4 Stars: Ginza Japanese Restaurant is cute, yummy, and a good place to go. (by Shannon L.)

Ginza is a restaurant off of St. Mary's Street which makes it a pretty convenient location for people in Brookline or Boston. I have had the udon and tonkatsu here for lunch before. The food here is prepared well and the portions are a good deal for the price. The service here is fine, but nothing spectacular. I would recommend them if you are looking for Japanese food, but maybe not for the sushi because I am not sure that their sashimi would be great.

5 Stars: Best Sushi in Boston (by Rod D.)

I've been to a number of places in the Boston area and this one really takes it. Very fresh and they are always at the top of their game. The traditional kimono dress and lack of spoons for the Miso, make it quite nice to be a part of. Skip the snobby Fugakyu and the waits of Oishii and just head here.

4 Stars: Excellent food (by S. J.)

Located just outside of Boston at St. Mary's Street. Great Japansese food, and surprisingly authentic, not Americanized. Traditional Japanese atmosphere, including kimono-clad waitresses. Best to park on side streets which is free for up to two hours.

4 Stars: Good Japanese food (by Jennette M.)

This tiny little restaurant offers a big selection of food and booze. The food is genuine Japanese, and it's quite tasty. This non seafood-eating patron was quite happy with edamame and chicken. It's a boisterous place. If you like genuine Japanese food, this is a good place to go. The prices are fair to low.

PROS: Good, genuine Japanese cuisine
CONS: Tiny little restaurant
