Main Street Gallery

Main St. Art Gallery is truly an art experience! This warm, inviting shop carries unique, hand-made jewelry, ceramic tiles (some made on-site by a very talented artist), other wall art and home decor (gorgeous blown glass, for example), and unique gifts that you can't find elsewhere. I love coming here to shop for others, but especially for myself. Prices are very reasonable and the selection changes, so every visit there are new, beautiful pieces from which to choose. It is apparent the owners keep the details in mind, which adds to the "specialness" of every purchase I've made (for example the shopping bags they use). It features many local artists and vibrantly keeps art alive - something that never goes out of style. It is worth the trip to Prince Frederick, Maryland if you are looking for something special or for the person who seems to have everything. I can't believe how many people DON'T know about this place yet!! I think it's open Wed-Fri til 5 and Saturdays until 4... but call ahead to double check if you're traveling a bit of a distance. You won't regret the trip!

I found this gallery to be absolutely wonderful! It has a serene pleasant atmosphere but with an undercurrent of intense colorful energy. I had a hard time deciding just exactly what I would leave with. I finally decided that I would choose a exquisite art tile by Joyce McAdams entitled "Bamboo & Wisteria." There is such a nice and uniquely beautiful selection of so many items to choose from. Also the owners are warm and friendly ~ I look forward to coming back!

Very nice atmosphere. I was given the opportunity to look around, but if I had any questions, there was always someone right by to answer. Very enthusiastic about the art they carry.
