Timonium Auto is THE most honest mechanic shop around. They have great business ethics and do great work. They appreciate their customers and always put them first. Howard Douglas should be criminally charged with being an ugly man ;) I

I started going to Timonium Auto Specialists after being marjorly ripped off by Mr. Tire a few years ago. They always manage to fit me in for an oil change. They never bother me with unecessary repairs or try to nickel and dime me. Now

I know that we at Timonium Auto Specialists do rip people off and cheat. We at Timonium Auto Specialists have no idea what we are doing and just but parts on a car to make money. We don't really do State inspection we just walk out to

I went to Timonium Auto for a State inspection to change my tags over to MD. They failed my car for corroded battery cables, stickers in the window and a leaking rack and pinion. They quoted me 1,024.00 to replace my rack. I do not have

i started going to Timonium Auto around 2004. My other mechanic kept charging a diagonistic fee for something they could not find wrong. My Toyota Corolla now has 153,000 miles, and Timonium Auto keeps it running. Lou lets me know when something is wearing down and asks if I would like to repair it that day. There is no hard feelings if i decline that day. And even the busiest day, they still find time to change my oil if i just stop in. They are very, very honest and I will be their customer for a very, very, very long time!

My wife and I have trusted our cars to Lou and the folks at Timonium Auto Specialists for 15 years, and have rarely been disappointed. Estimates and repairs have been handled competently and in a timely manner. And their super-low prices on oil changes (about half the going rate) have saved us lots of money.

Timonium Auto Specialists lied to me about my car! I took my car with a damaged area to them for quoting. On Sunday, I went and looked and saw my car sitting in the parking lot the same way I had brought it in 4 days before. On the next day (Monday) at 7 am, I called and called and they picked up at 8 and I told them to not touch my car and that I was going to just tow it away and pay them for storing it there and the quote. They said "ok we will keep the car until you come tow it today in the afternoon." So I go there in the afternoon and I see they have taken off the damaged piece and now it's not moving. They wanted me to pay extra for having worked on it when I had said don't!

Liars!!

I removed my car from their lot and am never going there again!

I've been going to Timonium Auto for years and was recommended by a friend who has also been using their service for years. Their prices are comparable with other auto repair facilities. I've never been up-sold on any parts or services I didn't need. On more than one occasion, they have squeezed me in when I had an emergency, e.g. parts falling off, broken window in winter.

Mostly, I appreciate the fact that every employee has always spoken to me with the utmost courtesy. Unlike the dealership up the street, they do not treat me like a senseless, blonde bimbo.

Pros: never feel like they are taking advantage

Cons: wouldn't like them to get more popular

Everytime I take my 02 toyota in, they ALWAYS call and "sell"me something. Cant i just get an oil change or minor work without something always being wrong (I never knew I had any of these problems) Parts seem outrageously priced. I have compared to other places and they are always the highest. This place was convenient because of train, but it just isn't worth it anymore. Theres another place one stop up I will give a try. Tyres? Tires? Auto. Staff here is not so friendly. Getting worse everytime I went. I have noticed some staffing changes and I think this hurts their credibility. what happened to the friendly $10 oil change? long gone. Be careful

My family has 3 vehicles. My son's P.o.S. has over 150,000 miles on it and Lou and his mechanics have kept it running nicely. They don't repair things unless it is necessary and they will call with the price and an estimate of how long it will take to repair.

I have always taken my wife's car to the dealership and the "service" has been questionable at best. Her car went to Timonium Auto and they have handled it just like my son's car. I love these guys.

When my car comes out of warranty take 3 guesses where I will be taking it when it needs servicing!

The place we use to go to gave us a life time garentee on their work & 3 month 100% refund on parts they installed garentee for as long as we owned our truck. Knowing we had them and Tripple A we never left home without them. This Hi-Tech Shop was highly spoke of, so we went to. We needed more work done one winter day to find a locked door & empty waiting rm & no one knew anything in near by stores.

Where we swim are a lot of elder members who were always chatting at the swim meets of getting their cars worked on. We ask where? "Timonium Auto Specialist of course, they listen!!!".

My foot was on the floor easing to a rolling soft stop with a shimmying front bumper with a wee tug to the right on take off. I knew we needed a right ball joint and suspect front end stablizers as for the brakes....scared.

Me with my service dog beside pulled in on a wing & a prayer. Lou took our Sweet Truck for a spin. A lot of folks a head of us the lot was full. They road me and dog home and came to get me the next day. The boys from the other place with the great garentee put the wrong brake shoes on. burned up our brake drums on all four, UNBELEiveable cracks could be felt and seen and the front right was egg shaped. Timonium Auto Specialist did a lot of work on a loved old truck. I thought knowing how much the other place charged us all the time it would come to $2,000- $3,000 but no it was under $1,000.

Just like the elder folks said at the swim meet, they take care of us older folks. They listen to us. They check out our worrys. They keep us safe on the road.

My now 20 year old truck needs a front left wheel bearing and I want to have 4 inch lifters installed. Wish they did radiator work but I have to entrust my Beloved to someone else. Then Lucky Trucky for Christmas gets a new muffler and I hope a new paint job ....I want Lucky to wear a big American flag from front to half way back.

Anyway we Love the People at Timonium Auto Specialist. Always will. :)

I brought my '99 Sienna for a complete tune-up before a 1,000 mile vacation. Everything went ok with the trip/van . no problems. After it was time to change the spark plugs, I went to another shop. The other shop told me that whoever installed the plugs before(Timonium Auto Specialist), put in the wrong kind. Instead of dual electrodes, they put in cheaper single electrodes. The specification is even printed on a sticker right inside the engine bay. Avoid at all cost. grumpy service too.
