Love Panera just not this location
by Denise W.
I love Panera Bread BUT I have not had luck with this particular branch. I just returned from picking up a salad for lunch. They did not include my dressing & some of the greens are wilted and actually brown. This is not the first time this has happened to me with this location.

I love this bakery. they are a little pricey but it is definately worth it. as soon as you walk in you are hit with the wonderful aroma that only fresh bread gives. the sandwiches are a meal in themselves and the menu is extensive. i give this restaurant 2 thumbs up.

Panera Bread makes your mouth water when you walk in the door. The one in Frederick is a little smaller than others I have been to (for example, the Leesburg, VA, one is quite large), but the quality is there. They offer almost anything you can imagine, from Frapaccino-like drinks, to hot chocolate and coffee, sandwiches, cookies and delicious treats, bagels and breads. It is a great place to meet up with a friend, but they are often crowded.

this is the place and they serve a lot of delicious breads and fresh meat sandwiches, oh man the soups are unbeleivable, they also have a dessert area that you can buy from , The place is spotless, and reasonable as well. You can get a half a sandwich and a cup of ssoup for under 6.00, tHEY HAVE A TRULY GREAT VARIETY to choose from as well. I go there once a week.
PROS: Freshest food in town
CONS: they need to be bigger it gets crowded lunch and dinner hours.

Panera bread is probably the best bakery i've found in Frederick. I guess that's why there are always lines inside this place. The food is super good and fresh and the sandwiches are HUGE. As are the loafs of fresh baked bread. The tomato basil bread is our favorite and is a giant loaf for under $4 dollars. Their sandwiches are so big that my husband and I usually split one. They nornally come with a pickle and a bag of chips as well.Their bagels are so good and come in some really neat flavores like passion fruit and hazlenut chocolate chip and asagio and spinach. The bakery/restraunt is super clean all of the time and the counter help are fast and friendly.Don't expect to find a great selection of bagels or fresh baked bread though if you show up after 6 p.m. at night.

Freshest breads, creative sandwiches and always hot soup is what you'll find when you choose Panera's for lunch. This is a favorite among my mom friends - so you might even call it a mom-friendly restaurant!
I can't forget the freshly baked bagels in a variety of flavors, unique breakfast sweets and delicious cookies!
Besides good food, they offer great service. Usually there is a pretty long lunch line if you arrive after 11:30, but their system of ordering and picking up at two separate locations keeps the line moving and traffic at a minimum.
My favorites? Cinnamon Crunch Bagel, Asian Chicken Salad and Brocoli Cheese Soup.
Enjoy!
