I came to Marymont when I had an emergency to treat my dog's infection that was misdiagnosed by another vet. I called on a Friday morning and they were able to squeeze me in at 6pm when they were close to closing. Not only was the Vet accommodating and gentle with my dog but so was the staff. They were really professional, personable and the prices were extremely affordable (And that was really great!). The Veterinarians which are husband and wife quickly assessed my pup's condition, gave treatment quickly and likely saved her life. They were very knowledgeable and caring too. Unlike my other vet, it seemed like pulling teeth to get any info from him. I had to keep asking questions and begging for a diagnosis which he was reluctant to give and seemed so indifferent to my dog's pain. My dog is recovering slowly now and hopefully this will be our new Vets.
We have been bringing our pet cats and dogs to Marymont Animal Hospital since 1981, and will continue to do so. Prior to discovering Marymont Animal Hospital, I had tried many different veterinarians. I was so blessed to have been introduced to Dr. John Meyer back in '81. He is truly a wonderful Veterinarian. His son Dr. Greg, and daughter-in-law, Dr. Alison are just as awesome. They and their entire staff are very knowledgeable, and super compassionate animal lovers. I definitely give them 5+ stars!
We have taken every dog we've own to Marymont Animal Hospital. They have a wonderful and caring staff and our dogs enjoy them too! When we had to put our 9-year-old Lab down during surgery, they were so sympathetic and helpful during our time of grief. Unless we move, we will continue to bring our pets there for the wonderful care they receive.
We take our 2 dogs to Dr. Meyer and Dr. Martini and they give them exellent care. They are very helpful and always make time for our questions. They also took care of our guinea pigs. They are both very friendly and kind to our animals. They are both very experienced and very hardworking Vets.
We have three dogs that we have taken to Dr. Greg Meyer and Dr. Alison (Greg's wife) (and Dr. John Meyer, when he was in the practice) for about 10 years. We have always received excellent care- they are great vets but they are also caring-sometimes that is not part of the package.. They are knowledgeable, they are caring; they do good follow-up. When we had a beagle with liver cancer, they also continued to follow his progress when we had to take him to a specialty practice. We are moving and will miss having access to their practice greatly.
