not quite what I thought  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I took the kids to another educational field trip here. The anticipation was pretty high. It was a good trip, but not great. The Pilgrim village had some interesting moments, especially when there was an actor there. The Wampanoag village was probably more interesting, but it was very small. The longhouse was cool. I think they could have better eating facilities also.

Educational and interesting  4 Star Rating - Very good

My husband and I visited Plimoth Plantation on Thanksgiving, and it was pretty packed. Both villages, the Pilgrim village and the Wampanoag village, were fun to explore, and the employees seemed very knowledgable. I particularly enjoyed the Wampanoag village - as someone who prefers listening over interacting, it was more interesting for me to listen to the employees there talk about the Wampanoag people from a modern perspective, rather than interacting with the Pilgrim employees who were in-character as Pligrims. There is also a very well-done museum about the real story of Thanksgiving, which challenges stereotypes people hold about Thanksgiving. Also, there is a building where crafters demonstrate Pilgrim-era crafts. My main complaint is that it's a bit pricey, but that's to be expected for an attraction like this.

Great option for a family outing  5 Star Rating - World class

This is a great way to spend a lazy afternoon with your family. The period characters really get into their roles. Kids will love the activities and watching life in action as it was hundreds of years ago. Everything seems very true to how it was back then. The trip here is well worth the money and the trip. Great admission prices.

A great resource!  4 Star Rating - Very good

Plymouth Plantation is a great educational take-in for anyone who visits Plymouth. Plymouth Plantation is a recreation of the colonists' village built in 1620. There's also a recreation of a Wampanoag village as well. The employees are well versed in the history and are immersed in the "act" of living like the colonists. There are also other attractions located not too far from Plymouth Plantation - downtown, the waterfront, the Mayflower. Plymouth is such a great place to visit!
