everything i said. Plus, the offices are now super high tech with computers in all the exam rooms (and still lime green from the 1950s!). And they offer an in-house grooming service. I don't know much about vet prices - but these seem totally reasonable to me. If you're looking for a local vet - I highly recommend checking this place out.

I have been going to the Marion Hospital for many years and my animals have always been treated with kindness. Yes, Dr Tremblay does have a dry sense of humor, but you would have to get to know him. He was always there for my animals 24/7 99% of the time. He only took a vacation once in a while. That's dedication. I never questioned his prices because he was always reasonable. I hope this new vet is conservative just like Dr. Tremblay. She has gone up on the prices by 75% which is a big hike and the staff does not know there prices. I hope they get with it.

We take our Boxer to the Marion Animal Hospital and have always had exceptional service with a smile. Dr. Tremblay is extremely knowledgeable, attentive to our dog and has such a hysterical sense of humor! We feel safe and confident having chosen Marion Animal Hospital. They do not over charge for their services and will accommodate any income. We were recommended by a family member and have recommended their office many, many times again without any hesitation!
