Dr Best & Foxboro Animal Hospital are great

by Daniel N.

Our dog was dying. Dr Best immediately identified the decease correctly and after an operation and several days in the Foxboro Vet Clinic our beloved dog is back with us.
Dr Best made an impression of a professional and the staff at the Foxboro Vet Clinic made impression of caring people.
The prices at the Foxboro Vet Clinic are affordable. I think that such great people as there should earn as much as possible but in my current situation an affordable cost is a relief for my budget.

Foxboro Animal Hospital is horrible hackers!!!!!!!!!!

by Heather S.

I recently took my 5 1/2 month puppy there to be spaded. I am absolutely appalled with how my dog, my boyfriend and myself were treated. The front desk talked down to me like i was some little child, which i may look young for a 22 year old but it's still uncalled for. My puppy's Incision looks like a haggard mess. It's not even a straight line...it looks like a doddle line a first grader would draw. When the girl went to go get my dog from the back room she was practically dragging her because the puppy was still sedated from the sugery. They lied about the price and told us we wouldn't be charged for things, yet charged us anyway. I thought they cared about the interest of my dog but there only care was the money. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone getting this surgery done by Erin Scott.

My Favorite people

by Lauren A.

I have gone to Foxboro Animal hospital for many years. Over the years I have also sent many of my friends there who were unhappy with their vets. Everyone I have sent there has loved them!
I have been involved with Greyhound Rescue for 17 years, ferret rescue for 7 years and Shiba Inu rescue for 6 years.
Everyone at Foxboro Animal Hospital has been wonderful to me! They have seen me thru bleeding dogs, dying ferrets, cancer in my dogs, as well as routine things. No matter what I have been there for they have always been wonderful. They have been more caring and compassionate than my family many times and have never ever been unfriendly or unprofessional.
When I first started doing ferrets they had very little ferret experience. Dr. Moschella and Dr. Best have always been open to my suggestions and very willing to get the appropriate medicine that my ferrets needed.
I can't tell you how many times I have arrived on their door step with some kind of animal disaster with tears in my eyes and a broken heart. I have always been recieved with open arms and caring hearts.
I have watched them deal with clients who were demanding, clueless or just down right stupid, all with a smile on their faces and a polite manner, no matter how much time it took.
I would and do recommend this animal hospital to any one. They are terrific and there are many months that I spend more time with them than anyone else I know!
I love you guys and I want you to know it!

Poor Customer Service

by Alysa N.

We live in Sharon and wanted a vet close by, so we selected this animal hospital for our 2 cats and 3 dogs. Unfortunately we have received consistently poor service from both the front desk and doctors. Although usually competent, the best words to describe them are "rude" and "insensitive." Good example- We recently had our 1 year old lab treated for a respiratory infection. After a couple different antibiotics, his condition was not getting better. Upon calling with concern, both the desk and vet spoke to me as if I was being a pest rather than sounding at all caring. I nicely explained I was disappointed with their service and was laughed at. I'm done with this place.

Professional and Caring Doctor

by Anonymous

Dr Moschella is by far the best vet in the surrounding area. His willingness to take the time to discuss the pros and cons of various treatment options and to listen to all my concerns and questions, along with his extraordinary kindness and compassion are hard to come by these days. I only wish that some of his technicians and particularly his front office staff were more consistently professional and as considerate as he is as they do a disservice to the practice. I will continue to recommend to others with the caveat not to always expect a friendly or cordial response from all.

Dr. Moschella is Excellent...

by Anonymous

I've been bringing my dog to Foxboro Animal Hospital for 10 years, and I have never been dissapointed. Dr. Moschella is a very kind man, who obviously loves animals and is devoted to his patients. We are lucky to have him so close to home. Whenever our dog needed to be seen right away, Foxboro Animal Hospital would ben over backwards to see him. Marcy, at the front desk is also compassionate and caring. Would recommend him to anyone new in town looking for a veterinarian .

Caring Doctors & Staff

by Debby F.

After reading one of the reviews here I was a little nervous about taking my beloved Cardi (18 1/2 year old male cat) back to the office but everyone I've personally spoken to recommended the office. We had only been there for "routine" visits. This time, a week before Christmas, my Cardi was very sick...dehydrated and diarrhea - I knew he really needed help. So we went in and they kept him and really checked him out and tried different medications to help fight what ever it was that was causing his diarrhea. To no avail, IV fluids meds, it was helping but not fixing. We believe that he probably had some type of intestinal cancer.

Every time I visited my kitty, the staff was all very caring and talked about watching him there in the "front" area of the clinic (behind the exam rooms) they didn't put him in the "back" area because they wanted to keep a better eye on him and they talked to him, despite the fact that I told them he was deaf. I really feel like they all are caring people and would recommend this office to anyone. We have seen Dr. Best, Dr. Murphy and Dr. Moschella (and a female vet, I forget her name). Dr. Moschella was the doctor who cared for Cardi most, I think, in the end. All the doctors were pretty frank with me on his prognosis without being harsh or cold but gentle and honest. Although his prognosis was grim they didn't give up they kept trying until the end when Cardi seem to be giving up himself. We had to have him put to sleep 2 days before Christmas, on a Sunday and it was as pleasant as could be, in that situation. Dr. Moschella gave me plenty of time to say goodbye to my sweet Cardi, who I have had since he was a kitten, my best friend for over 18 wonderful years. It breaks my heart to have to let him go but I feel like he was in good hands while at the Foxboro Animal Hospital and will use them again with other pets.

Foxboro Animal Hospital is Full of Professionals

by Jane E.

I am so happy that I have Foxboro Animal Hospital to take my dogs to. From the doctors, to the techs, to the receptionists....they are all professionals. I have unfortunately had some very "rare" occurences with my dogs but they have always been able to work with me to bring them back to health. I just want to say...thank you Foxboro Animal Hospital.

Excellent Animal Hospital

by Robert B.

I have used the Foxboro Animal Hospital ever since I got my dog as a 10 week old pup in 1994. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog to sleep this past week. I have used all the Doctors there - Dr. Best, Dr. Moschella, Dr. Olsen and Dr. Murphy and believe they are all excellent veterinarians. Since 1994, I have used them from annual vaccinations to minor surgery to actually having my dog admitted to the hospital and have always been very satisfied with the results and with the conduct of the veterinarians and their staff. All of the staff showed warmth and concern for my dog. The office is clean and organized and almost always found it easy to get an appointment especially if there was a potential emergency.

Thanks for Killing my Best Friend

by Krystina M.

This hospital makes me sick to my stomach. My dog sat in the back room dying while no one did anything about it. Dr. Best (should be renamed Dr. Worst) Said that I had a very sick dog but yet all he did was stick him in a cage in the back room with an IV and never checked on him again. I called the hospital 5 times the following day to ask about the lab results that were supposed to be sent in at 9am. The results never came in. I waited until 6pm to get the lab results (The new time they said they'd be in) and still nothing. 10 1/2 hours later a "Partial Lab Report" came in but it was too late. My dog died on the way to a different hospital. If these people had actually cared about my dog they would have told me that he needed to be sent somewhere else .. .instead they let him waste away in the back room with no sympathy. My dog was only 3 years old... they assumed he had liver disease and thought putting him in a cage and not checking on him would help him out. When I finally arrived at the second hospital my dog died in my lap. My dog meant absolutely everything in the world to me and I hope this hospital realizes what they've done to me and my family... not to mention my dog. Thanks for killing the one thing in my life that was pure and I loved more than anything else in the universe. I truely believe that if we had Dr. Moschella from the beginning when we first brought my dog there he would have had a chance to make it. He was the only caring person at this Animal Hospital and his partner should not work there. Thanks Alot.

PROS: Only one Pro, Dr. Moschella
CONS: Neglegent, unsympathetic, rude, cold, Dr Best

Great Vet

by Jody W. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,868

Growing up in Foxboro, we always brought our dogs and cats to the Foxboro Animal Hospital.

The staff was always very attentive and they took care of all of pet's needs. This included anything from shots and teeth cleaning, to more intensive issues.

We raised Siamese kittens, so we were frequent visitors. We were always happy with the service provided.
