Unfortunately, I cannot report a good experience with Eagle Farms. In May of 2009, I bought two "sky pencil holly" shrubs and planted them in my front yard. I've planted dozens of things over the years, so am not inexperienced. When I made the purchase, I asked if they needed any special treatment, care or planting. According to them, none was necessary. By September, one of the hollies was completely dead and the second was showing signs of decline, despite faithful watering. By March of 2010, the second one was also dead.

I went into Eagle Farms in person (with receipts and pics of the dead shrubs in hand) to discuss the matter, the first week of May 2010. I was told by the young gentleman who seems to run the retail side of things that I should email the owner, Jason, and he would respond. It took two weeks to get a response, but Jason said while they couldn't guarantee shrubs over the winter, he would give me 30% off replacements and plant them for me. He also said he'd have those particular plants in stock within a few weeks. I replied that since one was dead prior to autumn and that the other one died very shortly thereafter, could I possibly get 50% off? (Most places, like Thayer, down the street from them, replace dead plants for free if they die within one year.) I never got a response to that proposal.

About three weeks later, I again went into their store in person and asked for Jason. He wasn't there, but the same young gentleman took down my name and number and said I would receive a call "that night". Well that was about six weeks ago and I've never received a response and my phone calls have gone unreturned.

I may not be a six figure landscaping customer, but my money is as green as everyone else's. Do not patronize this business if you expect any customer service at all. No matter how hard you try, If you have a problem, you will just be ignored.

I have been going here since I was a child. Whether it be for a Christmas tree or just a plant, they are always very helpful and friendly.
