Reviews for Cliff's Direct Effect Inc

Ratings_icons Great Service!

I recently made an online purchase to the PIAA website to order a few sets of their wiper blades. The next day I received a call from Cliff's saying that since I lived so close to there shop that they could hand deliver them to me. I was just about to step out so I stopped by there shop and picked them up. I wasn't aware that they were the "middle man" so to speak for these wipers. I now know to stop down Cliff's for these AWESOME wiper blades. They are the only place that I know of, except for online, who carry these things. Cliff's now has a customer for life. And there staff are very friendly. I have nothing bad to say. ******* If anyone else is tired of crappy wiper blades that streak after a few uses, try PIAA. They are around $20 but are VERY worth it!!*****

Ratings_icons No problems here

Me and my family have been dealing with Cliffs for years, we have probably taken a total of 10 cars there over the years and have never had a problem. The last time I was in their shop the was a problem getting a part in for my truck it was on back order or something and my insurance was going to cancel my rental car and Cliffs ended up paying for the extra days in the rental them selves. They are a great place to deal with, very professional. Ashley H. my question is Cliffs gives you a lifetime warranty on the work they do did you take your car back to them to give them a chance to fix the problem...No. And after reading the other reviews you left most about restaurant's its obvious you are probably a fat cow who would rather sit on the computer and bad mouth businesses.

After reading the review about Cliff's Direct Effect my question would be.. Since when does Cliff's Direct Effect do body repair? Cliff's Direct Effect Inc on 610 Stemmers Run Road is clearly a mechanical garage and has been since incorporation 5 years ago. Very bad when someone can leave a very misleading review.

Ratings_icons Repair was shoddy and noticable.

My boyfriend and I took our 06 VW GTI to Cliff's to have a dent on the back right fender repaired. They were recommended to us by our insurance company. We were told the dent could be banged out and painted, but the employees at Cliff's insisted we have the entire panel repaired. The cost was pretty high but we had been told the workmanship there was worth the price.
We were told we would be given a comparable rental car, but we recieved a HUGE car with a Hemi engine - absolutely nothing like our tiny GTI! We were both very uncomfortable driving it. The repair took much longer than we were quoted, and they ended up keeping our car an additional 6 days. The receptionist was very rude to us when we would call to ask about the progress, even though they were the ones who were almost an entire week over schedule! It was a huge hassel.
When we got the car back, we initially thought the repair looked fine, but only a few weeks later the handle on the passenger side door came loose and a part of it fell off! This time we decided to take it to the dealer to be repaired. As soon as the mechanic looked at it he said "Whoever replaced this door did a really poor job"--before we had even told him it had been worked on.
This is not the first time we've had trouble with them, either. A few years ago they worked on my mother's car, and when she got it back she couldn't get her key out of the ignition!
I would NOT reccomend Cliff's AT ALL- there are tons of other places in the area that don't look as fancy but their talent and workmanship more than make up for it!

PROS: Not many.
CONS: Poor workmanship, high prices, more worried about aesthetics than quality
